Rooted in the everyday lives of artisan and working communities, it evolved as an affordable yet culturally significant form of adornment. Artisans hand-form, hammer, engrave and polish ornaments such as neck rings, earrings, bangles, anklets and nose rings. Valuing form, durability and cultural symbolism over ornamentation, the craft continues to preserve Delhi’s traditional metalworking heritage.
