Dennis Wilson Managing Director Matt Lee Operations Manager With over 3 decades of experience within the industry and being there from the introduction of Horizontal Directional Drilling into Australia, Dennis provides a wealth of knowledge and dedication to the underground infrastructure industry. His passion for ensuring projects are completed safley and seamlessly is a driving factor for the success of CDS since 2000. Matt joined the business in 2008, after spending 4 years with CDS, Matt went on to work all over Australia experiencing everything HDD has to offer, working on some of the largest Pipeline projects to date. Matt's return to CDS in 2021 saw a position where his experience on the field and expertise understanding projects from inception to completion provided the business with an asset to oversee projects and ensure we exceed expectations. 2026 PAGE 11 CDS successfully completed 2 x 7 way HDD sections at BNE International Airport, infrastructure upgrades under aircraft taxi ways. A 26 Inch hole opening tool was used under strict airside guidelines & safety measures to install 3 x 180mm & 4 x 110m Pipes in some challenging ground conditions including up to 3m of unstable sand fill, a tidal water table, marine mud and heavy clays. In 2009 CDS completed over 10km of Horizontal Directional Drilling installing a 63mm telecom conduit as part of the Hughenden to Cloncurry Fibre Route. Locating and/or Scanning for underground services is an important factor when it comes to installing underground infrastructure, ensuring the safety and success of the project.
