Echoes June 2026

Dear Parents, Students, and Team Members, I trust this message finds you all safe, happy, and making the most of the summer break with your loved ones. As our campus enjoyed its annual pause, I am delighted to share that the spirit of learning and growth remained vibrant throughout this period—because at our school, excellence knows no vacation. At our school, we firmly believe that true education extends far beyond textbooks and examinations. It is about shaping character, igniting curiosity, and building the confidence to take on the world. With this vision, we remained actively engaged this month in creating meaningful opportunities for both our students and our teachers—because growth never takes a holiday. I am especially proud to announce that 13 of our bright young minds have been selected for the prestigious Young Innovators Programme by Hero MotoCorp. This is no small feat, and it fills me with great pride to see our students being recognised for their creativity, courage, and ability to think differently. Such experiences are invaluable—they open doors to real-world challenges, nurture an innovation-driven mindset, and prepare our children to become not just learners, but leaders and change-makers. At the same time, we invested deeply in our most valuable resource—our teachers. Through structured capacity-building workshops, we focused on strengthening teaching practices, embracing innovative methodologies, and creating classroom environments that are more inclusive, engaging, and responsive to every child's unique needs. After all, when our teachers grow, our students flourish. These efforts are a reflection of our larger commitment—to provide an education that is not only progressive and forward-looking but also deeply rooted in care, values, and excellence. We are not merely preparing students for the future; we are empowering them to shape it. I extend my sincere appreciation to our dedicated faculty, our supportive parents, and above all, our wonderful students—who continue to inspire us with their energy and promise. Together, we are building a community that dreams big and works together to turn those dreams into reality. Let us continue this journey with hope, determination, and a shared sense of purpose. With warm regards, Col B S Kadian (Veteran) Manager MANAGER’S MESSAGE

Dear Parents, Students, and Teachers, The month of June marked the beginning of the summer vacation, offering students a well- deserved break to rest, rejuvenate, and spend meaningful time with their families. While the school functioned at a quieter pace, the month remained purposeful and productive, with several celebrations, reflections, and preparatory activities for the upcoming academic session. The school community observed International Yoga Day, reinforcing the importance of physical fitness, mental well-being, and mindful living. Students and staff actively participated in yoga sessions that encouraged discipline, focus, and a balanced lifestyle. The month also saw the celebration of Father’s Day, a heartfelt occasion dedicated to expressing gratitude and appreciation for the invaluable role of fathers and father figures in shaping young lives. A key highlight of the month was the Felicitation Ceremony, where the outstanding academic achievements of our Class X and XII students were formally recognised. Their dedication, perseverance, and commitment to excellence were celebrated with pride. The event served as both recognition of success and inspiration for younger students to set higher goals and strive for continuous improvement. We are also delighted to share that 13 students were selected for the Young Innovators Programme by Hero MotoCorp. This achievement reflects their creativity, curiosity, and ability to apply learning to real-world challenges. Such opportunities encourage innovation, problem-solving, and the development of future-ready skills. In addition, focused efforts were made towards the professional development of teachers, with structured training programmes aimed at strengthening pedagogical practices, improving assessment strategies, integrating technology into teaching-learning, and enhancing awareness of mental well-being and digital safety. These initiatives continue to contribute to a more effective and progressive learning environment. Preparatory academic planning for the new session was also undertaken to ensure a smooth transition into the upcoming term. I extend my sincere appreciation to our management, teachers, staff, students, and parents for their continued support and collaboration. As we begin the new academic term, let us move forward with renewed enthusiasm, positivity, and a shared commitment to excellence. Warm regards, Ms. Jaspreet Obhrai Principal PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE

Dear Parents, Teachers and Students, As the academic year moved into the month of June, coinciding with the summer vacation period, the school remained actively engaged in strengthening its focus on growth-oriented learning experiences for both students and educators. Throughout this phase, priority was given to creating opportunities that extend learning beyond routine academics and support the overall development of learners. Efforts were directed towards helping students build essential competencies such as analytical thinking, originality, teamwork, effective communication, and solution-oriented approaches. In this direction, the selection of 13 students for the Young Innovators Programme by Hero MotoCorp stands as a noteworthy milestone, reflecting the school’s intent to connect learners with experiential platforms that encourage innovation, practical understanding, and confidence in addressing real-life situations. Alongside student development, equal attention was given to strengthening the professional capabilities of teachers. SALUMARADA THIMMAKKA– THE GREEN GUARDIAN OF INDIA UNSUNG HERO "The greatest legacy we can leave behind is a greener planet." This thought perfectly reflects the inspiring life of Salumarada Thimmakka, one of India's most remarkable environmentalists. Born into a humble family in Karnataka, Thimmakka had very little formal education. Despite facing financial hardships and personal challenges, she never allowed circumstances to limit her determination to make a difference. Along with her husband, she began planting banyan saplings along a barren stretch of road near her village. They carefully watered, protected, and nurtured each sapling, often carrying water over long distances. Over the years, their dedication transformed the empty roadside into a beautiful avenue of hundreds of flourishing banyan trees. Today, these trees provide shade to travellers, improve air quality, support biodiversity, and stand as a living example of how one person's commitment can positively impact the environment. The name "Salumarada" means "row of trees" in Kannada—a title that was lovingly given to Thimmakka in recognition of her extraordinary contribution. Her work has inspired people across India and around the world to participate in tree plantation and environmental conservation. She has received several prestigious honours, including the Padma Shri, for her lifelong service to nature. Salumarada Thimmakka teaches us that we do not need wealth, power, or advanced education to bring about meaningful change. What truly matters is compassion, perseverance, and the willingness to act. In an era of climate change and environmental degradation, her life reminds us that every tree planted today is a gift to future generations. As students, we can honour her legacy by planting trees, reducing waste, conserving water, and encouraging others to care for the environment. Small actions, when multiplied by many people, can create a greener and healthier world. "The best time to plant a tree was years ago. The second-best time is today." Let us take inspiration from Salumarada Thimmakka and become responsible guardians of our planet. Priyank Kumar (PGT Physics )
