I remember traveling for music for the first time in 1997. Sun & Soul Festival in Cancun. The first time I heard Erykah Badu sing Call Tyrone live—and something in me shifted. My first Essence Festival was in 2003. I was five months pregnant with my now 22-year-old daughter, still outside well past midnight, moving through sets from Stevie Wonder, Erykah Badu, Frankie Beverly, Anita Baker, Usher, Mary J. Blige. But what I remember most clearly isn’t the headliners. It’s hearing Amel Larrieux on a small stage tucked in the back hallway—her voice cutting through everything else and landing exactly where it needed to. That’s the thing about traveling for music. It’s never just about the lineup. For years, Montreux Jazz Festival (its Atlanta iteration) Memorial Day Weekend and House in the Park over Labor Day were staples on my calendar—and free is still my favorite price point. I’ve splurged on VIP at Blue Note Jazz Festival weekends in Napa, then happily moved back into general admission when the experience shifted. I’ve gone to Whale Rock with my aunt to see Ben Harper, and watched festivals evolve across cities and stages. Different places. Different price points. Same feeling. Whether it’s stateside or overseas, on land or at sea, music has always been one of the best reasons to travel. It gives you a way into a place. A reason to stay out a little longer. A way to connect—with the people you came with and the ones you didn’t expect to meet. In this issue, we’re following that feeling. From global headliner festivals to vibe-led weekends where you find your people. From cities where the soundtrack is part of the destination, to festival trips worth building around. We’re helping you pack smarter, move easier, and even pay over time if that’s what gets you there. Because the best music trips aren’t just about the show. They’re about the place. The people. The moment you didn’t plan for—but won’t forget. We hope you find your groove somewhere in these pages. See you in the crowd! Founder & Editor LEGGO by IJUS Travel The music gets you there. The moments around it are what stay with you. Music takes you placesMika

We introduce you to 30 of the world’s largest stages, global draws, and high- production music moments. Where the music takes you matters. But how you arrive? That’s everything. This is more than a lineup. It’s the rooftop before the show. The slow morning after. The kind of stay that lingers just as long as the last song. From desert stages to coastal sets, from city lights to open-air soundscapes— these are the festivals worth traveling for. And more importantly, the ways to experience them well. Consider this your guide to moving differently: closer to the music, deeper into the destination, and fully into the moment. Start here if you want scale: major stages, long-running festivals, global audiences, headline-making lineups, and enough production around the event to build a full vacation. These festivals are not defined by geography. They are defined by attendance, longevity, production footprint, and international draw. THE BIG-STAGE FESTIVAL GUIDE IJUStravel

Some trips start with a destination. These start with a feeling. A sound you come back to, the crowd that gets it, a long weekend that feels less like attending something — and more like stepping into your own frequency. This guide is for travelers who want the music to shape the journey. Not just the headliner. Not just the city. These festivals are made for deeper travel — the kind that gives you time to arrive, settle in, follow the sound, and build a trip around the energy that already feels like yours. How to Choose Your Festival Choose by the feeling first. Do you want jazz and soul under summer skies? Afro- Cuban rhythm on an island? House music where it was born? Country in the desert? Or Bachata in Dubai? Each festival carries its own vibe— and the best trip is the one that matches yours. AmaWaterways Music River Cruises A beautiful fit for travelers who want the soundtrack of Europe without the pace of a traditional festival. These sailings lean into cultural programming, live performances, musical history, and scenic river towns, creating an experience that feels elegant, calm, and rooted in place. It is ideal for travelers who want music by night, Europe by day, and a ship that keeps the journey seamless between stops. Review available cruises online. Uniworld Music of the Danube Offered on select Danube sailings in 2026 and 2027, the experience highlights the musical heritage of the region through moments such as Mozart and Strauss, organ music, Hungarian folk traditions, Salzburg’s storybook atmosphere, and the slower romance of river travel. It is refined, cultural, and ideal for travelers who want the destination and the music to move together. Checkout sailings with this offering. WHEN THE FESTIVAL, HOTEL, DINING PLAN, AND AFTERPARTY ALL SAIL TOGETHER. A music cruise is not just a cruise with a few concerts added. At its best, it is a floating festival where the ship becomes the venue, the hotel, the dining plan, the late-night lounge, the morning reset, and the transportation between destinations. You unpack once, follow the sound from room to room, and let the sea handle the scenery. For travelers who love the energy of a festival but do not love negotiating daily rides, separate dinner plans, hotel changes, and crowded exits after every show, a themed cruise can be the sweet spot. The music is the reason to go. The ease is the reason you enjoy it. Virgin Voyages Red Hot Sailing Club Red Hot Sailing Club Voyages will sail on July 4, 2027 & November 8, 2027. With adults-only energy, live performances, parties, special events, and Virgin’s music- culture roots, this sailing works especially well for couples, friend groups, milestone birthdays, and travelers who want nightlife, design-forward ship energy, and sea days in one place. Book the sailing that best matches your vibe.

GATHER WITH PURPOSE. MOVE WITH INTENTION. Let • the • Music • Move •You The best retreats create space for perspective, honest conversation, creative reset, and the kind of shared experience people remember long after they return home. They can also become a powerful way to spark new ideas, unlock creativity, and give your group room to think differently together. Whether the goal is to celebrate a milestone, reconnect a remote team, reward high performers, inspire creative work, or shape what comes next, the destination matters — but the design matters more. A retreat needs the right setting, pace, meals, privacy, and structure to keep the experience moving without feeling over- programmed. IJUS Travel helps groups move from “we should do something” to a retreat that is clear, elevated, and thoughtfully managed. We support destination selection, property and venue sourcing, room blocks, contract support, arrival flow, curated experiences, dining, transportation, guest communication, and the details that keep the trip seamless. Because this is the music issue, think beyond the meeting room. A retreat can include a live acoustic dinner, private DJ set, sound bath, songwriting workshop, local music crawl, rhythm circle, dance class, cultural performance, or curated playlist experience that becomes the emotional thread of the trip. The bonding experience does not have to be music-related to feel memorable. We can build in chef-led dinners, wellness sessions, art workshops, sailing days, vineyard tastings, adventure excursions, fireside conversations, spa resets, or destination-specific moments that help the group connect naturally. Start by telling us what you are dreaming about, what your group needs, and what kind of experience would feel meaningful. From there, IJUS Travel can help shape the retreat into something intentional, elevated, and manageable. Start your retreat request → bit.ly/IJUSRetreatIntakeForm RETREATS WITH RHYTHM
FOR FRIENDS, FAMILIES & FESTIVAL CREWS FROM “WHO’S IN?” TO WHEELS UP. OUT OF THE GROUP CHAT. INTO THE MUSIC. Some of the best music trips start with a shared obsession: the artist everyone loves, the festival you keep sending to the group chat, the cruise lineup that makes the whole crew say, “Wait…we should go.” When the music is the reason, the trip needs more than tickets. Your group needs dates, flights, rooms, payments, transfers, pre-show plans, recovery time, and someone keeping the whole experience moving without turning the group chat into a full-time job. IJUS Travel brings it all into one place so everyone can move at their own pace while still feeling part of the same experience. From festival weekends and music cruises to destination concerts and culture-rich escapes, we help turn the shared obsession into a trip your group can actually enjoy.
