2 REAL HERO CELEBRATION BY KGOur Kindergarten section recently burst into a vibrant showcase of gratitude and learning as the little ones celebrated "Real Heroes Day." The special event was designed to help our youngest learners recognize, appreciate, and understand the essential roles that different community helpers play in our society every single day. The school corridors came alive with a colorful parade of mini doctors, brave firefighters, diligent police officers, caring teachers, and dedicated sanitation workers. Dressed in creative uniforms and carrying tiny props, the children confidently stepped into the shoes of our everyday champions.

MEDICAL CAMP A free medical check-up camp was organized at our school premises on August 3rd 2026, to promote student health and wellness. Students received personal health cards recording their height, weight, vision, and dental status. Doctors delivered a short, engaging talk on personal hygiene, balanced diets, and mental stress management.
GREEN DAY CELEBRATION FOR KGGreen color Day was celebrated at St. Joseph’s Garden School on 28/08/2026. It was a delightful experience for our Kindergarten students, filled with fun, learning, and creativity. The day was dedicated to the color ‘GREEN’— The colour symbolizes nature, symbolizing tranquility, health, and vitality Our KG class rooms turned into a lush, vibrant landscape as we celebrated Green Day on 28.08.2026. The primary objective of this special celebration was to introduce our young learners to the beauty of the color green while instilling a deep love and respect for nature and the environment. KG Students and teachers arrived looking like part of a lively forest, instantly lifting the campus spirit. The classrooms were beautifully decorated with green balloons, leafy streamers, and creative charts showcasing green objects, fruits, and vegetables.
Teachers led students on a guided walk through the school garden, encouraging them to observe different leaf shapes, feel the grass, and appreciate the natural world around them. The Green Day celebration successfully combined learning with fun, leaving our young students with a better understanding of the color green and a newfound excitement for protecting our planet.

Nivisha Sri, a talented student from Grade 2, has delivered a spectacular performance at the recent Skateboard national Championship, bringing home a remarkable haul of two Gold medals and two Silver medals.

Sai Sena, a talented young warrior from Grade 2, has secured the prestigious Runner-Up position at the State Level Open Silambam Championship. Our school community has yet another reason to celebrate as our martial arts champions continue to make us proud! Tej Shahank P. has delivered a stellar performance, clinching the 3rd position at the Silambam Championship.
WORKSHOP ON ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT A workshop on entrepreneurship development was conducted on 8/8/2026. This interactive program taught young minds how to turn creative ideas into real businesses by focusing on problem-solving, basic financial literacy, design thinking, and pitching concepts like a startup founder. Instead of heavy corporate theory, the session prioritized turning everyday problems into creative business solutions.
13FIELD TRIP TO VANDALUR ZOO FOR PRIMARY GRADES (PRE KG TO II) Our KG kids and Grade 1,2 kids are taken to a field trip to Aringar Anna Zoological Park, Vandalur on 7 August 2026.th Home to over 2,300 animals across 172 species, it blends conservation, public education, and green escapades, serving as a premier eco-tourism destination in South Asia.
Our school campus reverberated with patriotic zeal and high spirits on August 14, 2026, as the management, staff, and students gathered to celebrate India’s 80th Independence Day. ONAM CELEBRATION- 19/08/2026The school campus transformed into a vibrant cultural hub as students and staff gathered to celebrate Onam, the traditional harvest festival of Kerala. The day-long celebration was a beautiful reflection of unity, joy, and the rich cultural heritage of the region.
DENTAL CAMP BY IDA A comprehensive dental check-up and awareness camp was successfully organized at our school premises on 27/08/2026 in collaboration with the Indian Dental Association (IDA) (https://www.ida.org.in) to promote oral hygiene among students. The camp helped children understand that healthy teeth are vital for a confident smile and overall well-being. .
17 THE GRAND LAUNCH OF MIND AND MANAS APP The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), in association with the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Chennai Zone has launched the Mind & Manas App, a student-focused initiative aimed at promoting awareness, healthy choices, responsible behaviour and prevention of substance abuse among school students. All CBSE schools principals, Teachers and students of grades VI to IX have participated on 29 August 2026 at St. Joseph's College of Engineering, Chennai Engineering
18 AFTER SCHOOL SPORTS After-school sports keep kids healthy, happy, and smart. Exercise burns extra energy so kids focus better in class. Sports also teach teamwork and build confidence. Finally, we provide a safe place to play after the bell rings.
MATH CLUB COMMUNICATION CLUB - TAMIL An extracurricular group that brings students together to explore mathematics beyond the standard curriculum. It shifts the focus from rote memorization to hands-on learning, encouraging creative problem-solving, logical thinking, and teamwork. Develop and hone the Tamil speaking skills of the students. The club encourages the student to bring out their talents and develop a taste for Tamil literature. The club initiates varieties of activities aimed at building up the confidence and grooming the talents of facing various interpersonal activities and competition.
COMMUNICATION CLUB - ENGLISH The Communication Club aims to nurture confident and effective communicators among students. This club provides a platform to enhance speaking, listening, writing, and presentation skills through engaging activities such as debates, storytelling, group discussions, anchoring, elocution, interviews, and more. QUIZ CLUB The Quiz Club is a vibrant platform that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for learning. It helps students broaden their knowledge across various subjects through fun and engaging quiz sessions.
KARATE CLUB Teaches students self-defense, discipline, and physical fitness through structured training.
DANCE CLUB Dance students are taught constantly how to ignore external distractions and focus on themselves and their movements. This increased focus and attention span also helps them in school. They are able to study for longer and retain information better since they are able to focus better on their lessons the first time around.
ART AND CRAFT CLUB A creative hub that encourages students to express themselves outside standard academics. It builds essential fine motor skills, spatial awareness, and creative problem-solving.
