Welcome to my little collection of words, stories, and ideas! ✿ This portfolio holds some of the things I’ve created through writing, from poems and stories to scripts and other little pieces of my imagination. It’s also a glimpse into my journey as I turned random thoughts, feelings, and ideas into something I could put on paper. I hope you enjoy getting lost in a few of my words along the way. ♡INTRODUCTION

Hi, I’m Maureen. Ten years from today, I am 27 years old, living the dream life I once dreamed of. I have a successful career here in the Netherlands that allows me to travel in different countries and places. I am now financially stable that I can buy all the things I always dreamed of since I was a kid, and be able to provide for my family and support them financially. And of course, I can also help people who are struggling financially because helping others has always been one of my biggest dreams growing up. One Friday morning, I was walking around London, wearing the cutest outfit I had just thrifted in France, when I felt that it was about to rain. Luckily, I spotted a cute vintage café just a few blocks away, so I rushed inside. It was perfect timing because I was craving some coffee. I was literally loving the vibe. I loved the freshly brewed coffee, the cozy café music, and most of all, the drizzling rain outside. Today was just perfect. As I was enjoying the moment, I received a message from my very close friend, Tyler, who had become a professional hockey player. He invited me to one of his biggest games in London that afternoon. I happily accepted because watching a live hockey game had always been one of my dreams, and he knew it. He even sent me a digital ticket on my phone. Actually, we’ve known each other since we were both 17 years old. We first met on a language-learning app, and we’ve stayed close friends ever since. As I was about to leave the café, I accidentally bumped into someone. We both looked up at each other, and I froze. “Yuma?” I couldn’t believe it. It was actually Yuma, my international friend from Japan that I met on a language- learning app when we were both 17 years old. We immediately recognized each other. It was our first time meeting in person, and it was so unexpected. We decided to sit down and talk for a while. While we were talking, my old feelings for him slowly came back. I remembered how I secretly had a crush on him before. We were so busy talking that I didn’t realize I was already running late for Tyler’s hockey game. I said goodbye to Yuma and rushed out of the café to catch the game. I rode a double-decker bus, and it was actually pretty slow, which made me stress out since I didn’t have a car in London. When I arrived at the arena entrance, I suddenly realized that my phone was missing. I must have left it at the café. My ticket was on my phone since it was a digital ticket. Now, how am I supposed to watch Tyler’s game? I was stressing out and was about to cry at that moment. I thought this day was literally going to be a good day for me, but I didn’t expect that something like this would happen. I couldn’t call Tyler, and I couldn’t go inside the stadium because everything I needed was on my phone. I was about to give up when someone called my name. I turned around and saw Yuma holding my phone. He noticed that I left my phone on our table earlier, so he immediately went after me to the stadium. He gave it back to me, and I felt so relieved. I thanked him because I thought I was already going to miss Tyler’s game. I was surprised when I found out that Yuma also had his own ticket because he was planning to watch the hockey game too. We quickly went inside the stadium before the game started. Tyler’s team ended up winning the game, and I was so proud of him. I’m literally his number one fan because we’re besties. After the game, I introduced Yuma to Tyler. At first, Yuma thought Tyler was my boyfriend, but I laughed and told him that we were just really close friends. We all laughed about it. After that, we went outside the stadium and decided to walk around London together. We were in front of Big Ben that Friday night after the hockey game when suddenly a street musician started playing the song “Friday I’m in Love.” Yuma smiled as soon as he heard it. I remembered that when we were both 17, he told me it was his favorite song. After a few moments, he finally told me that he liked me ever since we were both 17. I smiled and told him that I liked him too. We both laughed, and that Friday night became a memory I’ll never forget.FRIDAY I’m in loveFICTION

Today i went to the booknook, when i was looking for something interesting, something caught my attention, it was a book that seemed magical and the design is very strange but in a good way. When i opened it i was so shocked when i saw the letters are moving forming into a sentence “Dear Reader” and i was so amazed because it’s literally magical, i didn’t second thought and i bought it, i can’t wait to read it.
