Thisyearthetechteam preparedandexecuted(with alotofhelpfrom you!)thebigmovefrom the WorshipCentertotheFLCinpreparationforour NEXT50renovations! Ouradultchoir,children'schoirs,andorchestraOuradultchoir,children'schoirs,andorchestra programshavehadagreatyear.AFestivalofCarols (FOC)wasagreatsuccessenjoyingafullhouseat bothpresentations(approximately1500peoplein total).FOCisafullworshipministryeffortthat engagedabout220ofourministrypeople! ThisyearwewereabletoblessSheepfoldMinistrywithourofferingwhichcametoabitover$14,500! FamilyLifeAcademyisgratefulfortheprivilege ofpartneringwithfamiliestoeducatechildren inChristandpreparethem forlifeastheygrow academically,socially,andspiritually.Thispast year,wesawGod’sfaithfulnessinmanyways. Ourstudentsdemonstratedstrongacademic growthandperformedwellonstandardized testing,whileweeklychapel,dailyBible instruction,TogetherTuesday,Christian CharacterAwards,and“CaughtBeingLike Jesus”recognitionprovidedopportunitiesfor studentstogrowinbiblicaltruthandreflect Christ’slovetoothers.Oneespecially meaningfulmomentcamewhenaparent sharedthathisfamily’sexperienceatFLAhad beenpartofhisjourneytowardaccepting Christandbeingbaptized—abeautiful reminderthattheministryofourschool reachesbeyondourstudentstoentirefamilies. Ourstudentsorganizedandrananamazingfour-day VBS,reachingover50kids.Thegospelwasclearly communicated,seedswereplanted,andtwokids receivedthegiftofsalvation.Oureveningteam times werefilledwithearnestprayersfortheNavajoNation andManyFarmsBibleChurch,andtearswereshed overthebrokennessthatourstudentswitnessed. Duringthe2025–26schoolyear,74women participatedeachweekacrosssevendifferentBible studies.Studiesareofferedatseveraltimes throughouttheweek,includingTuesdaymornings, Tuesdayevenings,andWednesdayevenings, makingiteasierforwomenindifferentseasonsof lifetofindagroupthatfitstheirschedule.These studiesprovideaconsistentplaceforwomento growintheirunderstandingofScripturewhile developingdeeperrelationshipswithoneanother. Women’sMinistryalsohoststwolargedinner eventseachschoolyear:afallkickoffdinneranda Women’sMinistryalsohoststwolargedinner eventseachschoolyear:afallkickoffdinneranda Christmasdinner.Thesegatheringsareespecially valuableforwomenwhoarenewtothechurchor Women’sMinistry,givingthem aneasyfirststep towardmeetingothersandfindingaplaceinone ofourongoingBiblestudies. Men’sSteakFry Thisyear,theMen’sMinistrycontinuedtoprovide opportunitiesformentogrowintheirrelationship withChrist,buildmeaningfulfriendships,and serveothers. Ourbi-annualMen’sSteakFrysremainafavorite,Ourbi-annualMen’sSteakFrysremainafavorite, bringingtogether126meninJanuaryand93in Augustforgreatfood,fellowship,andbiblical teaching.Thisyear’stopics,“AbidinginChrist” and“WhyIsItOKforJesustoBeAngry,ButNot OKforMe?”encouragedmentothinkmore deeplyaboutwhatitmeanstofollowChristin everydaylife.everydaylife. Throughouttheyear,menalsoconnectedthrough fourweeklyBiblestudies,aweeklygatheringfor widowers,divorcedmen,andsinglemenover30, andmonthlyhikesintheCatalinaandRincon Mountains.InApril,12menattendeda2½-day retreatatGrandViewCampintheWhite Mountains,wheretheyenjoyedfellowshipwhile studyingRomans6andgrowingintheir understandingofourfreedom inChrist. ChristCommunityChurch’sCaringMinistrycomes alongsideindividualsandfamiliesduringsomeof life’smostdifficultseasons,offeringcompassionate, Christ-centeredsupportthroughourpastoralstaff, trainedvolunteers,andtrustedministrypartners.This pastyear,carewasprovidedinmanywaysthrough PastoralCare,includinghospitalvisits,prayer, homeboundsupport,andfuneralandmemorial services;ourVisitationTeam,whichbringsprayerand encouragementtothoseunabletoregularlyattend church;andStephenMinistry,providingone-on-one emotionalandspiritualsupportthroughtrainedlay caregivers.Wealsoservedchildrenandfamiliesin needthroughCarePortal,offeredGriefSharefor thosewalkingthroughloss,andhostedanAbuse AwarenessClassledbySheepfoldMinistryof Arizona.Inaddition,ourCircleofFriendsministry continuedtoprovideawelcomingandsupportive communityforadultswithspecialneeds.Through eachoftheseministries,ourdesireistodemonstrate theloveofChristbycaringforpeopleinpractical, personal,andmeaningfulways.personal,andmeaningfulways. 170 7 PEOPLESERVED | CARETEAMS | JESUSATTHECENTER OFEVERYSTORY
WearepassionateaboutlovingpeopleinthenameofJesus andcreatingopportunitiestomakeameaningfulimpactin ourcommunityandcity.ThroughCaringMinistries,weserve asafoodministry,aprayerministry,acommunitygroup,and anevangelicaloutreach,meetingbothpracticalandspiritual needswhilebuildingmeaningfulrelationshipswiththosewe serve.ChristCommunityCarsbroughttogether20volunteers whorepaired36vehicles,helpingindividualsandfamilies maintainreliabletransportation.ThroughCarePortal,we servedfivefamiliesconnectedwithDCS,providingneeded householditemsvaluedat$1,565,alongwith encouragementandprayer. Ourcommunityeventsprovidedadditionalopportunities toshareChrist’slove.Fifteenvolunteersservedcyclistsat ElTourdeTucsonwithrefreshments,bikerepairs,first aid,andencouragement.OurHarvestFestivalwelcomed morethan2,000people,supportedby100voluteers whileourEasterEggHuntwelcomedover600people toafun,gospel-centeredexperiencethatincluded walkingthroughthegospelstory.walkingthroughthegospelstory. Inadditiontoourregularsupportofmissionaries,Inadditiontoourregularsupportofmissionaries, CCCwasabletoprovideseveralspecialgiftsto ministrypartners.Theseincludedfundingtohelp DOORestablishaMemberCareprogram fortheir deafstaff;giftsof$1,000eachtoGideons, Sheepfold,andVoicefortheVoiceless;an additional$5,000fortheTicunalandDocumen- taryProject;and$1,000towardanoutreach ministeringtowomencaughtinthesextradein MexicoCity.Wewerealsogratefultoprovide eachofourregularlysupportedmissionarieswith anadditionalone-timefinancialgift. Throughouttherenovation,youcontinuedtogivegenerouslytoNEXT50,allowingthisentire projecttobecompleteddebtfree.Theresultisabeautifulspacedesignedtoserveourchurch familyforgenerationstocome,featuringcomfortableseating,stoneandwoodfinishes, state-of-the-arttechnology,andrich,immersiveaudio.
