I learned that meaningful progress happens only when residents take active responsibility instead of waiting for others to solve neighborhood problems. Furthermore, the lesson highlighted how open communication and grassroots teamwork can turn common frustrations into lasting solutions. Ultimately, I gained a deeper appreciation for the fact that building a healthier, stronger community requires continuous, collective effort alongside our neighbors.

I learned about the causes of flooding, such as heavy rain, clogged drainage, and urbanization. I also learned that floods can cause damage to homes, affect people’s daily lives, and create health risks. Because of this, it is important to know what to do before, during, and after a flood. We should prepare an emergency kit, secure our important things, know our evacuation routes, and stay updated with official announcements. This lesson made me realize that being prepared can help protect not only myself but also my family and community. As an NSTP student, I can help by sharing what I learned, staying informed, and participating in activities that can help prevent flooding. I also learned that we should avoid floodwaters and move to higher ground when necessary to stay safe. Overall, this lesson taught me that awareness, preparation, and cooperation are important during floods. Even small actions from each person can help make our community safer and more prepared for future floods.

SWOT stands for Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats. I understand that strengths and weaknesses are internal factors, while opportunities and threats are external factors. It helps identify what an organization does well, what needs improvement, and what challenges or possibilities it may face. For me, SWOT Analysis is important because it gives a clearer view of a situation before making plans or decisions. After learning about SWOT Analysis, I realized that it can also be useful in our daily lives and not only in businesses. It can help us recognize our own strengths and weaknesses while also being aware of opportunities and possible challenges around us. I also learned that simply listing the SWOT factors is not enough because they should be used to create strategies and plans. This made me realize that proper planning becomes easier when we understand our situation first. Overall, SWOT Analysis is a simple but helpful tool that can guide us in making better plans and preparing for possible challenges.

I was a little nervous at the start lalo na 1st year in Civil Engineering because I did not know what to expect. However the teacher smiled and welcomed us with a very warm tone. The way the teacher talked made the whole room feel comfortable right away. Everyone started to listen carefully and pay attention to the lesson. By the end of the session, my worries were completely gone.Having a different facilitator gave us a fresh way to learn new things. The teacher explained the ideas in a simple manner that was very easy to understand. We were encouraged to participate and share our thoughts with the class. This new style of teaching made the topic interesting for all of us. I am now looking forward to attending the next meetings with our new facilitator.
