ABOUT MEMy name is Krisha Lalien E. Eripol, a Psychology graduate from Central Philippine University and a recent registered psychometrician from the Philippines. Guided by a strong commitment to service, I was honored to serve as a University Scholar (AY 2022–2023) and a CHED CoScho Scholar (AY 2024– 2026). Beyond the classroom, my active involvement in Christian organization activities, community outreach, and psychological training deeply grounded my foundation in empathy, integrity, and meaningful service. My hands-on training at the CPU Elementary Guidance Office and the Department of Agriculture – Western Visayas Human Resource Office allowed me to translate psychological principles into practice, honing my skills in guidance support, student documentation, and recruitment processes across educational and organizational settings. As I step into my professional journey as a Certified Human Resource Associate (CHRA) and licensed professional, I am driven by a passion for continuous growth and a clear purpose: to leverage my background in psychology to uplift individuals, support healthy organizations, and serve communities with heart.Krisha Lalien E. FRESHMEN YEARACADEMIC YEAR 2022 - 2023JoiningaCampus ChristianOrganization My journey with the Central Philippine University (CPU) Gospel Team began with a desire to integrate my Christian faith with my academic journey in Psychology. For more than 90 years, the CPU Gospel Team has remained committed to its mission of sharing the Good News of God across Panay Island and other parts of the Philippines, including Mindoro, Palawan, Negros Occidental, and Romblon. Through its continuing ministry and community outreach, the organization seeks to spread the Gospel and extend God's love to people from different backgrounds and communities. This experience marked an important step in my journey of faith and service. It strengthened my desire to be part of something greater than myself, a community dedicated to bringing hope, extending compassion, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. As I continued my journey as a Psychology student and a member of the CPU Gospel Team, I aspired A commitment through Faith and Psychologyto use both my developing professional knowledge and my faith to serve individuals and communities with empathy, humility, and purpose. As an aspiring Christian Psychology practitioner, I was eager to become part of this ministry and its works, believing that my knowledge, skills, and faith could put together in serving others. I wanted to cultivate a deeper understanding of people while embodying the Christian values of love, kindness, compassion, and genuine care. For me, joining the CPU Gospel Team was not merely an opportunity to participate in a campus organization; it was an invitation to grow spiritually, develop aheart for service, and become more intentional in reaching out to others.the distribution of food and other essential aid, as well as medical missions conducted in collaboration with Central Philippine University and the CPU Gospel Team’s medical alumni team. These initiatives reflect the organization’s commitment to addressing not only the spiritual needs of communities but also their physical well-being. Through these efforts, the ministry demonstrates that sharing God’s love goes beyond words; it is expressed through compassionate service, tangible assistance, and a genuine commitment to the welfare of others. The Yellow Card Signing, held on May 23, 2023, symbolized my personal commitment to the continuing mission of God. Through this act, I affirmed my willingness to become a disciple who actively participates in sharing the Gospel, reaching underserved communities, and responding to the needs of others. Beyond evangelism, the ministry also extends practical assistance to communities through various outreach initiatives, including 6

Throughout the eight days, I experienced both the fulfillment and emotional challenges of community service. Listening to the stories and struggles of others sometimes left me emotionally vulnerable, reminding me of the importance of recognizing the limits of my own capacity to care. Nevertheless, these encounters deepened my appreciation for the courage it takes to share personal experiences and the value of providing a compassionate presence. Despite the challenges, my heart remained full, knowing that even small moments of connection could make a difference. Looking back, my first community outreach helped me build confidence, step beyond my comfort zone, and develop a deeper understanding of service. It taught me that reaching out to communities is not solely about sharing one's faith but also about extending compassion, fostering genuine connections, and allowing others to feel heard and valued. This experience became a meaningful foundation for my continuing journey of faith and community engagement, reinforcing my desire to serve others with empathy, patience, and a sincere heart. MY FIRST COMMUNITY EVANGELISTIC OUTREACH My first community outreach was a eight-day journey of faith, connection, and personal growth in Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental. From June 1 to 8, 2023, our team visited different communities across the city, creating opportunities to share the Gospel, build relationships, and listen to the experiences of the people we encountered. Each day brought us to a new area, reminding me that meaningful service goes beyond reaching out to others. It also requires a willingness to listen, understand, and meet people where they are. ACADEMIC YEAR 2022 - 2023 FRESHMEN YEAR on the other hand, required creativity, patience, and a more engaging way of communicating so that they could understand the message I wanted to share. These interactions taught me the importance of being intentional, adaptable, and sensitive when connecting with people of different ages and backgrounds. During the outreach, I was assigned to work with children and teenagers, which challenged me to adjust my approach according to their needs and understanding. With the teenagers, I engaged in meaningful conversations about their lives, experiences, and personal struggles while sharing the Good News of God. Working with children, 7

An Invitation Turned into a Meaningful PurposeBefore the beginning of my sophomore year, the CPU Gospel Team was invited to participate in a community outreach in Janiuay, Iloilo, on August 20, 2023. Our team presented interactive songs and performed a drama entitled “Ang Nadulman nga Amay,” translated into English as “The Lost Father.” Through these presentations, we sought to share the Gospel in an engaging and meaningful way while connecting with residents in a remote community. ACADEMIC YEAR 2023 - 2024 SOPHOMORE YEAR Reaching the designated area required a 20–35- minute walk, including crossing a river because our transportation could not proceed beyond that point. Despite the physical challenges of the journey, the experience became a meaningful reminder that community service often requires flexibility, perseverance, and a willingness to go beyond familiar surroundings to reach others. Beyond the presentations, we were given the opportunity to interact with community members, listen to their stories, and build connections through genuine conversations. These encounters reminded me that outreach is not solely about delivering a message but also about being present, listening attentively, and recognizing the experiences of the people we serve. Sharing the Gospel became an opportunity to foster meaningful connections and extend compassion through both words and actions. This experience strengthened my appreciation for community engagement and the importance of making service accessible even to those living in remote areas. It reinforced my commitment to serving with humility, adaptability, and empathy, recognizing that meaningful outreach begins with a sincere willingness to meet people where they are and connect with them on a human level. 8

Studio ShodweREACHING BEYOND URBAN COMMUNITIES Despite the difficulties, the experience deepened my sense of fulfillment in serving communities with limited access to resources. It strengthened my desire to continue engaging with people whose needs are often overlooked and reminded me that meaningful service requires both compassion and an awareness of the challenges they face. As a Psychology student guided by my faith, I became more determined to contribute to the well-being of others through empathy, understanding, and a willingness to serve beyond my comfort zone. Before the Christmas break in December 2023, the CPU Gospel Team conducted a four-day community outreach in Tapaz, Capiz, from December 18 to 21. The initiative aimed to reach communities in the area through fellowship, evangelism, and service. Among the outreach experiences I had participated in, this was one of the most physically and emotionally demanding. The rocky roads, considerable distances between communities, and scattered households presented challenges that required perseverance, adaptability, and a strong commitment to our purpose of reaching those in need. Beyond the challenges of reaching these communities, the experience broadened my understanding of the realities faced by people living in geographically isolated areas. I began to recognize that while faith can provide hope and encouragement, many communities also require access to essential services, including reliable transportation, mental health support, and other resources that contribute to their overall well-being. This realization encouraged me to look beyond the immediate purpose of our outreach and consider the broader circumstances that shape people's lives. SOPHOMORE YEARACADEMIC YEAR 2023 - 2024 During this outreach, I was once again assigned to work with children, which allowed me to continue developing my patience, creativity, and ability to engage with younger individuals. 9

My involvement in the Vacation Bible School deepened my appreciation for the importance of understanding child development when planning and facilitating activities for young learners. It taught me that creating a positive learning environment requires more than delivering information; it also involves making children feel welcomed, supported, and encouraged to participate. As a Psychology student, this experience allowed me to connect my academic understanding of developmental needs with practical engagement, strengthening my patience, adaptability, and commitment to supporting children's growth and well-being. Throughout June 2024, our church conducted its annual Vacation Bible School (VBS) every Saturday, providing children from different age groups with opportunities to learn, participate in activities, and develop their understanding of Christian teachings. Through this initiative, we were able to serve approximately 60 children, creating a welcoming environment where they could learn about faith while building connections with their peers and the volunteers. SummerVacationBible School-HopeGarden ACADEMIC YEAR 2023 - 2024 SOPHOMORE YEAR During the program, I was assigned to work with children ages 2–4, a developmental stage that requires particular attention to communication, engagement, and learning needs. My responsibilities called for creativity, patience, and careful preparation to ensure that the activities and presentations were appropriate for preschool-aged children. This experience challenged me to adapt my approach to their attention spans, levels of understanding, and ways of learning while encouraging their active participation in the activities. 10

Dumangas District Jail Outreach Among the outreach activities I participated in throughout my college journey, this experience was particularly emotional and meaningful. Listening to the individuals' stories encouraged me to look beyond their present circumstances and recognize the personal experiences that may have shaped their lives. It reminded me of the importance of approaching people without prejudice, allowing them to share their experiences, and treating each person with dignity and compassion. On December 11, 2024, the CPU Gospel Team conducted a community outreach at Dumangas District Jail as part of its continuing commitment to service and ministry. During the visit, our team distributed food packs and essential items, performed Christmas medleys, and facilitated small-group conversations with individuals in the facility. These interactions provided opportunities to listen to their personal stories, learn about their life experiences, and hear their testimonies in an atmosphere of respect and understanding.Through this experience, I gained a deeper appreciation for the role of empathy, active listening, and nonjudgmental engagement in serving others. It became a meaningful reminder that helping people begins with recognizing their humanity, understanding their stories, and approaching them with compassion and respect. ACADEMIC YEAR 2024 - 2025 JUNIOR YEAR This encounter further strengthened my desire to pursue a career in Psychology and contribute to the well-being of individuals from diverse backgrounds. It deepened my understanding that human behavior is influenced by various personal, social, and environmental factors, and that understanding a person's experiences is an important step toward providing appropriate support. More importantly, the outreach reinforced my belief that everyone deserves an opportunity to be heard and understood, regardless of their circumstances. 11

The convention broadened my perspective on the diverse applications of Psychology beyond clinical practice, human resources, and community-based work. It reinforced my understanding that the discipline encompasses a wide range of opportunities to understand human behavior, respond to people's needs, and contribute to individual and community development. Regardless of the professional setting, the responsible practice of Psychology requires empathy, respect for human dignity, and adherence to ethical standards. Psychological Association of the Philippines (PAP) Junior Affiliates – 38th Annual Convention The 38th Annual Convention of the Psychological Association of the Philippines (PAP), held on March 29–30, 2025, in Metro Manila, brought together psychology students and junior affiliates committed to advancing the discipline and contributing to the well-being of individuals and communities. Through the convention's talks and learning sessions, I gained a deeper appreciation of the importance of ethical practice, professional responsibility, and compassionate service as essential foundations for aspiring psychology practitioners. Participating in this convention was a valuable step in my professional development as a Psychology student. It encouraged me to look beyond academic learning and recognize the responsibility that comes with applying psychological knowledge in real-world settings. More importantly, the experience strengthened my commitment to pursuing a career grounded in ethical practice, lifelong learning, and meaningful service to others. VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL - THE GREATEST JOURNEY: SAMARITAN PURSEIn April 2025, our church conducted a two-week Summer Vacation Bible School, providing children with opportunities to learn, participate in faith-based activities, and strengthen their understanding of Christian teachings. Through this initiative, we also became recipients of The Greatest Journey, a discipleship program associated with Samaritan’s Purse, an international humanitarian organization. The program complemented our ministry's efforts to nurture children's faith and encourage their spiritual growth. This experience allowed me to further develop my ability to connect with children, communicate in age-appropriate ways, and respond to their needs with patience and understanding. It reinforced the importance of creating a welcoming environment where children feel valued, supported, and encouraged to participate. More importantly, the experience reminded me that seemingly simple acts of kindness, when offered with sincerity and compassion, can contribute to a child's sense of belonging and leave a lasting impression.Throughout the activity, we engaged with children through learning activities, fellowship, and expressions of care. On the final day, we held a graduation ceremony to recognize their participation and celebrate the completion of the program. The occasion also provided an opportunity to share gifts and create meaningful memories with the children, reflecting the importance of encouragement, generosity, and community involvement in their development. Through this outreach, I continued to integrate my Christian faith with my developing knowledge of Psychology, recognizing the value of nurturing children's emotional, social, and spiritual well- being. It strengthened my appreciation for child- centered service and reaffirmed my commitment to supporting children's growth through empathy, encouragement, and meaningful engagement. ACADEMIC YEAR 2024 - 2025 JUNIOR YEAR 13

As part of the CPU Gospel Team's continuing mission, our organization conducted a community outreach in Estancia, Iloilo, from June 5 to 8, 2025. Through dance and drama presentations, we sought to share the Gospel in an engaging and meaningful way while building connections with members of the local community. Beyond the performances, we had opportunities to interact with residents, listen to their diverse life experiences, and learn from the stories they shared. Through these interactions, I gained a greater awareness of how meaningful conversations and shared experiences can foster connection across different backgrounds.
