Hi, I’m Kimberly, and I don’t need anyone—except God and the family He gave me.

I live in a house where love and wisdom are found in the walls. I am the eldest of three; thus, I think I’ll never marry. I grew up with so much love that I thought I didn’t need more.

But God gave me the first people I can call friends in senior high. Honestly, having friends is actually good.

I am still 18, but I lived more than that. My parents never asked me to carry their burdens though. I just learned to carry them anyway.

My nickname is “She Knows All,” but in reality, I am very confused. So, I guess, it’s best to just call me “Berl.”

People’s first impression of me was always “intimidating.” But once you get to know me, you’ll know there is more to me than that.

I like to read and write and chase adventures and life itself. Pink is my favorite, and it reminds me of childhood. Sometimes I wonder—did the whimsical child in me disappear when she finally felt the weight of her world?

I chose Psychology because I want to understand people—and because I understand that some dreams must bend when money says they cannot. But it’s fine, I can still be a lawyer and stop law-benders with this degree.

That’s all for now. The rest is something I can’t tell you yet, for I am still in the process of knowing who I actually am. While number 9 signifies “completion,” I believe I still have more pages left. This is still the ninth page, after all.
