Borrow- ing from the visual language of 1980s - 90s Vietnamese wedding imagery, the look transforms the bride into a figure suspended between memory and spectacle, both participant and observer within an unfa- miliar ritual.

Traditionally marking the beginning of a marriage, fire- crackers become a symbol of transformation through disruption- where order gives way to chaos, and every beginning carries the trace of destruction.-------------- ---------- chaos

rit- ual 02.### LOOK 02. THE CORSET Traditionally concealed beneath the wedding dress, the corset emerges here as a residue of the bridal ritual itself. Paired with lace tights, the look referenc- es the transitional space between ceremony and consummation - the moment when the public specta- cle of marriage shifts into private expectation. Simulta- neously structuring and restrict- ing the body, the corset becomes a metaphor for the social construc- tion of femininity, desire, and marital identity. Removed from its conventional context, these gar- ments appear less as objects of seduction than as artifacts of a ritualized transformation, expos- ing the tension between the body as lived experience and the body as cultural performance.
