The EDC Plan provides a 100% employer match on the first 5% of eligible compensation deferred. The participating companies are Chick-fil-A, Inc., Chick-fil-A Supply, LLC and Bay Center Foods, LLC. This is a confidential plan, and we ask that you respect this confidentiality and not discuss the EDC Plan with fellow Staff. The deferral percentage election you made for the current plan year will continue for future plan years unless you elect a new deferral percentage during the Election Window. During the Election Window, it is important to consider how you can utilize the deferral opportunity to help fill a potential gap in your financial and retirement plans. You can make changes to your investments and/or beneficiary elections at any time by logging into your account at principal.com. As a current participant, you already made distribution designations in a previous enrollment window. Please see below for information on changing distribution elections. Your deferral elections for the 2027 Plan year cannot be revoked or changed following the close of the Election Window. What is the EDC Plan deferral and Company match opportunity? Watch and learn. The EDC Plan While the 401(k) Plan and Pension Plan provide retirement benefits for compensation earned up to the qualified IRS compensation limit ($360,000 in 2026), the EDC Plan provides benefits on eligible compensation earned above the qualified plan limits as shown in this graphic. Eligible compensation includes any base pay and incentive pay you earn above the IRS annual compensation limit. Once your annual earnings reach that limit, your deferred compensation contributions will begin automatically. Maximize the EDC Plan deferral and Company Match Opportunity The EDC Plan allows you to voluntarily defer between 5% and 15% of your eligible compensation, in 1% increments. Your employer will match 100% of the first 5% of your eligible compensation deferred to the EDC Plan. To participate in the EDC Plan, you must defer a minimum of 5% of your eligible compensation. If you were a participant in the EDC Plan prior to January 1, 2026, you may have also accrued a Supplemental Benefit. If applicable, refer to the Supplemental Benefit Plan Summary.
