Ground floor layouts prioritize accessibility and clear circulation within the individual blocks.

The architectural massing wraps around a central, open- air courtyard, creating a sheltered microclimate for research and collaboration. The stepped terracing on the inner facades breaks down the building's scale, allowing ample daylight to penetrate the deep footprint. A linear water channel bisects this central void, serving as both a passive cooling element and a visual anchor. Pedestrian bridges span the water, reinforcing connectivity between di6erent wings of the facility while maintaining the seamless flow of the landscape. At the human scale, the courtyard provides a serene, contemplative environment crucial for focused academic inquiry. The integration of native tree species and reflective water surfaces fosters a strong biophilic connection, bringing the essence of the forest directly into the workspace. The building's elevations are articulated with vertical shading fins that mitigate solar heat gain while preserving unobstructed views of the central oasis. The stark, white materiality acts as a quiet canvas, highlighting the dynamic interplay of light, shadow, and nature throughout the day.

A landscaped western plaza integrates meandering water features and pedestrian paths, while auxiliary sports courts and dedicated parking are e7ciently zoned along the periphery. Section A-A' illustrates the stadium's multi-tiered seating bowl and its continuous, curved outer envelope. It highlights the seamless transition from the landscaped pedestrian approaches into the expansive, multi-level concourses.

This aerial perspective highlights the stadium's defining feature: its continuous, cellular envelope. The porous exoskeleton wraps the entire seating bowl, acting as a breathable skin that promotes natural ventilation while establishing a striking, modern architectural identity. Strategically integrated with an adjacent elevated transit corridor, the site design prioritizes urban connectivity and pedestrian flow. The expansive, landscaped plazas create a welcoming, transitional public space that guides visitors from the surrounding infrastructure directly to the arena's entrances.

Curved pedestrian pathways weave through dense, multi-level landscaping, creating a dynamic public realm. This approach bridges the natural park setting with the stadium's cellular facade, o6ering visitors an immersive and highly orchestrated arrival experience.

KAAL-GARBH(GROUP) Designed for The Drawing Board 2025, this project carefully stitches contemporary architecture into the existing rugged topography. Meandering timber walkways connect transparent, floating pavilions, o6ering an immersive and contemplative journey over the calm waters.

PROJECT NIRANTARA Project Nirantara envisions a net-zero coastal educational campus where land, culture, and learning evolve together. The design abstracts the "Nirantara journey" by prioritizing architectural discovery over linear movement, creating spaces that blur indoor-outdoor boundaries to foster community engagement and environmental stewardship. (GROUP)

Drawing inspiration from the Panchagangavalli River confluence, the masterplan is anchored by five primary nodes that reflect Kundapura's geographic identity. This layout establishes a clear spatial hierarchy, smoothly transitioning from public to private zones for all of the campus's stakeholders. The staggered building blocks are strategically arranged to leverage the irregular site boundary. This configuration maximizes natural wind exposure for passive cooling while minimizing unwanted solar heat gain across the building envelopes.

To optimize the floor area within strict G+4 height limitations, the design utilizes vertically interconnected learning clusters. The expansive sloping roofs are oriented at a 15-degree tilt to accommodate a 196.7 kWp solar array, driving the campus towards a net-positive energy status. The building mass is strategically punctured to create a series of shaded courtyards, lightwells, and "backyards as spillovers". These integrated open spaces ensure consistent daylighting and natural ventilation while seamlessly connecting the interior learning environments with the outdoors.

The academic zones feature flexible, modular classrooms and laboratories designed to maximize natural light and airflow. The layouts prioritize seamless indoor-outdoor connectivity, with learning spaces opening directly into shaded corridors and raised backyard spillover areas. A comprehensive passive design strategy utilizes a North Light Roof Truss system and a high- performance envelope. Integrated green bu6ers and open-air corridors facilitate stack and cross- ventilation, ensuring thermal comfort while drastically reducing mechanical cooling loads.
