Sometimes, I think about how simple beginnings can turn into something soo special. You are one of the best things high school ever gave me and I’m really grateful for that. For 3 years in Achimota School you were my sitting partner but somewhere along the way, you became so much more than that. You became my friend, my safe place, and a sister. One of the things I cherish most about our friendship is how comfortable we are with each other. I can open up to you about my problems and share the things on my heart without being afraid of being judged. You have always been my listening ear, and I will forever appreciate having someone like you in my life. You have also helped me grow in a very special way by teaching me lessons from the Quran and helping me become more conscious of my religion. You shared knowledge with me that contributed to my own spiritual growth. I’m still not where I’m supposed to be but I’ll eventually get there.
