The conference program spans two days. Day 1 includes a keynote presentation by Regalado Trota Jose on the construction of the Parian Church in Manila during the 18th century. Four sessions follow: Intangible Heritage, Cavite Puerto, Cavite History and Heritage, and Heritage and Museum.
Session 1 covers papers on rituals and feasts for San Telmo in Cavite Puerto, and the stone heritage of Cavite churches. Session 2 examines the streets of Cavite Puerto at the turn of the century, the revitalization of Samonte Park, and heritage conservation at Fort San Felipe.
Session 3 includes papers on the capture of Macario Sakay in 1906, immersive heritage tourism in Cavite, and the pulpit of Maragondon Church. Session 4 covers new town planning in Dasmariñas, dam-related vocabularies of the Tagalog people, and the GBR Museum.
Day 2 features Session 5 on the Manila-Cavite connection, with papers on anting-anting cultural exchange, entwined histories of Manila and Cavite Puerto (1565-1898), and Manila as a determinant of Philippine gastronomy. The conference closes with membership announcements and an optional tour of Kawit and the GBR Museum.
