Adhichunchanagiri Mahasamsthana at present is having twelve branches all over the State of Karnataka, in addition to the two Foundations abroad, i.e., one at Flint Michigan, USA, and another in Berlin, Germany. This ancient Dharma Peetha has successfully preserved and propagated the Indian heritage through ages. Besides, the Mutt is striving for the welfare and betterment of the common people, particularly those of rural areas. Several Educational, Technical, Medical, Nursing Institutions have been started in different places of the State including a Sanskrit College at Sri Kshetra. The service activities have increased many folds ever since the Sri Sri Sri Dr. Balagangadharanatha Mahaswamiji became the head of the Mutt in 1974. The trust is managed by a Board of Trustees and the Chairman of the Trust is the present Pontiff His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Dr. Nirmalanandanatha Mahaswamiji. The Sri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust has established 485+ Educational institutions running mainly in Medical, Nursing, Engineering, Management, General Education, Pharmacy, Ayurveda, Commerce, Natural Sciences, Primary & Higher Education etc., having the strength of more than 1,38,000+ students with 18,000+ faculties. Adichunchanagiri Mahasamsthana Math Sri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust was established in the year 1973. ABOUT BGS MODEL PUBLIC SCHOOL BGS MODEL PUBLIC SCHOOL started its unending journey with the divine blessings of His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Dr. Balagangadharanatha Mahaswamiji, and His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Dr. Nirmalanandanatha Mahaswamiji, the 72 Pontiff of Sri Adichunchanagiri Math. Under the guidance of Poojya Mahaswamiji BGS MPS was established in the year 2012, at BGS Sasyakashi, Nelligere cross, Nagamangala, Mandya, Karnataka, 571418. Uplifting the underprivileged was the center of his focus as Sri Math has adopted holistic approach to serve society as a social, cultural, educational and spiritual mentor. It is a rare accomplishment that Poojya Mahaswamiji blends education and scientific knowledge with spiritual wisdom. BGS MODEL PUBLIC SCHOOL settled in a serene location surrounded by greenery, strives to provide an accessible, affordable, high-quality education to all, embracing secular credentials. School possesses an excellent atmosphere to bring out the talents of students in studies and extracurricular activities based on three fundamentals- Confidence, Knowledge and Creativity. P R O J E C T S T A T U S R E P O R T School Leadership Dr. A T Shivaramu, AO, SACST (R.) Teaching is the noblest profession, entrusted with the responsibility of shaping the future of the nation. The progress and development of a country depend on the quality of its education, and the quality of education, in turn, depends on the competence, dedication, and commitment of its teachers. Sri V Puttaswamy, Principal, BGSMPS The month of July was filled with purposeful learning, active participation, and opportunities for our students to grow beyond the classroom. The various academic, co- curricular, sports, and awareness programmes reflected our commitment to holistic development. Our participation in the CISCE Zonal Games & Sports Meet – Kabaddi Competition provided our students an opportunity to demonstrate teamwork, discipline, and sporting spirit. The Fancy Dress Competition and Frank Anthony All-India Inter-School Debate Competition encouraged creativity, confidence, communication, and self-expression. The Traffic Rules and Road Safety Awareness Programme for our school bus drivers and attendants reinforced the importance of safe and responsible practices in ensuring the well-being of our students during their daily commute. I sincerely thank our esteemed Management for their continued guidance and support. I also appreciate the dedication of our teachers, staff, students, and parents in making July a productive and enriching month. Let us continue to learn, participate, and grow together with confidence and enthusiasm. The First Round Test, academic review, and planning for the Assessment and Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) helped us monitor students’ progress and strengthen our academic practices.

BGS Model Public School, BG Nagara, organized a Traffic Rules Awareness Programme in collaboration with the Police Department. The programme was conducted to create awareness among the teaching and non-teaching staff about traffic regulations, road safety, and responsible road behaviour. Awareness was created regarding essential traffic rules and road safety practices. The importance of following traffic signals and maintaining road discipline was emphasized. Staff members were sensitized towards responsible driving and pedestrian safety. The programme highlighted the role of every individual in preventing road accidents and promoting safe mobility. It encouraged everyone to follow traffic regulations and contribute towards creating a safer community. Introduction A colourful and exciting Fancy Dress Competition was conducted for students from Pre-KG to Grade 7. The event encouraged students to showcase their creativity, confidence, communication skills, and stage presence through a variety of innovative and educational themes. Students enthusiastically participated in creative costumes representing various professions, historical personalities, cultural themes, and social messages. Participants displayed confidence, imagination, and effective communication on stage. The competition promoted self-expression, creativity, and public speaking skills. Programme Highlights

Frank Anthony All-India Inter-School Debate Competition – 2026 Under the divine blessings of His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Dr. Nirmalanandanatha Mahaswamiji of Sri Adichunchanagiri Mahasamsthana Math, BGS Model Public School had the privilege of hosting the Frank Anthony All-India Inter-School Debate Competition – 2026 on 24 July 2026. The prestigious competition, organized by CISCE, New Delhi, provided an excellent platform for students to enhance their public speaking, critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and leadership skills through healthy academic competition.. Inaugural Session The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and invocation, seeking divine blessings for the successful conduct of the event. The inaugural session was graced by Dr. A. T. Shivaramu, Administrative Officer, SACST, Principal, BGS College of Education and Dean of Humanities & Social Sciences, Adichunchanagiri University, as the Guest of Honour. The Chief Guests included: Dr. Sowmya N. Hosted the Frank Anthony All-India Inter-School Debate Competition – 2026 under CISCE. Four CISCE-affiliated schools participated with eight student debaters (Speaker and Opposer). Students demonstrated exceptional debating, analytical, and communication skills. The competition promoted confidence, logical reasoning, teamwork, and leadership. Advanced Karate Practice & Technical Skill Training Date: 25 July 2026 Venue: Lee Martial Arts Academy, Bengaluru Students of BGS Model Public School participated in an Advanced Karate Practice & Technical Skill Training session at Lee Martial Arts Academy, Bengaluru. The programme aimed to strengthen students' martial arts techniques, physical fitness, self-defence skills, discipline, and confidence through professional training. Introduction Intensive training in Heavy Bag & Kicking Drills to improve kicking techniques, balance, and striking power. Practice of the traditional Seiyunchin Kata, focusing on stance, coordination, and body control. Kumite (Sparring) sessions emphasizing defensive techniques, footwork, timing, and counter-attacks. Professional guidance provided by experienced martial arts instructors in a safe training environment. Programme Highlights Improved technical skills in karate, including kicks, kata performance, and sparring techniques. Enhanced physical fitness, stamina, coordination, and agility. Strengthened self-confidence, discipline, focus, and self-defence awareness. Motivated students to prepare for higher-level karate examinations and competitions. Outcomes

Closing Thought Conclusion Students of Grades 4 to 8 participated in an Advanced Karate Practice and Technical Skill Training Programme held in Bengaluru. The intensive training helped students strengthen their martial arts techniques, discipline, and self-confidence.
