The thesis includes case studies of children in Malad East, with interviews of Suresh aged 12 from Pathanwadi and siblings Aayush and Ananya aged 8 and 12 from MHB Colony. It documents their home environments, movement patterns and use of shared spaces. The design proposes a mixed-use development with residential towers, commercial spaces, Gammat Ghar, daycare, pocket parks, community event spaces and playgrounds on a 6800 sqm plot with total built-up area of 45,915 sqm and FSI of 6.7.
