Typical applications n Flat lamination of HPL n Flat lamination of Paper and veneer n Millwork n Edge/face gluing n Finger jointing n Window scantling Improved Mileage Customers can typically reduce their adhesive consumption by up to 30%. Energy savings Compared to ureaformaldehyde adhesives that traditionally require higher press through lower temperatures, RAKOLL® ECO 3 PVAc adhesive requires lower press temperatures of press temperatures approximately 70°C, resulting in energy savings. Shorter pressing time At 70°C a shortened pressing time of only 40 seconds is required for for common veneers, compared to 60-90 seconds with ureaformaldehyde adhesives. One component adhesive No need for mixing machines: - Investment savings - Reduced waste - Eliminates mixing time Versatility RAKOLL® ECO 3 PVAc adhesive is used for cold and warm pressing and can also be used on difficult to bond woods. Flexible glued joint PVAc glues are thermoplastic systems and the cured glued joints remain significantly more flexible than with duroplastic systems like ureaformaldehyde adhesives. Environment No solvents or formaldehydes are used for the production of RAKOLL® ECO 3 PVAc adhesive.
