Wait for me! – he said while he ran. She saw him and ran quickly. Kyle met Clarisse last autumn. They had agreed to meet at the beach in the afternoon, but Kyle arrived late. So, we ran together, then we walked along the infinite beach of California. Elena always said that the beach is magical! The glass beach has thousands of colorful sea glass crystals that wait patiently day, afternoon, and night, and next season. With the same patience, they wait for people because they cannot move on their own.Story at the Crystal Beach.

Night was falling. It was their last night on vacation. He had never been to Glass Beach; it was his first and last day there. He wanted to take a crystal, but that was impossible! She told him, " You can look at and touch it at any time during the visit, but you cannot put it in your pocket”. When she finished speaking, it started to rain, so they ran, searching for a haven. They ran, but the rain was heavier than their force. They got wet, and they preferred dancing in the rain; also, it was their last night and last dance. They were tired and sat down on the sand to plan the return home, although none of them wanted to leave. The place was completely silent, but they saw a flicker of light inside the forest next to the beach. They were wet, and they needed warmth. None of them had seen it before; however, they had no other option but to walk toward the light, hopeful and tired. The way wasn’t a bed of roses because it was a dirt track. Inside the forest, they couldn't see well; they had to put their feet down, so they took off their shoes.

They walked and walked for a long time. Their clothes dried, but even so, they didn’t reach the haven. During the night, they saw a dog that looked lost. It had a badge on its neck: “Chaz”. The dog knew the pathway, so they walked behind it. Then they arrived there quickly with Chaz. In the haven, there was nobody, but the flicker of light was coming from there. So, suddenly, a laugh was heard, and A short woman appeared, with a Mexican-looking appearance, and she asked: do you want some tea? Kyle and Clarisse were amazed because the woman was kind. She said that it was dangerous to walk at night here.

They slowly drank their tea; they couldn't believe where they were. Later, Kyle and Clarissa felt very sleepy and fell asleep. The next morning they woke up, hungry and tired; the teacups were gone, as was that woman. For a moment, they thought it had been a dream. Then Chaz appeared, wagging his tail everywhere. The three of them left the cave, but the path had disappeared. The rain had washed it away. They could only rely on what they had once learned in science class to find their way. They drew several routes on the ground, with the little they could remember. Chaz moved his body as if he knew them; he was the only one who had already been there. When they finally chose a route, the birds in the forest started singing, the place filled with colors like at Crystal Beach, and a strong wind began to catch them and make them dance. They thought, today is the last morning here. The time was never the same. But they weren't sure of the way. They started walking and walking; the weather began to change ….

The sky darkened, the birds disappeared, the colors faded, the breeze smelled like the sea. They weren't far from the beach, they thought. Chaz returned from a short walk with more strength and confidence. It was already ready to guide them. Very slowly, it started to look like something. Inside a tree, there was a little door, and they were bigger. Automatically, they became small, and they entered. They slid down quickly and fell onto the Glass beach. They shook the sand off their eyes and clothes, and they couldn't stop laughing because everything was incredible. The sea glass had the same color as always, but they had changed. That day was his last morning at Crystal Beach. A little dog had accompanied them on a fun adventure, and they were safe. Suddenly, friends, their parents, and neighbors showed up, because they hadn’t wasted two days; a whole year had gone by since they arrived. So it was true: the cave, the dog, the path- “it wasn't just a story”. THE END.
