What is Christianity actually saying? No guilt trips. No “you're going to hell” signs. Just real answers to the questions people actually ask— written for you to actually read.“Whoever has ears, let them hear.” Matthew 13:9

THREE WORDS. GOD. SAVES. SINNERS. (US= SINNERS)What is the Gospel?THE GOSPEL IS THE GOOD NEWS— GREAT NEWS EVEN!!!The Core Issue in that Statement Most people judge themselves by comparison— "I'm not that bad," but God’s standard isn't comparative; it's perfection. "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23) One flaw breaks that standard, the way one crack breaks a pane of glass (James 2:10). It's not about being *mostly good*— it's about a heart that sets its own standard instead of submitting to God's, bent toward self rather than surrendered to Him, and no amount of effort fixes that from the inside. But why does God get to set the standard? Because He's not just really good compared to us— He is goodness itself. "There is none holy like the Lord" (1 Samuel 2:2) Human standards shift by culture, era, and person— that's why "I'm not that bad" only works by comparison. God isn't compared to anything; He's the reference point everything else is measured against. Everything, including us, is measured by Him— not the other way around. Why grace, not merit If salvation could be earned, "good enough" would always be uncertain— and people would have grounds to boast. So God provided another way: Jesus lived the perfect life we couldn't, died to pay sin's penalty, and rose again. "By grace you have been saved through faith... not a result of works, so that no one may boast" (Ephesians 2:8–9) The Response Don’t "try harder" but trust Him— turn (repent) from self- reliance and rely on Christ's finished work (faith), as Jesus preached: "...repent and believe in the gospel" (Mark 1:15)“I’M A GOOD PERSON THOUGH— HOW AM I A SINNER?”1

WE AS HUMANS COULD NEVER EMULATE JESUS’ LOVE PERFECTLY“There’s no hate like Christian love”Okay, But What About THOSE Christians?Hey, as a Christian, I also think it's wrong when people hold huge signs saying: "YOU ARE ALL GOING TO HELL BECAUSE YOU'RE GAAAAAAY" —aka condemning people, BUT the problem isn't Christianity, the problem is human. We fall short every day, and yes— this includes both you and Christians. It's not just that we mess up sometimes. Scripture says, "the heart is deceitful above all things" (Jeremiah 17:9) we live in a fallen world, and that brokenness runs through every one of us, believers included. Christians are called to reflect Christ's love, but unfortunately, we can, and do, fail at it. “So does that mean Christianity is broken too?” No— it means we are. Not the standard we're pointing to. Jesus said, "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends" (John 15:13) and then He actually did it. That's the love we point to, even when we fail to live up to it ourselves.Jesus Christ lived the perfect life we couldn't live, died the death we deserved to die, and rose again, so that through faith in Him, not our own effort, we can be forgiven and reconciled to God— THIS IS THE GOOD NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!2

WHEN GIVEN A GIFT, DO YOU DECLINE AND SAY YOU DON’T DESERVE IT?God gave us a gift we don’t deserveHis gift was His only Begotten SonBefore you say: "Well, I didn't ask for this" Scripture's answer isn't a guilt trip, it's a gift. Here's the thing about gifts: they're not earned. “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23 ) Not after we cleaned up. Not once we proved ourselves. While we were still in it. "But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8) "He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy" (Titus 3:5) That's the gift. Not something we earned, not something we deserved— something given. He didn't send a rulebook or a to-do list. He sent His Son.Can We Trust the Bible?MORE EVIDENCE THAN ANY OTHER ANCIENT BOOK— AND IT'S NOT "JUST GUYS WITH AN AGENDA"Written by man, breathed by God3Fair question to ask. Let's actually look into it.

So what now?NO NEED TO CLEAN YOURSELF FIRSTThe Bible was written by around 40 authors, across roughly 1,500 years, in different languages, on three different continents— most of whom never met. Yet it tells one unified story. "All Scripture is God-breathed" (2 Timothy 3:16) prophets “spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit" (2 Peter 1:21) Human hands, real voices— not human invention. It holds up historically, too. We have over 5,800 Greek New Testament manuscripts , some dating within decades of the events— far more, and far earlier, than most other ancient texts. The Dead Sea Scrolls confirmed Old Testament texts were copied with remarkable accuracy for over 1,000 years. And archaeology keeps backing it up — places and figures once doubted (the Hittites , King David , Pontius Pilate ) have since been confirmed. 1 2 3 4 5 Not a book of guesswork. Many hands, one story.THIS IS NOT AN EXCUSE TO NOT SHOWERWhat I mean is that you don't clean yourself up before seeking Jesus. You don't have to earn it. The invitation is simple: believe. "That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9) That's it. Not a performance review— a response. Turn from trying to be “good enough” on your own and trust that Jesus already did what you couldn't. Then, through the conviction of the Holy Spirit, repentance becomes the next step—not to earn salvation, but as a response to His grace. You turn from sin and toward Jesus. You don't clean yourself up before coming to Jesus because when you go to Him—He begins the work in you.4¹ Manuscript count per the Institut für Neutestamentliche Textforschung (Münster) registry and the Center for the Study of New Testament Manuscripts. ² Great Isaiah Scroll (1QIsaᵃ), discovered 1947 in Qumran Cave 1; housed at the Shrine of the Book, Israel Museum, Jerusalem. ³ Hittite capital confirmed at Hattusa, Turkey (excavations beginning 1906). ⁴ "House of David" referenced on the Tel Dan Stele (discovered 1993). ⁵ Pilate confirmed by the Pilate Stone, Caesarea Maritima (discovered 1961, now in the Israel Museum).

“Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” (Acts 2:38) If that's something you're ready for, it can be as simple as a prayer, right where you are: "Jesus, I know I fall short. I believe You died for me and rose again. I'm turning to You, and I'm trusting You to save me. Thank You for this gift I didn't earn. In Jesus’ name, amen.” If you just prayed that and meant it— that's the beginning. “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30)Recommended Bible Translations: English Standard Version (ESV) - Word for Word translation New International Version (NIV) - Thought for Thought translation Media: The Bible Study Podcast (by Chris Christensen) - Spotify Websites: CommunityBible.org GTY.org *Christians and Christian creators are not perfect!
