Its main goal is to encourage us to serve our local communities. Through various activities, we learn that even simple acts of kindness can improve other people's lives. I believe NSTP is important because it builds good values, helps us understand community needs, and reminds us that everyone can contribute to society. Learning about the history and laws of NSTP showed me why it is a required subject. Making it mandatory is a good idea because it helps young Filipinos stay aware of national issues and community needs. I realized that being a good citizen means more than just following the law; it means actively helping others and supporting our country's growth. Overall, I am glad that the Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS) gives me the chance to serve my community through meaningful activities.

I understood that bayanihan was about working together as helpers. In doing bayanihan, we help each other without expecting anything from the other person in return, bayanihan is about being there for each other as helpers. I learned also about resilience. Resilience is the key reason why Filipinos stay hopeful even if their experiences are challenging. I learned that bayanihan and resilience can be practiced through small efforts like helping my classmates or being respectful. Every student has the chance to demonstrate these attributes by being responsible, helpful, and trying hard to contribute to the improvement of the school and the community.

There can be several practical ways in which a youth can make a difference by participating in clean-ups, helping out, and motivating other people to do so as well. Leadership and teamwork qualities were also observed in this process. This discussion gave me inspiration to engage in community activities and programs aimed at helping others. It is true that collective efforts may bring some results even from seemingly insignificant actions. This approach will be applied by me through volunteering, engagement in community programs, and helping others to create a good community environment.

As we perform our tasks, we get the chance to know the actual needs of other individuals. This program is necessary because it trains us to be helpful and compassionate in our daily lives. Being a good Filipino goes beyond abiding by the laws of the land. This is all about being vigilant with regard to the welfare of our fellow citizens, particularly those who are less privileged. Our dialogue sessions made me realize that citizenship lies in being vigilant towards each other. True leadership do not focus on their status or being in charge. True leaders have the integrity to do the right thing even if no one is looking. A true leader will always keep the community at heart. We don’t have to wait till we grow old or finish school to help our nation. We can do something useful for our own little communities even while being students. It motivates me to become proactive and do something for the community that surrounds me.

CLASS CODE: 405 GROUP NO., NAME & POSITION: 1-AUXILIUMPOPULI-OBSERVER DATE: July 31, 2026 INSIGHTS/LEARNING After our fifth CWTS session, I decided to go to our barangay hall on my way home. However, it was already closed and there were no people around when I arrived. I came back another day, and the barangay officials kindly allowed me to interview them about our community’s development plans. They told me about the big changes in our area, like expanding infrastructure, improving roads, holding cultural activities, and opening more places to eat and do business. They said these projects will help improve government services and the local economy for everyone. Right after the interview, I thanked them very much for taking the time to speak with me even though they were busy. On that same day, while I was on my way to the barangay hall, I saw some locals cleaning one of the main places in our barangay where people eat and hang out. Seeing them work together made me feel very proud of Barangay Anupul, Bamban, Tarlac, and made me appreciate being a part of this community even more. I am also proud of how fast Barangay Anupul has developed in just a few years. We now have big fast-food chains and supermarkets like Jollibee, McDonald's, KFC, Mr. DIY, and many others that give us easier access to food and everyday needs. In addition, I learned about the local government's plan under Mayor Joey Salting regarding the controversial Bamban POGO hub or Baofu Compound. They plan to turn it into a public hospital and a school. Turning this site into a useful place for healthcare and education shows how much they want to help the community. All of these changes made me realize that being part of a community is not just about living in it, but also about appreciating and supporting its growth.

CLASS CODE: 405 GROUP NO., NAME & POSITION: 1-AUXILIUMPOPULI-OBSERVER DATE: SEPTEMBER 11, 2026 INSIGHTS/LEARNING With everything happening in the country, especially the typhoons and heavy flooding in Pampanga and Tarlac, I am very thankful that my family and I are safe at home. Fortunately, we were spared from the worst effects of the storms. Seeing the damage around us is still worrying, and I do not take my safety for granted. I know many people, especially those in affected areas across Pampanga and Tarlac, are facing much harder situations because of the nonstop rains over the past few weeks. It is sad to see how vulnerable our provinces still are to floods and how much people suffer because of it. As citizens, we need to stay prepared, informed, and ready to help during disasters. Experiencing these problems should motivate us to help our local communities and vote for leaders who can create real, lasting solutions. While flood preparedness is necessary, solving the main causes of flooding is just as important. Since these huge issues are beyond what I can fix alone as a student, I can only pray and hope that everyone stays safe and receives the help they need. I hope the weather improves soon, the floodwaters go down, and everyone gets the chance to recover and find peace..

CLASS CODE: 405 GROUP NO., NAME & POSITION: 1-AUXILIUMPOPULI-OBSERVER DATE: September 15, 2026 INSIGHTS/LEARNING This was my first time learning what a SWOT Analysis really is, even though I was already familiar with strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. I found it interesting how these concepts can be used as a strategy to improve our community. SWOT helps us see which factors come from inside the community and which ones come from outside. Strengths and weaknesses are internal, while opportunities and threats are external. Understanding this difference is important because it allows us to look at our problems fairly instead of blaming everything on outside circumstances. I also realized that it is easy to confuse a weakness with a threat because both cause problems. For example, typhoons and natural disasters are threats because they are outside of our control. On the other hand, poor governance and a lack of leadership are internal weaknesses. Improving a community is not easy, especially with different challenges and limitations, but SWOT shows that we should not just wait for outside help. Instead, we must work on what we can fix from within while staying open to outside opportunities that help us move forward.

Even though I arrived late, the instructor was still very kind and nice to me. During our presentation about our action plan, he gave us helpful ideas and suggestions to make our work better and clearer. Since the other department talked about a business topic, we also learned how SWOT analysis works in different situations. CLASS CODE: 405 GROUP NO., NAME & POSITION: 1-AUXILIUMPOPULI-OBSERVER DATE: June 26, 2026 INSIGHTS/LEARNING: The National Service Training Program (NSTP) is a required college program that aims to support the Philippines' goal of developing a society of responsible and community-oriented individuals. Its main purpose is to help students become responsible citizens by encouraging them to serve their communities. Through different activities, we learn that even small acts of service can make a positive difference in the lives of others. Because of this, I believe NSTP is important since it allows students like us to develop good values, gain a better understanding of our community, and realize that everyone has a role in helping improve society. As I learned about the background and laws behind NSTP, I better understood why it is a required program for college students. I think making NSTP mandatory is important because it encourages Filipino youth to become more aware of our nation and the needs of our communities while we are still young. This has helped me realize that civic responsibility is not only about following laws but also about actively helping others and contributing to the country's growth in meaningful ways. Overall, I am grateful that this subject, specifically the Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS), gives me the opportunity to serve my community, even through simple activities.

As I asked some of my peers and friends about it, they also expressed that each of us can contribute to our own community if we join hands together and work as one. They suggested that to make a positive impact in our community, we should start with ourselves. Simply knowing our neighbors, doing the right thing, getting involved, helping whenever we can, and showing the values we have as Filipinos are already meaningful ways to contribute. As they spoke, I could tell that they were genuinely concerned about our community. As a group, they showed teamwork by sharing their ideas and using examples of how we can help our community through cooperation. Knowing these things, I can apply both the ideas I learned from them and the lessons from our class to somehow be of service and support our own community. By doing simple yet meaningful things, I believe we can inspire others to do the same, and as students, we can all make a positive impact together. Documentations:

I am very thankful for the NSTP program because, even though I already had an idea of what our roles are as citizens, it gave me a deeper understanding of why these responsibilities matter. It helped me realize that, as young people, we should show good citizenship by following the law, joining community programs, respecting others, voting wisely when the time comes, and always trying to do what is right. Furthermore, being asked to create a simple video about ethical leadership helped me think more deeply about the qualities that a good leader should have. It made me understand that a leader should have integrity, be honest, responsible, fair, and truly care about the people they serve. However, I also felt a little disappointed when our professor asked if the kind of leaders we showed in our video still exist today. It made me realize that leaders like that seem to be becoming fewer because most are influenced by corruption and money. Through that understanding, I learned that every one of us can use this lesson about Filipino citizenship and our responsibilities as citizens so that, when the time comes, every single one of us can use our rights to choose someone who is truly an ethical Filipino leader. CLASS CODE: 405 GROUP NO., NAME & POSITION: 1-AUXILIUMPOPULI-OBSERVER DATE: July 31, 2026 INSIGHTS/LEARNING: After our fifth meeting in CWTS, I already decided to visit our barangay hall when I got home, but unfortunately, it was already closed and there were no people around. I went back another day and the barangay officials kindly allowed me to interview them about our community’s development plans. They told me about the major changes happening in our area, especially the relocation of the old town center to the new Porac Municipal Hall Complex, which is now located in our barangay. They also mentioned plans for infrastructure expansion, improved road access, continuous cultural projects, and the development of more food destinations and businesses. They said that these developments will help improve both government services and businesses in our barangay for everyone. After the interview, I immediately thanked them, and I was truly grateful for their kind and accommodating attitude, especially because they took the time to speak with me despite being busy. Just to add, during my visit, on the same day I went to our hall, I passed by some people cleaning one of the main places in our barangay where a lot of people eat and hang out. This experience made me realize even more how proud I am of my barangay and how much I appreciate being part of this community. Furthermore, I am also proud of how much our barangay has developed in just a few years, since we already have major fastfood chains and supermarkets such as Jollibee, Mcdonalds, Puregold, Mr. DIY, and many others that provide more accessible food, products, and services to residents. Seeing these changes made me appreciate how our barangay continues to grow and improve. I learned that being a part of it is not only about living in it, but also about appreciating its progress, understanding its needs, and recognizing the efforts of the people who help make it a better place. I also really appreciate the time and space our professors have given us so that we can rest and breathe despite our academic responsibilities. But to answer the question honestly, I feel at ease because I think I'm very fortunate that I'm not really having a hard time with my school activities and college life in general yet. Maybe it's because I came from a high school that was known for its academics, so I had the opportunity to become used to having loaded days and managing different responsibilities at the same time. Because of this, I've somehow learned to adjust to a busy routine. Personally, I also feel at ease despite my school loads since I know that I have my family who checks up on me from time to time and friends who are always there to accompany me through both laughter and sadness. I hope that everyone, especially those who are silently struggling, can also find people who will listen to them, understand them, and remind them that they matter. This is also one of the reasons why I feel that I can handle stress better. Since I'm already used to having a busy schedule, I try to accomplish the things I need to do before they pile up and become overwhelming. I organize my priorities, give myself enough time to rest, and whenever I feel mentally tired, I allow myself to take a break instead of forcing myself to continue. Still, I know that being able to manage stress doesn't mean that everyone else can do the same, and I don't want to compare my experience with someone else's struggles. Some people may be fighting battles that we know nothing about, and sometimes, what they need most isn't advice but someone who's willing to listen without judgment. The recent loss of one of our schoolmates is a painful reminder that we should be more mindful of the people around us and never underestimate the importance of simply checking in and asking someone if they're okay. I sincerely hope that my friends, fellow classmates, professors, and the whole Holy Angel community are doing well and taking care of themselves, especially during difficult times. I hope that we continue to look out for one another, be more understanding, and remind each other that no one has to face their struggles alone.

CLASS CODE: 405 GROUP NO., NAME & POSITION: 1-AUXILIUMPOPULI-OBSERVER DATE: August 12, 2026 INSIGHTS/LEARNING: After our last online meeting this Saturday in CWTS, I started thinking more deeply about the different community issues in our country. When I saw the group work given to us, it somehow gave me a better understanding of the different problems that our country is still facing up until now. For example, the topic given to my group, which is street children, made me more knowledgeable and somehow more aware of what they are going through, even though I already had an idea about the issue. It also made me question how many problems we see every day but simply choose to ignore because we’ve become so used to them. It’s very concerning how our country continues to face more issues, and even though there are new solutions like Pax Silica that may help address certain problems for now, they could also create bigger problems in the future, while the older issues we already have are still not completely solved. Now, focusing on the topics discussed with us, specifically poverty, healthcare, underemployment, and unemployment, I realized how difficult these problems are to solve in our country. Poverty, especially, is heartbreaking because many Filipinos struggle everyday just to provide for themselves and their families, while healthcare can also be difficult to access, especially for those who can’t afford it. It also made me understand the difference between underemployment and unemployment and made me realize how many Filipinos either do not have stable jobs or are working in professions that are not what they actually want. It is very sad to think that these are only a few of the many issues our country faces, and it makes me wonder how much more there is that we still need to address. Personally, in the coming years, I don’t expect a massive change, but I hope there will at least be small improvements and meaningful changes that can give us Filipinos a reason to keep hoping for a better future. I’m currently at home, and thankfully, we’ve been protected from the worst of the heavy rains, floods, and other effects of the storm. Although it’s still difficult and worrying to see what is happening around us, I’m grateful that I’m safe and I try not to take that for granted because I know many others have not been as fortunate. I know that a lot of people, including my fellow Kapampangans and those in other affected areas, are currently experiencing much harder situations, especially with the continuous rain that has been going on for weeks. Reflecting on these, it’s unfortunate to think about how vulnerable our province remains to flooding and how much it affects the lives of many people. As citizens, we should be prepared, informed, and willing to take action whenever disasters happen. Having experienced these disasters ourselves, let’s start by addressing the problems we can help with in our communities and by choosing leaders who are capable of creating long-term solutions. Flood readiness is necessary, but addressing the root causes of flooding and having proper solutions in place are just as important. However, these problems are bigger than what I can solve as a student alone, so for now, I can only hope that everyone, regardless of where they are, stays safe, finds the strength to get through these difficult days, and receives the help and support they need. I hope we continue to pray and hold on to hope that the weather will eventually calm down, the flooding will subside, and that everyone can finally have some peace and begin recovering from everything they’ve been through. What I found interesting is that these ideas can be used as a strategy for improving our own community. I think SWOT helps us clearly see which factors come from within the community and which are influenced by things outside it. It shows that strengths and weaknesses are internal, while opportunities and threats are external, which can help us understand our community’s situation more clearly. For me, understanding this difference is important because it allows us to look at our problems fairly instead of blaming everything on circumstances outside our control. I also realized that it's easy to confuse a weakness with a threat because they can both negatively affect a community. For example, typhoons, flooding, and other natural disasters can be considered threats because they come from outside our control, but poor governance or a lack of proper leadership can be weaknesses within our community. At the same time, I understand that these problems are not always easy to solve, especially when communities have different limitations and challenges. Understanding SWOT Analysis made me see that improving our community is not only about waiting for outside help, but also about understanding what we can improve from within while being open to opportunities that can help us move forward. I didn’t really expect that day that a new instructor would be the one teaching us, and that we would also have our class together with another department. At first, I was curious about how he would teach and handle the class, but as the discussion went on, I found him to be good at teaching. He taught us what SWOT analysis was and explained it clearly, connecting it to certain situations and examples, which made it easier for us to understand. Furthermore, when our class was presenting our SWOT analysis regarding the action plan we made a while back, he added insights and suggestions that actually helped us make our work clearer and more meaningful. Additionally, the SWOT analysis of the other department had a different topic since it was about business, so we were also able to see how SWOT analysis can be applied in different situations. Despite having two classes from different departments in one room, the instructor was able to manage the class well and make the discussion comfortable and engaging. Overall, my experience with a different instructor was better than I expected, and I enjoyed learning from his way of teaching. Documentation:

It emphasizes values like discipline, teamwork, and service, especially through community-based activities. This program is vital because it reminds us that education is about more than justgaining knowledge; it’s about using that knowledge to positively impact others. It also gives us the chance to encounter real community issues, making learning more relevant and meaningful. Through these experiences, weslowly develop empathy and understanding for different people and situations. KnowingthatNSTP is backed by laws like Republic Act 9163 highlights its importance and necessity. It shows the country’srecognition of the youth’s role in nation-building and its expectation for our active involvement. As a result, I’vecometo see civic responsibility as a key part of our daily lives, not just a school requirement. GROUP NO., NAME & POSITION: 1 – AUXILIUM POPULI – SECETARY INSIGHTS/LEARNING: Our group activity challenged us to create and present a poster that represents the values and mission of NSTP and Holy Angel University. We named our group Auxilium Populi, which means “Help for the People.” Through our poster, we wanted to show that genuine service starts with being aware of others, having faith, showing integrity, striving for excellence, and having a sincere willingness to help. Each symbol in our poster has its own meaning. The eye represents awareness and reminds us to pay attention to the needs of the people around us. The wings symbolize our responsibility to support, guide, and uplift others through service. The halo represents the importance of doing what is right and allowing our faith to guide our actions. At the center, the cross represents keeping Christ at the heart of everything we do, while the four core values—Faith, Integrity, Excellence, and Service—serve as the foundation of how we should act as Holy Angel University students. While creating and presenting our poster, I realized that NSTP is not simply a subject or a requirement that we need to complete. It teaches us the importance of understanding the needs of others and responding with compassion and sincerity. Through our discussions and presentation, I also gained a deeper appreciation of how the university’s vision and mission help shape us into responsible, disciplined, and service-oriented individuals. This activity also made me reflect on my own role as a student and as part of the community. I learned that leadership is not only about being in charge or telling others what to do. It is also about being willing to listen, lend a hand, and inspire others through our actions and character. Even small acts of kindness can make a difference when they come from a genuine desire to help. Overall, this activity helped me understand the deeper meaning of service. It reminded me that our faith and values should guide the choices we make and the way we treat others. Firstly, we were assigned to think of a leader and act out something that can describe him as a leader. At first, it was hard for us to think of a leader because there were multiple examples of a good leader in the Philippines back in the day. Vico Sotto, we chose him not only because of his iconic editing skills that young Filipino finds funny and adoring that makes him viral. But we also chose him for his transparency, integrity, and many more. We acted out a situation where in it showcased how he has service-oriented mindset. He prioritezes his people and act fast on unsolved problems.Secondly, we perfomed a short skit that sir assigned us last meeting. We showcased how helpful Filipinos can be. We made our skit a bit more entertaining which is why we added an “expectation vs reality” touch to it. It shows that helping a friend doesn’t always come out good or the reason to find your the one. Since, for some people, helping can be a hard work for them. They instead turn a blind eye on people in need of help.Overall, today’s activities taught us that leadership and kindness are shown through our actions. Through our skits, we learned that a good leader serves with integrity and puts others first. And during the second skit, it reminded us that helping others, even when it is difficult, refelcts one of the defining qualities of a Filipino. These lessons reminded us that making a positive impact starts witht the choices we make ever day. Together, these activities encouraged us to practice both good leadership and the Filipino value of helping others in our daily lives.CANLAS, JUAN CARLOSMORALES, ZACHARYCUNANAN, CLARENCE LUIGIORTALIZ, JARELLE KERLUMIBAO, MA. I learned that even small actions, like volunteering or helping during community activities, can make a difference. NSTP also taught me to be more responsible and to work well with others. Before taking NSTP, I thought being a responsible Filipino citizen was simply about following the law and respecting people. Through our discussions and activities, I realized that it also means helping those in need, taking care of the environment, and participating in community programs. I now believe that being a good citizen is about contributing in any way I can, even through simple acts of kindness and service. NSTP showed me that being a leader is not about being in charge but about setting a good example. I learned that integrity means being honest even when no one is watching, responsibility means doing my part without making excuses, and service means putting the needs of others before my own. These lessons made me realize that anyone can be a leader through their actions. Because of NSTP, I became more aware that I also have a responsibility to help improve my community. I may not be able to solve big problems on my own, but I can still make a positive impact by participating in community activities, respecting others, and encouraging people around me to do the same. GROUP NO., NAME & POSITION: 1 – AUXILIUM POPULI – SECETARY INSIGHTS/LEARNING: During our NSTP breakout session, our group was assigned to discuss the social issue of street children. We talked about the different challenges they experience in the Philippines, including poverty, lack of access to education, hunger, and the risk of abuse and exploitation. Our discussion helped us understand that these children are often placed in difficult situations because of circumstances beyond their control. I also shared information about Republic Act No. 9208, or the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2003, which aims to protect children from trafficking, exploitation, forced labor, and other forms of abuse. We learned that street children are among the most vulnerable members of society because they often do not have enough protection, support, or access to basic needs. Because of this, they need programs and services that can help them feel safe and supported. Our group also talked about possible ways to address this issue. We agreed that the government and local communities should strengthen child protection and rehabilitation programs, provide better access to education and shelter, and support families through livelihood opportunities. These efforts can help reduce the number of children living or working on the streets and give them more opportunities for a better future. Through this activity, I realized that street children need understanding, protection, and opportunities rather than judgment. It made me more aware that helping them is not only about providing immediate needs but also about addressing the situations that cause them to live on the streets. This experience encouraged me to become more understanding and supportive of programs and laws that protect children's rights, safety, and well-being.NATIONAL SERVICE TRAINING PROGRAM(CWTS)CLASS CODE: 405 DATE: AUGUST 8, 2026

It stands for Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats, which help identify what can help or affect the achievement of goals. From the lesson, I learned that strengths and weaknesses are internal factors, while opportunities and threats come from external factors. As a Civil Engineering student, I can use SWOT Analysis to recognize my strengths, such as determination and willingness to learn, while also identifying areas I need to improve. I can take advantage of opportunities like training, scholarships, and educational resources while preparing for challenges such as academic pressure and financial difficulties. Overall, SWOT Analysis taught me the importance of self-awareness, planning, and being prepared for both opportunities and challenges.InstituteforChristian FormationandSocialIntegrationNATIONAL SERVICE TRAINING PROGRAM(CWTS)CLASS CODE: 405 DATE: SEPTEMBER 12, 2026

It was my first time to be able to go inside one of the classrooms at the PGN building and even have a class inside. I learned a lot not only about our lessons but also the other class’ lessons. The class we were with are RadTech majors and had a completely different approach to the same lesson we had. Unlike us, their action plan was about business where in they were given a problem, and they must think about how to solve it with business in mind.Iwas in owe to see the differences each course’s take on the same lessons.CANLAS,JUAN CARLOSMORALES, ZACHARYCUNANAN, CLARENCE LUIGIORTALIZ, JARELLE KERLUMIBAO, MA. CLASS CODE: 405 GROUP NO., NAME & POSITION: 1 – AUXILIUM POPULI – ASSISTANT LEADER DATE: JUNE 26, 2026 INSIGHTS/LEARNING: Based on what I have learned, National Service Training Program (NSTP) is a program designed to help students to develop a sense of citizen responsibility and readiness to help others. The main purpose of this program is to encourage young people to actively contribute to the well-being of their communities. I also believe it is that very important because it teaches us that being a good citizen means stepping up, helping those in need, and taking care of the people around us. The background and laws surrounding NSTP emphasize that civic responsibility is an important part of building a nation. Learning about these rules influences my understanding by showing me that community service is not just an option, but a shared responsibility. It reminds me that our individual actions can create a positive impact on society, making us more aware and active members of our country.

They shared simple but useful ideas, such as organizing community projects, helping peoples in need, inviting more volunteers and using social media to encourage others to take part. During the discussion, my peer showed good teamwork by listening to everyone's opinions, respecting different ideas, and explaining their thoughts in a clear and organized way. They also showed leadership by encouraging the group to work together and focus on the goal. From what I learned, I realized that I can also make a difference by joining community programs, helping with simple tasks, encouraging my friends to participate and alwayswilling to serve others. Even small acts of kindness and cooperation can help make our community safer and a better place for everyone. This discussion inspired me to become more active in community activities and not be afraid to help whenever I can. I also learned that every small effort is important because it can inspire others to do the same. By working together and supporting one another, we can solve problems more effectively and build a stronger and more caring community NAME: MALIBUNAS, ALDWIN ROYZE P. From the lectures and activities conducted within the framework of the course, it is clear that a good citizen must observe the rules, laws, be respectful, help others who are in need of assistance, conserve the environment, and engage in communal projects. Furthermore, the lessons in this course have instilled in me that ethical leadership entails integrity, honesty, responsible attitude, discipline, and selfless service. These lessons have enabled me to know that a good leader serves as a good example for others and always puts into consideration the welfare of the others before he or she does anything. The course has helped me develop team spirit, communication skills, and leadership skills. Moreover, NSTP has helped me realize that even the simplest activities like volunteering, participation in group activities, and respect for other members of the society can help shape our society. In general, through NSTP, I have been motivated to take an active part in serving the community with respect and integrity. NAME: MALIBUNAS, ALDWIN ROYZE P. CLASS CODE: 405

Some of the social problems in our nation such as poverty, unemployment, and poor educational opportunities can be worsened because of political corruption and weak governance in our country. The lesson taught me that even though Filipino people are very resilient people, depending on endurance alone will just let the political system in our country continue to work poorly. True social reforms can only happen through good and accountable leadership and political systems in our nation.

However, as I learned more about its objectives and activities, I realized that it is designed to prepare students to become responsible and active members of society. NSTP encourages us to develop leadership, teamwork, discipline, and a willingness to help others. These qualities are essential because they allow us to contribute positively to our communities and become better citizens.Understanding the background and legal foundation of NSTP, particularly Republic Act No. 9163, gave me a deeper appreciation of why community service and civic engagement are emphasized in college. It reminded me that every Filipino has a role in promoting peace, safety, and development. This program has inspired me to become more socially aware and to use my knowledge and skills to make a difference, even through simple acts of kindness and volunteerism. Ibelieve the lessons I gain from NST will continue to guide me as I face future responsibilities in both my personal and professional life. GROUP NO., NAME & POSITION: 1-AUXILIUMPOPULI-DOCUMENTARY CLASS CODE: 405 DATE: June 27, 2026 INSIGHTS/LEARNING Our group activity challenged us to create and present a poster that reflects the values and mission of NSTP and Holy Angel University. We named our group Auxilium Populi, which means "Help for the People." Through our poster, we wanted to show that true service begins with awareness, faith, integrity, excellence, and a genuine desire to help others. The symbols in our poster each have a meaningful purpose. The eye represents awareness and reminds us to be observant of the needs of our community. The wings symbolize our responsibility to uplift, guide, and support others through acts of service. The halo reminds us that our actions should always be guided by what is right and by our faith. The cross at the center of the eye represents keeping Christ at the center of everything we do, while the four core values—Faith, Integrity, Excellence, and Service, it serve as the foundation of our actions as Holy Angel University students. While preparing and presenting our poster, I realized that NSTP is more than just a subject or a school requirement. It has taught us that serving others starts with understanding their needs and taking action with compassion and sincerity. Our discussions and presentation also helped me appreciate how the university's vision and mission shape us into responsible, disciplined, and service-oriented individuals. This activity made me reflect on my own role as a student and as a member of the community. I learned that leadership is not only about leading people but also about becoming someone who is willing to help, listen, and inspire others through good character and positive actions. Even simple acts of kindness can create a meaningful impact when they are done with a sincere heart. Overall, this activity strengthened my understanding of the true meaning of service. It reminded me that faith and good values should always guide my decisions and actions. As a member of Auxilium Populi, I hope to continue living by the values of faith, integrity, excellence, and service, and to become a person who genuinely serves others with humility, compassion, and responsibility. GROUP 1 - AUXILIUM POPULI NATIONAL SERVICE TRAINING PROGRAM (CWTS) JOURNALWORKSHEETNO.4 NAME: PABUSTAN, JANELLE A. GROUP NO., NAME & POSITION: 1-AUXILIUMPOPULI-DOCUMENTARY CLASS CODE: 405 DATE: July 4, 2026 INSIGHTS/LEARNING During our classroom activity, our group performed two different skits that taught us important values about leadership and being a good Filipino. Both activities helped us understand that our actions, no matter how simple, can make a positive difference in the lives of others. The first skit was entitled "Ang Tunay na Serbisyo Publiko," where we portrayed Mayor Vico Sotto as a role model. We chose him because he is known for his honesty, transparency, accountability, and dedication to serving the people. In our skit, we showed how he listens to the concerns of the community, responds to their needs, and encourages everyone to work together for positive change. Through this performance, I realized that a true leader is not someone who only holds a position but someone who leads with integrity, responsibility, and compassion. Good leadership means putting the needs of others first and serving with sincerity. The second activity was a role-playing scenario about helping a classmate in need, which demonstrated Filipino values such as kindness, helpfulness, and respect. In our scenario, a classmate accidentally dropped her books in the hallway, and another student immediately helped her pick them up. Later, some students made fun of the classmate, but another student stood up for her and reminded everyone that helping others is the right thing to do. This activity showed us that being kind is not only about offering help but also about standing up for what is right and treating others with respect. Overall, these activities taught me that being a good leader and a good person starts with simple acts of kindness, honesty, and service. Whether we are helping a classmate or serving an entire community, our actions reflect our values and character. I learned that I can become a role model in my own way by showing respect, helping others without expecting anything in return, and making responsible decisions every day. These lessons inspired me to practice these values not only in school but also in my daily life. CANLAS, JUAN CARLOS MORALES, ZACHARY CUNANAN, CLARENCE LUIGI ORTALIZ, JARELLE KER LUMIBAO, MA. The barangay secretary politely accommodated my request and willingly explained the barangay's development plans. This showed me that the officials value transparency and are dedicated to informing residents about ongoing and future projects that will benefit the community. Barangay San Francisco, Magalang, Pampanga is a peaceful community that continues to improve through various development projects. According to the barangay secretary, the barangay is focusing on improving roads in different sitios to make transportation safer and more convenient for residents. Recently, additional CCTV cameras and solar- powered street lights have been installed to enhance public safety and security. The barangay also implements Patatag Municipal Ordinance No. 24, which promotes proper waste segregation to maintain a clean and healthy environment. Furthermore, the barangay has pending requests to higher government agencies for the construction of a daycare center and a basketball court. These proposed projects aim to provide better educational facilities for children and recreational spaces that encourage community involvement and healthy living. Overall, Barangay San Francisco is continuously working toward becoming a safer, cleaner, and more progressive community through the combined efforts of its officials and residents. GROUP NO., NAME & POSITION: 1-AUXILIUMPOPULI-DOCUMENTARY CLASS CODE: 405 DATE: August 1, 2026 What are the things that will make you feel at ease despite school loads? How are you personally handling mental stress? Despite my school workload, I feel at ease whenever I spend time with my boyfriend. He is one of the people who makes me feel happy and comfortable, especially when I am feeling stressed or overwhelmed. We sometimes go out to enjoy nature, take walks, or eat together. These moments help me relax and take my mind off school responsibilities for a while. Personally, I handle mental stress by opening up to my boyfriend about my problems and worries. I tell him the things that are bothering me, whether they are related to school, personal matters, or other challenges I am facing. Talking to him helps me feel lighter because I know that someone is listening and supporting me. His encouragement, understanding, and presence help me stay positive during difficult times. Aside from that, I also pray to God and ask for His guidance whenever I feel stressed, confused, or overwhelmed. Prayer gives me strength, comfort, and hope. It helps me trust that everything happens for a reason and that I can overcome challenges with faith and perseverance. By spending time with my loved ones, sharing my feelings, and relying on God’s guidance, I am able to cope with stress and continue moving forward despite the pressures of school and daily life. GROUP NO., NAME & POSITION: 1-AUXILIUMPOPULI-DOCUMENTARY CLASS CODE: 405 DATE: August 8, 2026 During our NSTP breakout session, our group was assigned to discuss the social issue of street children. We brainstormed about the challenges that many street children face in the Philippines, such as poverty, lack of education, hunger, and exposure to abuse and exploitation. As part of our discussion, I shared information about Republic Act No. 9208, also known as the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2003. This law protects children from trafficking, exploitation, forced labor, and other forms of abuse. We learned that street children are among the most vulnerable members of society because they often lack proper protection and support. Our group also discussed possible solutions to this issue. We agreed that the government and local communities should strengthen child protection and rehabilitation programs, provide access to education and shelter, and help families through livelihood assistance. These actions can reduce the number of children living or working on the streets and give them a better future. Through this activity, I realized that street children need understanding, protection, and opportunities rather than judgment. The discussion helped me become more aware of the importance of supporting programs and laws that protect children's rights and welfare. As I reflected on the question, "How are you?", I realized that I am doing well and continuously learning how to become a more responsible citizen. The session made me more aware of the risks brought by floods and the importance of being prepared at all times. It encouraged me to think about the safety of my family and how I can help during emergencies. As my form of action for humanity, I prepared an emergency kit for my family. The kit contains essential supplies such as bottled water, canned goods, face masks, a flashlight, and other necessities that may be needed during floods or emergencies. Through this activity, I learned that even simple actions can make a difference in ensuring the safety and well-being of others. Preparing the emergency kit also helped me understand the value of responsibility and readiness. If a disaster occurs, being prepared can reduce panic and help families respond more effectively. This activity showed me that helping the community starts at home, and every small effort contributes to building a safer and more resilient society. Overall, the Kumustahan Session inspired me to become more aware, prepared, and proactive. As an NSTP student, I will continue to practice preparedness, share what I have learned with my family, and participate in activities that promote safety and community welfare. Through these actions, I hope to contribute positively to my family, community, and society.

Rosario, Angeles City FM-CES 4020 Rev. 1 Effectivity Date: February 13, 2020 SWOT ANALYSIS SWOT Analysis is a useful tool that helps individuals, organizations, and communities understand their current situation before making plans. SWOT stands for Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats. It helps identify internal factors such as strengths and weaknesses, as well as external factors such as opportunities and threats. Through SWOT Analysis, people can better understand their situation and make wiser decisions. From the ppt slides and module, I learned that strengths are the positive qualities and resources that can help achieve goals, while weaknesses are areas that need improvement. Opportunities are external factors that can be used for growth and development, while threats are challenges that may affect success. Understanding these factors allows individuals and organizations to prepare better plans and strategies. As a Civil Engineering student, I can apply SWOT Analysis in my studies and personal development. For example, my strengths may include determination and willingness to learn, while my weaknesses may include areas where I still need improvement. Opportunities may include scholarships, educational resources, and training programs, while threats may include financial challenges and academic pressures. By identifying these factors, I can create better plans to achieve my goals. Overall, SWOT Analysis is an effective tool because it helps people become more aware of their situation and make informed decisions. It encourages critical thinking, planning, and problem-solving. Through this lesson, I realized that understanding both positive and negative factors is important in achieving success and overcoming challenges.

At first, I felt nervous because he was very strict, and I was not sure what to expect from the session. However, as the class continued, I realized that his strictness helped us stay focused and encouraged us to take our work seriously. It created a learning environment where everyone paid attention and participated in the activities. One of the activities we did was a SWOT Analysis based on our project plan about street children. Through this activity, I gained a better understanding of our project and learned how to identify its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. It also gave me the chance to work closely with my group members and share ideas. Overall, the session was a valuable learning experience that helped me improve my understanding of our project and the importance of teamwork.

The essence of NSTP is to motivate students to be of help to others instead of thinking about themselves only. Due to all the exercises and lectures, I became aware that even small deeds can have an impact on the community. In addition, my awareness of the fact that there is such a legal support to the NSTP program as law made me understand the importance of serving the community. It also taught me the value of teamwork and cooperation, since working together can help us achieve more and create a stronger community. While participating in these activities, I gained the idea about how significant it is tohelp out the community not just for academic purposes but more of becoming a lifelong responsibility. With this, I was motivated enough to become compassionate, responsible, and always willing to help others. The values from NSTP will continue to guide me in my future decision-making process even beyond college life.
