The Floor That Doesn't Exist is a horror and mystery fiction story published by Inkora Bookstore. It follows a girl named Layan who visits her grandmother's abandoned house and discovers a strange elevator with a fourth floor that should not exist.

The story begins when Layan wakes at 3:17 AM to the elevator moving and hears her grandmother's voice calling her. A mysterious woman's shadow appears in the hallway. The next morning Layan finds a photograph on her phone showing the elevator doors open to the fourth floor with a woman in her grandmother's clothes.

Layan's friend Sarah identifies the woman from an old family photograph dated 1987, thirty years before her grandmother was born. Layan finds a locked wooden box containing a cassette tape with her grandmother's warning never to go to the fourth floor. The recording suddenly switches to Layan's own voice asking to be let in.

Using a brass key from the box, Layan opens the elevator to the fourth floor. She finds a hallway covered in family photographs where she appears in pictures taken before she was born. At the end is a white door leading to a room identical to her bedroom, where a girl who looks exactly like Layan is waiting.

The girl claims to be the real Layan and shows her that she has no reflection in the mirror. The photographs on the walls begin changing, revealing that her grandmother saved her years ago but another entity came out of the fourth floor. The story ends with Sarah finding Layan in the elevator, who now speaks in a different voice and presses a newly appeared fifth floor button.
