DON’T LET THIS BE OUR LAST CHAPTER

A pleasant day to you. I just want to give you this letter as an apology for the things I did wrong and for the mistakes I may have made along the way. Ayokong matapos o masira yung friendship natin because of my mistakes. With all due respect, I still want us to be besties for life. If may nagawa man akong hindi maganda or something that hurt you or you didn’t like, sana sabihin mo na lang sa akin. I want to know, because I want to understand and fix it. I don’t want to lose you without even trying to make things right. Ayokong sukuan ka. Ayokong sukuan yung connection natin, kahit ramdam nating pareho na parang unti-unti na talaga itong nawawala. I’m sorry if this sounds selfish, but I still want to stay despite everything. I still want to make things right between us. I want us to be okay again. I want us to be happy again, even if things may not be exactly the same as before. If you’re just tired, I’m sorry if I’m only adding to what you’re already carrying. I understand that maybe you’re tired of everything, and I don’t want to make things harder for you. I know it may be impossible for us to go back to the way we used to be, but please, ayokong umabot tayo sa point na no contact na talaga. I know deep inside myself that I can eventually live without talking to you, but honestly, ayoko. I don’t want it to be that way. I’m trying to become someone you would still want to be around. I’m still trying because I want to fix us. Nung ako yung umaayaw at pagod, nilaban mo. You stayed when I was the one who wanted to give up. To the one I Never Want to Lose, Kyle Andrei M. Tayag

Kaya ngayon na ikaw naman yung umaayaw, gusto mo bang ganun-ganun na lang din? Sorry, pero hindi ako papayag nang hindi man lang sinusubukan. Kung kailangan kong magsimula ulit from the very beginning, from the time na hindi pa tayo close, then I will. If I have to slowly earn your trust again, get to know you again, and build our friendship from scratch, I’ll do it. Basta, sana mag-stay ka. I’m not asking you to forget everything that happened or pretend that nothing went wrong. I just want a chance to make things better. I want to show you that I’m still willing to try, even if it takes time. I just want us to be okay. I still want you to be my best friend. And honestly, I miss you... so much. I’m sorry for my mistakes. I’m sorry for the things I did that hurt you, whether I realized them at the time or not. I may not be able to undo what already happened, but if you’ll let me, I want to do better from here. No matter how far we’ve drifted, a part of me will always hope that we can find our way back to each other. I still choose our friendship. I still choose you. The One Who Still Remembers, Edrose C. Bulanadi

AERE PERENNIUS Maybe Bubu and Dudu are just two little characters, but to me, they became a reminder of us and all the little things that made our friendship special, the jokes, random conversations, and memories we made without realizing how much they would mean someday. People change, circumstances change, and sometimes friendships become quieter. We may misunderstand each other or drift apart, but I hope that doesn't always have to mean letting go. I don't need us to be exactly the way we were before. I just hope there is still a place for us in each other's lives where we can laugh, talk, make new memories, and simply stay. If our friendship has become a difficult chapter, I hope we don't close the book just yet. Maybe there are still pages left to write. And if we need to start again, then let's start again. I just hope we don't give up on a friendship that once meant so much to both of us. Maybe things are different now, but I still hope that somewhere along the way, Bubu and Dudu can stay besties for a little longer.
