I believe that successful outdoor and indoor spaces should feel intuitive, balanced, and reflect the raw beauty of natural ecosystems. With a strong focus on botany and ecological planning, I seek to translate the poetry of the wilderness into clean, minimalist designs. My goal is to create harmonious green interventions that are not only visually captivating but also ecologically functional and resilient.

HORNÍ KOSOV— Village Square This academic project focuses on the redesign of the historic village green in Horní Kosov, a part of Jihlava in the Vysočina Region. A historic chapel stands at the center of the site, but it is heavily restricted by surrounding car traffic. Currently, the space lacks a clear public function and serves mainly as a bare lawn. The vegetation consists only of randomly placed trees planted over time by local residents. Because of this, the area misses a clear structure and fails to reflect its true genius loci or historical value. The design aims to reduce the impact of vehicular traffic and create a calm pedestrian area around the chapel. By adding thoughtful functions and a new spatial layout, the project revives the space and restores its unique spirit of place. Supervisor: Mgr. Ing. LEDNICE— Arizona This academic project focuses on the restoration of the neglected „Arizona“ section within Lednice Park, a key component of the UNESCO- listed Lednice-Valtice Cultural Landscape in South Moravia. Currently forgotten, the site has lost its historical identity and former spatial appeal. The restoration concept relies heavily on detailed historical analysis, synthesizing archival photographs and early orthophotomaps to reconstruct its original character. By bridging rigorous historical research with modern ecological planning, the proposal seeks to reactivate this unique zone, restoring both its functional vitality and visual prominence within the historic park fabric. ZNOJMO — Wellspring and waterfront A A´ The design for the historic spring embraces a natural approach, starting with the reconstruction of the degraded access path to ensure full accessibility for pedestrians and families with strollers. The immediate forecourt of the spring is enhanced to allow comfortable water collection while respecting the historic source and its natural setting. Integrated wooden seating provides a peaceful resting spot for visitors. To handle the complex terrain, an open water feature channels the spring overflow, allowing it to naturally dissipate into the surrounding greenery while serving as an engaging, interactive landscape element. PROSTĚJOV — Green Ring This academic project focuses on the southern green ring of Prostějov, located in the Olomouc Region. The main goal is to soften the transition between the city and the surrounding farmland. The design improves the quality of the landscape and restores balance to the area. By adding a network of cycling and walking paths, the proposal makes the countryside accessible to local residents. These new routes support daily mobility and offer space for outdoor recreation. PROSTĚJOV — Green ring While the municipality initially commissioned a detailed layout for a specific segment of Prostě- jov’s green ring, a overarching concept connecting the southern and northern sectors was absent. Addressing this, our team developed a compre- hensive master plan that expands the scope to integrate a forest park and dedicated sports faci- lities, seamlessly tying into the existing northern green belt. The framework is unified by a continuous pe- destrian and bicycle route flanked by rich vegeta- tion, punctuated by varied stopping points and ac- tivity hubs designed to prevent spatial monotony. Furthermore, the strategy considers the broader landscape surrounding Prostějov, particularly the expansive, ecologically depleted agricultural fields to the south. To strengthen ecological functionality beyond the TSES, our design incorporates supple- mentary landscape features, including new tree alleys, windbreaks, and an additional biocenter co- nnected to Phase 1. In immediate proximity to the southern belt’s de- velopment phases, the proposal shifts conventional farming toward organic agriculture. This transition mitigates soil erosion while establishing a gentle, harmonious landscape gradient between intensive arable fields and the recreational green corridor. PROSTĚJOV — Green ring Stage 1 connects on its western side to Stage 3 and on its eastern side to Stage 1–Part 1, both of which have completed designs by other architects. To the south, it integrates with a proposed biocenter. The design emphasizes a natural character, prioritizing spatial openness and flexible land use. A shared cycle path and pedestrian route traverse the site, seamlessly connecting to adjacent network routes. The layout incorporates open spaces for relaxation, play, and informal gatherings, alongside a forest kindergarten and a central plaza dominated by vibrant modular containers hosting refreshments and cultural events. Tree groupings vary in density to open up framed views toward the open countryside, while wildflower meadows enrich the overall aesthetic and strengthen local biodiversity. SLAVKOV U BRNA — Strategic Landscape Plan This academic project develops a comprehensive landscape plan for Slavkov u Brna in South Moravia, aiming to identify and mitigate key environmental vulnerabilities. The proposal addresses soil erosion, flood risk, and green infrastructure deficits through targeted ecological solutions. Design interventions navigate complex historical constraints, notably the town‘s formal Baroque spatial composition and the surrounding Slavkov Battlefield Landscape Monument Zone. Balancing strict heritage protection with climate adaptation, the strategy harmonizes landscape preservation with functional green infrastructure. Supervisor: doc. Dr. Ing. Alena Salašová School year: 1/2, Master’s studies Contribution: 100% Completed: 05/2026Slavkov u Brna

SLAVKOV U BRNA — Strategic Landscape plan The landscape plan for Slavkov u Brna primarily targets severe soil erosion caused by steep slopes and intensive arable farming. Critical slope areas are converted into permanent grasslands, orchards, and resilient land uses, reinforced by tree alleys, biogroups, and field margins to enhance rainfall infiltration. Water management also addresses the southern sector along the regulated Litava River, where industrial faci- lities sit within the active flood zone. To mitigate flash flood risks, selected structures were removed, enabling controlled discharge upstream into seasonally inunda- ted meadows to reduce peak flows entering the urban area. Additionally, the proposal restores and preserves the historic compositional axes radiating from the Slavkov Chateau into the open landscape, protecting their spa- tial footprint from future degradation. ŽĎÁR NAD SÁZAVOU — Landscape study This landscape study proposes the comprehensive revitalization of an urban park in Žďár nad Sázavou, located in the Vysočina Region. Situated near the historic city center along the Sázava River, the project restores the site‘s functional role and ecological value for local residents. Seamlessly integrated into the regional network via an adjacent cycling path, the proposal transforms the underutilized green space into an active, accessible, and inviting public park. The design carefully balances active recreational zones with quiet, natural areas that respect the riverfront ecosystem. By introducing resilient planting and clear spatial structure, the park is re-established as a sustainable green anchor for the community. Supervisor: Mgr. Ing. Lucie Radilová DiS. ŽĎÁR NAD SÁZAVOU — Landscape study Libušín park The primary objective of the proposal is to preserve the natural character and genius loci of the iconic hill at the park‘s center, a traditio- nal venue for Passion plays. The new circulation network logistically co- nnects all entry points, offering visitors alter- native walking routes away from the main cycle path along the river. The park incorporates di- verse amenities, notably play features hidden in the western sector, along the new aquatic biotope, on the forested slope, and near the café—including an inclusive playground for chil- dren with mobility impairments. Additionally, tranquil spaces are created for nearby senior residents. The vegetation management plan removes unhealthy trees while introducing extensive new plantings to establish a dense, forest-like canopy in the surrounding areas. PREŠOV — Architectural Competition This landscape proposal responds to an architectural competition aimed at revitalizing the neglected Old Town Park (Staromestský park) in Prešov, located in the Prešov Region. Situated near both the historic city center and the main railway station, the site was long overgrown with unmanaged self-sown vegetation and devoid of clear functionality. The design transforms this underutilized urban area into an attractive public destination enriched with culture and art. By reinterpreting a historical water feature, the proposal restores the park‘s identity while integrating new community functions. The strategic removal of invasive growth opens up crucial visual corridors and restores natural light to the site. Additionally, the water element enhances the local microclimate while creating a soothing acoustic buffer against surrounding traffic. The result is an accessible green space that seamlessly bridges cultural expression with everyday city life. Supervisor: Ing. Ondřej Remeš (Atelier Typha) Co-authors: Lenka Bieliková, Michal Tkáč Contribution: 25% (CAD base maps, Planting Design, Sectional view) Completed: 05/2026 Prešov
