Rachel Laver Chair of Trustees Chief Executive's Foreword This year, Landau has continued to support people to overcome barriers, build confidence and move towards brighter futures. Every day we see the difference that personalised support, opportunity and belief can make in someone's life. I am incredibly proud of the achievements of our participants, many of whom have progressed into employment, education, volunteering or greater independence. Behind every statistic is a person with their own ambitions, challenges and successes, and it is a privilege for Landau to be part of that journey. I would like to thank our dedicated staff, partners and supporters who make this work possible. Their commitment and passion ensure that people remain at the heart of everything we do. As my first full year as Chief Executive, I have been inspired by the resilience of the people we support and the dedication of our teams. Together, we will continue creating opportunities and changing lives across our communities. Phil Taylor Chief Executive Officer

VE DAY COMMUNITY CELEBRATION VE DAY COMMUNITY CELEBRATION Thanks to grant funding from Telford & Wrekin Council, Landau hosted a VE Day Community Celebration at our Wellington Study Programme Centre, marking the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day. The centre was transformed into a 1940s-themed street party, with staff dressed in period clothing and learners enjoying a range of interactive activities, including a Lindy Hop dance workshop, traditional outdoor games, a wartime rationing station and a community buffet. The event gave learners the opportunity to explore an important moment in history while building confidence, developing social connections and taking part in a fun, inclusive community celebration. It was a memorable day that brought people together through learning, laughter and shared experiences. We are grateful for the funding that made this event possible and helped create a meaningful experience for our learners.

SHROPSHIRE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION & PAVE AWAYS Thanks to funding from Pave Aways through Shropshire Community Foundation, Landau delivered a series of construction employability taster days for young people who were not in education, employment or training (NEET). The sessions gave participants the opportunity to experience the construction industry in a practical, supportive environment, helping them develop new skills, explore potential career pathways and build confidence. Alongside hands-on activities, young people received employability advice and guidance to help them take their next steps towards training, apprenticeships or employment. The taster days provided a valuable introduction to the sector, helping participants broaden their aspirations, gain practical experience and make informed choices about their future. We are grateful to Pave Aways and Shropshire Community Foundation for their support in making these opportunities possible.

Thanks to funding from Herefordshire Community Foundation, Landau delivered a series of Employability & Wellbeing Community Days, providing free advice, practical support and wellbeing activities for our clients and the wider community. The events offered a welcoming space where people could access CV advice and employability guidance, financial wellbeing support, an interview clothing station, and information on local opportunities. Alongside this, interactive activities including craft sessions, journaling and a compliment swap encouraged people to connect with others, build confidence and focus on their wellbeing. The Community Days helped people take positive steps towards employment while promoting wellbeing, reducing social isolation and ensuring individuals could access support in an informal, inclusive environment. We are grateful to Herefordshire Community Foundation for making these valuable events possible. HEREFORDSHIRE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION Employability and Wellbeing Community Days

I feel more confident knowing where to go for support for my child.”Throughout 2025, Landau continued to develop and manage the All Age Autism Support Service Directory, helping autistic people, families, carers and professionals across Birmingham and Solihull find information about local services and support in one accessible place. The Directory brings together information covering areas including education, employment, health and wellbeing, advocacy, leisure, supported living and support for parents and carers. In 2025, Landau launched Building Brighter Opportunities, a new programme supporting young people aged 16–24 in Telford and Wrekin who are not currently in education, employment or training. As a new programme, much of this first year focused on establishing referral routes, building relationships with local partners and introducing young people to the support available. During this initial year, 35 young people started their journey with Building Brighter Opportunities. The programme complements Landau’s wider education and employment services, allowing us to support young people who may need more intensive, individualised help before they are ready to progress. Early feedback also highlighted the value young people placed on having accessible, personalised support. “Happy to help me and listen to what I want to go into a job.” “Always available to speak and answer my questions.” “Helping to support my employment prospects – improved CV, helped me to apply for a bus pass, supporting me in person with job applications and visits.”

162Individuals accessed the service35 Individuals into Employment Our IPS service provides personalised employment support for people accessing health services, working closely with clinical teams and employers to help individuals find, secure and sustain meaningful paid employment. IPS During 2025, our IPS service continued to grow in line with the national expansion of Individual Placement and Support. Working closely with Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust, we increased the IPS team from three to six Employment Specialists, the largest the service has ever been. Alongside our two Talking Therapies Employment Specialists, this means that our Herefordshire provision now includes eight Employment Specialists supported by a dedicated Team Leader, making it Landau’s largest employment support team. This growth has significantly increased our capacity to help local people experiencing mental health challenges to find and sustain meaningful employment.

IPS & Talking Therapies Feedback “I’m so glad I didn’t give up. The support I got really helped me stay focused and positive, even when it felt like nothing was working. Getting this apprenticeship means everything — it’s the first real step into the career I’ve always wanted.” “One of the great strengths of IPS is the ability to provide real-time support during key moments like interviews. Being able to sit in, offer feedback, and reassure the client makes a huge difference to their confidence and performance. It’s also a great opportunity to build relationships with employers — when they understand what IPS is about, they’re often very open to collaborative approaches. It allows us to not only support the individual, but also to educate employers about inclusive recruitment and the benefits of working in partnership.” “They re-frame my worries and fears in a way that makes sense to me. They've helped me with my cv and with finding volunteer employment which I've found very rewarding. This has given me the confidence to now look for paid employment and they're helping me with that. It's a group effort and the search continues. I feel confident in their abilities and they boost my confidence too.”

“I can’t believe it! This is my dream job. I’m so glad we applied for it — thank you so much for your help and encouragement.” Professional (Mental Health Team): “The IPS approach has really brought out the best in her — she’s more confident, positive, and ready for the next step.” “I found the mock interview really helpful. Watching someone else answer the questions gave me ideas for how I can improve, and it reassured me that I did better in my real interview than I thought. I feel much more confident for next time.” IPS & Talking Therapies Feedback

Social Care StokeSocial Care Stoke 2025 was a landmark year for our Newstead site. The significant increase in referrals reflected the growing demand for our services and led us to make the decision to relocate our education provision to Hanley. This change was warmly welcomed by our social care learners and their families, creating more space, a calmer environment, and exciting new opportunities for future growth. One of the standout achievements of 2025 was the purchase of Landau's first-ever minibus. Working together, our staff, learners, families and supporters raised an incredible £37,000 in just 12 months. The impact has been immediate and far-reaching, providing learners with greater access to education, community activities, work experience opportunities, and enriching life experiences that were previously more difficult to reach.

The increased space at Newstead created exciting new opportunities for learner development. Following consultation with staff and learners, we launched a weekly wellbeing session which quickly became one of our most popular activities. The sessions provide a safe and supportive environment for learners to reflect on their thoughts and feelings, build confidence, and develop positive wellbeing practices that support them both in and beyond the centre. Keeping Learners Safe and SupportedDuring 2025, one learner experienced significant mental health and safeguarding challenges which placed their education and wellbeing at risk. Our team provided consistent, individualised support, working closely with the learner’s family and a range of professionals, to ensure a coordinated approach to their safety and wellbeing. Daily support, monitoring and intervention helped the learner to remain engaged with their education throughout an extremely challenging period. Through continued advocacy and multi-agency working, an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) was successfully secured, helping to provide the longer-term support and stability the learner needed. Despite the significant barriers they faced, the learner continued to engage, achieve and make progress. This demonstrates that our role extends beyond education – providing stability, support and a safe environment in which every learner has the opportunity to move forward.

Building Skills, Confidence and Futures Building Skills, Confidence and Futures Learners on Landau’s Construction Study Programme put their practical skills into action by designing and building an impressive handcrafted wooden picnic bench. The bench was created by Jamie and Brandon, with the support of their construction tutor, and gave both learners the opportunity to develop their construction skills through a real, hands-on project from start to finish. More than simply producing a finished piece of furniture, the project helped the learners build confidence, solve problems, work through challenges and recognise just how much they are capable of achieving.“I feel a lot more“I feel a lot more confident.
