However, as I learned more about its objectives and activities, I realized that it is designed to prepare students to become responsible and active members of society. NSTP encourages us to develop leadership, teamwork, discipline, and a willingness to help others. These qualities are essential because they allow us to contribute positively to our communities and become better citizens.Understanding the background and legal foundation of NSTP, particularly Republic Act No. 9163, gave me a deeper appreciation of why community service and civic engagement are emphasized in college. It reminded me that every Filipino has a role in promoting peace, safety, and development. This program has inspired me to become more socially aware and to use my knowledge and skills to make a difference, even through simple acts of kindness and volunteerism. Ibelieve the lessons I gain from NST will continue to guide me as I face future responsibilities in both my personal and professional life. GROUP NO., NAME & POSITION: 1-AUXILIUMPOPULI-DOCUMENTARY CLASS CODE: 405 DATE: June 27, 2026 INSIGHTS/LEARNING Our group activity challenged us to create and present a poster that reflects the values and mission of NSTP and Holy Angel University. We named our group Auxilium Populi, which means "Help for the People." Through our poster, we wanted to show that true service begins with awareness, faith, integrity, excellence, and a genuine desire to help others. The symbols in our poster each have a meaningful purpose. The eye represents awareness and reminds us to be observant of the needs of our community. The wings symbolize our responsibility to uplift, guide, and support others through acts of service. The halo reminds us that our actions should always be guided by what is right and by our faith. The cross at the center of the eye represents keeping Christ at the center of everything we do, while the four core values—Faith, Integrity, Excellence, and Service, it serve as the foundation of our actions as Holy Angel University students. While preparing and presenting our poster, I realized that NSTP is more than just a subject or a school requirement. It has taught us that serving others starts with understanding their needs and taking action with compassion and sincerity. Our discussions and presentation also helped me appreciate how the university's vision and mission shape us into responsible, disciplined, and service-oriented individuals. This activity made me reflect on my own role as a student and as a member of the community. I learned that leadership is not only about leading people but also about becoming someone who is willing to help, listen, and inspire others through good character and positive actions. Even simple acts of kindness can create a meaningful impact when they are done with a sincere heart. Overall, this activity strengthened my understanding of the true meaning of service. It reminded me that faith and good values should always guide my decisions and actions. As a member of Auxilium Populi, I hope to continue living by the values of faith, integrity, excellence, and service, and to become a person who genuinely serves others with humility, compassion, and responsibility. GROUP 1 - AUXILIUM POPULI NATIONAL SERVICE TRAINING PROGRAM (CWTS) JOURNALWORKSHEETNO.4 NAME: PABUSTAN, JANELLE A. GROUP NO., NAME & POSITION: 1-AUXILIUMPOPULI-DOCUMENTARY CLASS CODE: 405 DATE: July 4, 2026 INSIGHTS/LEARNING During our classroom activity, our group performed two different skits that taught us important values about leadership and being a good Filipino. Both activities helped us understand that our actions, no matter how simple, can make a positive difference in the lives of others. The first skit was entitled "Ang Tunay na Serbisyo Publiko," where we portrayed Mayor Vico Sotto as a role model. We chose him because he is known for his honesty, transparency, accountability, and dedication to serving the people. In our skit, we showed how he listens to the concerns of the community, responds to their needs, and encourages everyone to work together for positive change. Through this performance, I realized that a true leader is not someone who only holds a position but someone who leads with integrity, responsibility, and compassion. Good leadership means putting the needs of others first and serving with sincerity. The second activity was a role-playing scenario about helping a classmate in need, which demonstrated Filipino values such as kindness, helpfulness, and respect. In our scenario, a classmate accidentally dropped her books in the hallway, and another student immediately helped her pick them up. Later, some students made fun of the classmate, but another student stood up for her and reminded everyone that helping others is the right thing to do. This activity showed us that being kind is not only about offering help but also about standing up for what is right and treating others with respect. Overall, these activities taught me that being a good leader and a good person starts with simple acts of kindness, honesty, and service. Whether we are helping a classmate or serving an entire community, our actions reflect our values and character. I learned that I can become a role model in my own way by showing respect, helping others without expecting anything in return, and making responsible decisions every day. These lessons inspired me to practice these values not only in school but also in my daily life. CANLAS, JUAN CARLOS MORALES, ZACHARY CUNANAN, CLARENCE LUIGI ORTALIZ, JARELLE KER LUMIBAO, MA. The barangay secretary politely accommodated my request and willingly explained the barangay's development plans. This showed me that the officials value transparency and are dedicated to informing residents about ongoing and future projects that will benefit the community. Barangay San Francisco, Magalang, Pampanga is a peaceful community that continues to improve through various development projects. According to the barangay secretary, the barangay is focusing on improving roads in different sitios to make transportation safer and more convenient for residents. Recently, additional CCTV cameras and solar- powered street lights have been installed to enhance public safety and security. The barangay also implements Patatag Municipal Ordinance No. 24, which promotes proper waste segregation to maintain a clean and healthy environment. Furthermore, the barangay has pending requests to higher government agencies for the construction of a daycare center and a basketball court. GROUP NO., NAME & POSITION: 1-AUXILIUMPOPULI-DOCUMENTARY CLASS CODE: 405 DATE: August 1, 2026 What are the things that will make you feel at ease despite school loads? How are you personally handling mental stress? Despite my school workload, I feel at ease whenever I spend time with my boyfriend. He is one of the people who makes me feel happy and comfortable, especially when I am feeling stressed or overwhelmed. We sometimes go out to enjoy nature, take walks, or eat together. These moments help me relax and take my mind off school responsibilities for a while. Personally, I handle mental stress by opening up to my boyfriend about my problems and worries. I tell him the things that are bothering me, whether they are related to school, personal matters, or other challenges I am facing. Talking to him helps me feel lighter because I know that someone is listening and supporting me. His encouragement, understanding, and presence help me stay positive during difficult times. Aside from that, I also pray to God and ask for His guidance whenever I feel stressed, confused, or overwhelmed. Prayer gives me strength, comfort, and hope. It helps me trust that everything happens for a reason and that I can overcome challenges with faith and perseverance. By spending time with my loved ones, sharing my feelings, and relying on God’s guidance, I am able to cope with stress and continue moving forward despite the pressures of school and daily life. GROUP NO., NAME & POSITION: 1-AUXILIUMPOPULI-DOCUMENTARY CLASS CODE: 405 DATE: August 8, 2026 During our NSTP breakout session, our group was assigned to discuss the social issue of street children. We brainstormed about the challenges that many street children face in the Philippines, such as poverty, lack of education, hunger, and exposure to abuse and exploitation. As part of our discussion, I shared information about Republic Act No. 9208, also known as the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2003. This law protects children from trafficking, exploitation, forced labor, and other forms of abuse. We learned that street children are among the most vulnerable members of society because they often lack proper protection and support. Our group also discussed possible solutions to this issue. We agreed that the government and local communities should strengthen child protection and rehabilitation programs, provide access to education and shelter, and help families through livelihood assistance. These actions can reduce the number of children living or working on the streets and give them a better future. Through this activity, I realized that street children need understanding, protection, and opportunities rather than judgment. The discussion helped me become more aware of the importance of supporting programs and laws that protect children's rights and welfare. The Kumustahan Session helped me reflect on how prepared I am for emergencies and how I can contribute to the safety of my family and community. During the discussion, I learned the importance of flood preparedness, staying informed, and taking action before disasters happen. The session reminded me that preparedness is not only the responsibility of authorities but also of every individual. As I reflected on the question, "How are you?", I realized that I am doing well and continuously learning how to become a more responsible citizen. The session made me more aware of the risks brought by floods and the importance of being prepared at all times. It encouraged me to think about the safety of my family and how I can help during emergencies. As my form of action for humanity, I prepared an emergency kit for my family. The kit contains essential supplies such as bottled water, canned goods, face masks, a flashlight, and other necessities that may be needed during floods or emergencies. Through this activity, I learned that even simple actions can make a difference in ensuring the safety and well-being of others. Preparing the emergency kit also helped me understand the value of responsibility and readiness. If a disaster occurs, being prepared can reduce panic and help families respond more effectively. This activity showed me that helping the community starts at home, and every small effort contributes to building a safer and more resilient society. Overall, the Kumustahan Session inspired me to become more aware, prepared, and proactive. As an NSTP student, I will continue to practice preparedness, share what I have learned with my family, and participate in activities that promote safety and community welfare. Through these actions, I hope to contribute positively to my family, community, and society.

Rosario, Angeles City FM-CES 4020 Rev. 1 Effectivity Date: February 13, 2020 SWOT ANALYSIS SWOT Analysis is a useful tool that helps individuals, organizations, and communities understand their current situation before making plans. SWOT stands for Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats. It helps identify internal factors such as strengths and weaknesses, as well as external factors such as opportunities and threats. Through SWOT Analysis, people can better understand their situation and make wiser decisions. From the ppt slides and module, I learned that strengths are the positive qualities and resources that can help achieve goals, while weaknesses are areas that need improvement. Opportunities are external factors that can be used for growth and development, while threats are challenges that may affect success. Understanding these factors allows individuals and organizations to prepare better plans and strategies. As a Civil Engineering student, I can apply SWOT Analysis in my studies and personal development. For example, my strengths may include determination and willingness to learn, while my weaknesses may include areas where I still need improvement. Opportunities may include scholarships, educational resources, and training programs, while threats may include financial challenges and academic pressures. By identifying these factors, I can create better plans to achieve my goals. Overall, SWOT Analysis is an effective tool because it helps people become more aware of their situation and make informed decisions. It encourages critical thinking, planning, and problem-solving. Through this lesson, I realized that understanding both positive and negative factors is important in achieving success and overcoming challenges.
