BEN SPOSET (Music Director) is a native of Cleveland, Ohio and proud Midwesterner. A classical musician by trade, Ben attended Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee where he studied double bass with Glen Wanner, Joel Reist, and Edgar Meyer. He continued his studies in piano with Dr. Susan Yang, violin with Dr. Maria Jose Romero Ramos, and conducting with Dr. Emelyne Bingham – former assistant conductor of the Nashville Symphony Orchestra. While a student, Ben earned a specialization in Baroque and Early Music under Dr. Maria Jose Romero Ramos, and won 1 prize in the 2021 Charleston International Music Competition as a bassist. st Loving music old and new, Ben has since conducted in recitals and masterclasses with an emphasis on premiering new music by young composers. Since 2021, Ben has served as the director of orchestras at the Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Alongside fantastic teaching artists, Ben directs the after-school music program and the chamber music program as well. Come spring, Ben serves as the music director for musical theater productions. In addition to his work at the Baylor School, Benroutinely performs as a bassist with the Chattanooga Symphony, the Huntsville Symphony, the Rome Symphony, the Cleveland Orchestra of Tennessee, and at the Chattanooga Theatre Center. He performs often as a cellist as a member of Somersault Strings; a Chattanooga based string ensemble. In his own time, he composes and arranges music, bikes the riverwalk, and collects many, many houseplants (think of a number, it’s more than that!) He is incredibly excited to be working with Ghostlight Entertainment and all the incredible artists involved with Grease!
MJ Moyle (Choreog rapher) hou gh you may have seen her on st a ges across town, Emma is honored to be mak in g her choreog rapher debut w ith her Ghostli ght family this summer. Emma g radua ted w ith her BA in ac t in g from the Univer sit y of Tennessee a t Cha t t anooga in 2025, and ha s been a d ancer for over ten ye ar s t rained in mult iple st yles includin g Ja zz , Tap, Ballet, and Ballroom.
