The high level of readiness was the result of months of careful planning and intensive preparation led by school heads under the guidance and supervision of the Schools Division Office (SDO) of San Pablo City. In DepEd San Pablo, WE REACH, WE SERVE, WE CARE!The Department of Education (DepEd) San Pablo City, together with public and private schools across the Division, actively participated in the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) on June 18, 2026, as part of its commitment to ensuring a safe and disaster-resilient learning environment. The activity aimed to enhance the preparedness of learners, teachers, and school personnel in responding effectively during emergencies, particularly earthquakes. During the drill, students and school personnel properly demonstrated the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” procedure, one of the most important safety measures during an earthquake. The exercise provided participants with an opportunity to practice appropriate response actions and evacuation protocols that could help minimize risks and prevent injuries in the event of a real earthquake.Schools Division Superintendent Gerlie M.
