Best regards, Kirsty Hague Design Director Hague Dental SuppliesCRISTINA SIMONFEE PROPOSALSEP 2026 Dear Cristina Thank you for the opportunity to present this design fee proposal for your potential ground floor refurbishment at your practice in Sheffield. Our meeting on Tuesday 25 August was insightful, and we look forward to working with you to explore design solutions for initially for the spatial layout to add a potential surgery and a CBCT room and then moving forward to explore the interior design of this new area. th At Hague, we believe every refurbishment project is an opportunity to create a unique and personalised environment that reflects your vision for the practice — both now and into the future. Our comprehensive approach ensures that every detail is thoughtfully considered, carefully planned, and delivered to the highest standard. I look forward to catching up and hopefully get the initial site survey booked in. 4
Cristina and Arpad recently took over Element Dental in Sheffield. The practice’s surgeries are currently located across the first and second floors. With a large reception and waiting area on the ground floor, they would like to explore how this space could be reconfigured to accommodate an additional, more accessible ground-floor surgery and a dedicated CBCT room. They are also interested in developing the interior styling for the new space. The design concept should create a comfortable, relaxed and welcoming environment that feels considered and contemporary, without appearing overly premium. PROJECT OVERVIEW 5
OUR PROCESS To provide a clear roadmap for your project, here is a detailed overview of each phase of the design process that typically needs to be considered, alongside a run-through of the services we can provide and the work involved at each stage. This will ensure that you have a clear understanding of the process and where we can support you, from the initial concept through to procurement and delivery. PHASE 01 PHASE 02 2D SPATIAL PLANNING The foundation of any successful project is a well-considered layout. At this stage, room requirements, clinical workflows, patient journeys, accessibility, equipment positioning and future growth should all be considered. We can develop a practical 2D spatial plan that makes effective use of the available space and provides a clear basis for the design stages that follow. INTERIOR CONCEPT DESIGN Once the layout is established, the creative direction of the practice can be developed. This phase considers the desired look and feel, colour palette, materials, finishes, lighting, furniture and patient experience. We can bring these elements together through moodboards and 3D visualisations, enabling you to understand and refine the proposed design before progressing. 6CRISTINA SIMONFEE PROPOSALSEP 2026Example of a 3D Visualisation - Pure Periodontics, Mayfair - Practice RelocationExample of 2D Spatial Planning Layouts
CRISTINA SIMONFEE PROPOSALSEP 2026PHASE 03 PHASE 04 PHASE 05 DESIGN SPECIFICATION Following approval of the concept, each element must be clearly selected and specified. This includes flooring, wall and ceiling finishes, lighting, furniture, fittings, accessories and feature details. We can develop a coordinated room-by-room specification through our Hague Design Client & Trade Portal, giving you and your project team a clear reference for selections, costs and approvals. TECHNICAL DESIGN The approved design must then be translated into clear technical information for the contractor. This may include General Arrangement plans, reflected ceiling and lighting plans, internal elevations, furniture layouts and bespoke joinery details. We can produce a coordinated contractor pack that supports accurate pricing, reduces uncertainty and helps ensure design delivery as intended. PROCUREMENT & DELIVERY Once the design and specifications are approved, products must be sourced, ordered and delivered in line with the project programme. This requires careful management of budgets, lead times, suppliers and installation dates. We can manage procurement, supplier liaison, delivery coordination, installation, styling and final handover, providing a seamless route from the approved design to the completed practice. ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS Depending on the nature, location and scope of your project, additional design or specialist support may be required. Identifying these requirements early helps to avoid delays and ensures they can be coordinated with the wider design programme. Shopfront Design: Exterior concept design, signage, window graphics and privacy manifestation to create a coordinated first impression. Practice Branding: Development of a new or existing brand identity, including logos, colours, typography and application across the practice. Planning & Statutory Approvals: Planning permission, advertisement consent, Building Regulations or landlord approvals may be required before work begins. Specialist Services: Architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical or CDM support may be needed depending on the complexity of the project. These services can be added where required and will be scoped and quoted separately. 7Example of Lighting and Finishes SpecificationExample of Technical Lighting Layout Drawing
