The dream of establishing a world-class university has been my ambition for a long time. With the help and cooperation of my colleagues and partners at Mansoura College International Schools, we were able to build our lovely Horus University in the beautiful coastal city of New Damietta. Ten Faculties are currently running, namely: Pharmacy, Dentistry, Physical Therapy, Engineering, Business Administration, Medicine, Applied Health Sciences, Al-Alsun & Translation, Fine Arts & Design, and Artificial Intelligence). The first batch of Graduates of these faculties was achieved by the end of the Academic Year 2020-2021. The Faculty of nursing, Horus University, is expected to receive fresh students in the coming October 2026. I take this opportunity to thank all my fellow board members, the academic and non-academic staff members working in the HUE. Horus University begins its journey with two pioneering faculties: the Faculty of Pharmacy and the Faculty of Dentistry. These faculties were carefully selected to serve as the foundation of a future-oriented university committed to excellence in medical education, scientific research, and professional training. Horus University is a distinguished academic institution striving for excellence in education, scientific research, and community service. As a private university accredited by the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, it was established by a presidential decree in 2013. Since then, it has remained committed to delivering high-quality education and contributing to community development through scientific research and continuous innovation. Currently, the university comprises ten faculties, namely: Pharmacy, Dentistry, Physical Therapy, Business Administration, Engineering, and Medicine (in chronological order of their establishment). In 2024, a presidential decree was issued to establish four new faculties: Fine Arts, Artificial Intelligence, Al-Alsun and Translation, and Applied Health Sciences Technology, aligning with modern advancements and labor market demands. Page | 19 University Descriptive Data Horus University – Egypt, established in the academic year 2013–2014, is considered one of the leading higher education institutions and is currently headed by Prof. Dr. El-Saeed Abdel Hadi. The university comprises 10 faculties covering diverse disciplines, including medical, engineering, business, and language studies. Since its establishment, the university has enrolled a total of 18,888 students. The university buildings occupy approximately 17% of the total campus area, reflecting a balanced allocation between built-up spaces and areas reserved for future expansion and services. The university is supported by a strong academic structure consisting of 202 full-time teaching staff members, including 38 professors, 37 associate professors, and 127 lecturers, in addition to 573 part-time teaching staff members, including 154 professors, 152 associate professors, and 267 lecturers. The educational process is further supported by 553 support staff members, including 187 assistant lecturers and 366 teaching assistants, alongside 137 administrative staff members and 307 administrative device members. These indicators reflect the university’s continuous institutional development and its commitment to providing an integrated academic environment that supports excellence and sustainable growth.

The Faculty of Medicine recorded the highest enrollment with 3,853 students, followed by the Faculty of Engineering with 2,653 students, then the Faculty of Physical Therapy with 2,346 students, and the Faculty of Pharmacy with 2,238 students. On the other hand, the lowest enrollment numbers were observed in the Faculty of Al- Alsun and Translation (749 students) and the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design (372 students). These figures reflect the diversity of student demand across the various faculties according to the nature of the specializations, labor market needs and the secondary school certificate and grade results. Number of University Graduates Since The College's Establishment The next data regarding the total number of university graduates since the establishment of the respective faculties reveals a distribution characterized by a clear concentration in medical and health-related disciplines. The total number of graduates across these five faculties is 5,333. The Faculty of Dentistry leads the list with a total of 1,502 graduates (including interns), followed by the Faculty of Physical Therapy in second place with 1,366 graduates (also including interns). The proximity in numbers between these two faculties reflects a consistent educational output or a significant demand for these specific specializations within the health sector. The Faculty of Pharmacy ranks third with 1,126 graduates. Together with the aforementioned faculties, these three medical-related departments constitute the vast

Page | 79 Conclusions In conclusion, Horus University–Egypt reaffirms its continuous commitment to strengthening the culture of institutional documentation as one of the fundamental pillars for academic and administrative development, as well as for supporting data- driven decision-making based on accurate and reliable information. This booklet represents the outcome of the dedicated efforts of the Information Documentation Committee under the Vice President’s Office for Education and Student Affairs. The committee worked extensively on collecting, organizing, analyzing, and standardizing data from the various faculties and administrative sectors of the University, aiming to highlight the University’s institutional identity and document its academic and developmental journey in a professional manner that reflects both current achievements and future aspirations. This work also reflects the spirit of collaboration and integration among the University’s faculties and departments, demonstrating Horus University’s commitment to developing a modern institutional information system that supports strategic planning and reinforces the principles of quality, transparency, and sustainability.
