Closing Attorney Your Closing Attorney The closing attorney serves as the neutral third party responsible for handling the legal transfer of ownership. They will: Prepare all closing documents Coordinate with your mortgage lender (if applicable) Order the title work Calculate your final settlement statement Collect and distribute funds Record the deed after closing Once your attorney has been selected, we'll provide you with their contact information and instructions.
