01 Nola Blue Note Lounge 7 weeks | New Orleans, Louisiana | Airport Lounge Bar/Jazz Stage Perspective Design an Airport Lounge that serves as a multi- functional space for relaxation, recreation, sleeping, and working. This space should provide comfort, privacy, and accessibility, addressing the needs of a variety of travelers, including those looking to rest, work, or relax during long layovers or waiting times.
Concept: The NOLA Blue Note Lounge is inspired by the atmospheric ex- perience of live jazz within the French Quarter in New Orleans, which translates its spatial and sensory qualities into an engag- ing airport environment. Designed for the bleisure traveler, the lounge supports a transition between productivity and relaxation spaces. The design draws from the structure and improvisation of jazz, using spatial sequencing to create moments of rhythm, movement, and flow. Dining Area Perspective The result is a dynamic environment where travelers can shift between states of focus and reflection, immersed in an atmo- sphere of intimacy and contrast. 02 The Guilded Threshold 5 weeks | London, England, United Kingdom | Luxury Hotel Hotel Lobby Perspective Design a fashion-inspired one-of-a-kind luxury hotel experience incorporating sustainable products and/or practices. The hotel is envisioned as an immersive sanctuary where fashion, luxury, and sustainability seamlessly converge to create an unforgetta- ble guest experience. Every space - from the lobby to the guest rooms - invites visitors into a curated world shaped by the spirit and aesthetic of a chosen fashion icon. The design embraces bold expression, sensory richness, and narrative depth, encouraging guests to explore environments that are as inspiring as they are comfortable. Ultimately, the hotel aims to become a destination for travelers seeking beauty, cre- ativity, and cultural resonance, offering a level of refinement and individuality that reflects the discerning vision of its investor. The Gilded Threshold is a hotel inspired by Princess Diana. Princess Diana was known to be very classy and elegant but had a side to her that was very fun and rebellious. This hotel mimics her elegance while also breaking rules to make it a unique, luxurious hotel experience for guests. My concept is based off of compression and release which inspires my parti diagram and way finding around the hotel. The center and main attraction of the hotel is the water fountain, an elegant dis- play. Expanding and releasing off of the fountain is where the rest of the hotel creates a unique experience for guests. Concept: Final Parti Diagram Parti Iteration Process Materials

03 Malu Leadership Center 2 weeks | San Diego, California | Arctobell Group Competition Classroom Render In this two-week design challenge, you will work in teams of three - to reimagine a shared learning space within a school building—such as a breakout area, media center, collaboration zone, or transitional space. Your design must be grounded in the perspective of a specific student persona. Rather than designing for a generic user, you will de- sign from the lived experience of one student, translating their needs into intentional spatial, furniture, and material decisions.
Maleko’s Pacific Islander heritage reflects the spatial layout, using the metaphor of pacific islands zones to organize educational zones of autonomy, collaboration, and emotional regulation. Modular furniture mirrors the adaptability of island formations, allowing the space to shift in response to Maleko’s autonomy- driven learning style. Grounded in biophilic elements, wood textures, greens and blues, and ambient lighting, the environment balances energy with structure, supporting impulse regulation while celebrating creativity. I also helped develop the concept and came up with our parti to help with our zoning.
