I am a student who enjoys expressing thoughts and emotions through writing. I may not consider myself a perfect writer, but I believe that every writer begins with a simple idea and the courage to put it into words. For me, writing is a way to understand myself, connect with others, and turn ordinary experiences into meaningful stories. About the Author

Poem 1: “Tomorrow” Yesterday may have left a scar, And today may feel unclear, But somewhere beyond the dark, There is a reason to persevere. The road may not be easy, And dreams may take some time, But every step, however small, Can lead us to the finish line. So when the world feels heavy, And hope begins to fade, Remember that tomorrow Is another chance you’ve made. Keep walking, keep believing, Even when you cannot see. For sometimes the brightest future Begins with simply choosing to be.

Poem 2: “A Friend Like You” Some friends arrive like morning light, Making ordinary days feel bright. They listen when words are hard to say, And somehow make the pain go away. We laugh about the simplest things, And share the dreams that tomorrow brings. Though time may change and distance grow, Some friendships never truly go. If someday our paths separate, And memories become all we have left, I hope you remember, wherever you are, You were once a light in my darkest part

FICTION Short Story: “The Last Seat” Every morning, Mia sat in the same seat near the window. It was the last seat in the classroom, where she could quietly watch the trees outside. She rarely talked to anyone. Her classmates knew her as the quiet girl who always carried a notebook. One Monday morning, a new student named Alex entered the classroom. The only available seat was beside Mia. “Hi,” Alex said with a smile. Mia simply nodded. For the next few days, Alex tried to talk to her. Mia slowly began answering. Eventually, they started sharing stories, jokes, and even their dreams for the future. One afternoon, Mia noticed that Alex was unusually quiet. “Are you okay?” she asked. Alex looked down. “I don’t think I belong here.” Mia smiled. “I used to think the same thing.” Alex looked at her. “You don’t have to fit in everywhere,” Mia continued. “Sometimes, you just need one person who makes you feel like you belong.” Alex smiled. Years later, Mia returned to that classroom. The seats had changed, the walls had been repainted, and new students occupied the room. But she remembered the last seat near the window. She realized that sometimes, the smallest moments can become the biggest memories. And sometimes, friendship begins with nothing more than an empty seat

SCRIPT Original Script: “One More Chance” Characters: • Lia – a hardworking student • Sam – Lia’s best friend • Teacher – their teacher Scene 1 – Classroom Lia: I don’t think I can do this anymore. Sam: What happened? Lia: I failed my exam. I studied so hard, but it still wasn’t enough. Sam: One failed exam doesn’t mean you’re a failure. Lia: But what if I keep failing? Sam: Then you try again. Lia: What if I fail again? Sam: Then we learn from it and try again. (Lia smiles slightly.) Teacher: Lia, may I talk to you? Lia: Yes, Ma’am. Teacher: I saw how hard you worked. Don’t let one result define your ability. Lia: Thank you, Ma’am. Teacher: You still have another chance. Use it. (Lia looks at Sam and smiles.) Lia: You’re right. I’ll try again. Sam: That’s the spirit. Scene 2 – A Few Weeks Later (Lia receives her exam paper.) Lia: Sam! Sam: What? Lia: I passed! Sam: I knew you could do it! (They laugh.) Lia: I learned something. Sam: What? Lia: Sometimes, success isn’t about never failing. It’s about refusing to give up. —END

MULTIMEDIA WORK Poetry Video: “Tomorrow” For my multimedia work, I would create a short poetry video based on my poem “Tomorrow.” Concept The video will show a student experiencing sadness, doubt, and failure. As the poem progresses, the scenes will gradually change from dark and lonely moments to brighter scenes that represent hope. Visuals • Walking alone • Looking through a classroom window • Studying at night • Writing in a notebook • Sunrise • Walking toward an open road Background Music Soft and emotional instrumental music. Message The video will show that difficult moments do not define our entire lives. There is always another day and another chance to begin again.

AUTHOR’S REFLECTION 1. What did I learn while creating my digital portfolio? I learned that writing takes patience, creativity, and effort. I also learned that a good piece of writing does not always come out perfectly on the first try. It takes several drafts and revisions before it becomes better. 2. Which literary work am I most proud of and why? I am most proud of my short story, “The Last Seat,” because it shows how a simple moment can lead to a meaningful friendship. It also reminds me that sometimes, people need someone who makes them feel that they belong. 3. What challenges did I encounter? One of my biggest challenges was thinking of original ideas and finding the right words to express them. I also struggled with organizing my thoughts and making sure that each piece had a clear message. 4. How did ICT help me improve the presentation of my work? ICT helped me make my portfolio more creative and organized. Through digital tools, I was able to combine text, pictures, colors, videos, and other elements to make my work more interesting and visually appealing. 5. How did my writing change throughout the project? My writing became more organized and meaningful as I continued working on the project. I learned to revise my work instead of immediately considering my first draft as the final version. I also became more confident in expressing my ideas. 6. What kind of writer do I want to become? I want to become a writer who can make people feel something through words. I want my writing to inspire, entertain, and connect with readers. Most importantly, I want to become a writer who is not afraid to tell stories that matter
