Inspired by the Balangay, the Philippines’ ancient maritime vessel, the design envisions the exhibition center as a modern vessel that brings together people, industries, and ideas. Its philosophy, “Grant the structure a grid, but give the people a path,” guides a balance between structural efficiency and human- centered spaces.

Located in Manila, the historic El Hogar Filipino Building represents an impor tant piece of the city 's architectural heritage, yet its condition and long-standing deterioration raise questions about the future of abandoned historic structures. The project reimagines the historic El Hogar in Manila through adaptive reuse, transforming its preser ved remnants into a contemporar y Study Hub with a café on the ground floor. By integrating the building’s heritage with a new function, the design allows the past to remain relevant and active in the present.

03RESTAURANTThe goal of this proposed restaurant in Bataan is to create a distinctive and dynamic atmosphere that offers a variety of gastronomic experiences. It attempts to blend regional culture while encouraging vendor cooperation and creating an exciting environment. It has a variety of stall sizes that may accommodate different cuisines and communal seating spaces that encourage a sense of camaraderie among patrons.Role: Architectural Designer 3D Modeler 3D Visualization Software Used: SketchUp Enscape AutoCAD
The restaurant will feature vibrant colors, attractive signage, and greener y to create a welcoming atmosphere. Interactive activities, flexible enter tainment spaces, and outdoor dining will enhance customer engagement, while sustainable and accessible design elements will ensure an inclusive experience.

Inspired by the pearl, a symbol of the Philippines and its surrounding seas, the design features a dynamic kinetic façade and wave-like interior ceilings that evoke the movement of the sea.
