CLASSROOM CONNECTION CASA 2 Hello Parents, This week, we started sharing about the large intestine. We learned that after your tummy and small intestine take all the good nutrients from your food, the leftovers travel to the large intestine. The large intestine takes out extra water and helps get the leftovers ready to leave your body. The leftovers are called poop (or feces). Poop is something our bodies do not need anymore. It stays in a special place called the rectum until it is time to go to the toilet. Everyone poops— it is a normal and healthy way for our bodies to stay clean and healthy! We read ‘Chip French Fry’s Icky Sticky Digestive System Journey’ by Jamee-Marie Edwards. As for group activity, we roll and twist with play-doh to form our digestive system. Next week, we will be sharing about Animals that live in the dark. See you, Hazel🌟 Did You Know? Your large intestine is about as long as a grown-up is tall—around 1.5 metres!

CLASSROOM CONNECTION BIAN DANG BAN 亲爱的家长, 这三周学习主题《动物》，小朋友认识到动物是指会自己跑跑跳跳，肚子饿了要吃东西，还会用眼睛看、耳朵听、鼻子闻的小生命。我们这三周讲了宠物（如猫、狗）、农场动物（如鸡、牛）、野生动物（如狮子、老虎）。语言讲述活动—主题《小鸡出壳》、《怎么照顾小猫》和《鸡的生长过程》，本次活动教导幼儿了解动物的生长过程或照顾小动物的方法。通过观察、讲述，小朋友们也学习如何使用完整句子，如：“小鸡是从……里孵出来的”或“我要给小猫喂……”。培养幼儿对小动物的爱心和观察力，提高语言表达能力。古诗诵读《咏鹅》，这首诗描绘了鹅在水中嬉戏的生动画面。儿歌/律动 - 《一只哈巴狗》、《小小鸡蛋》、《猴子和鳄鱼》、《什么最漂亮》、《动物早操》故事 - 《狮子先生换衣服》、《小鸡出生记》、《好忙的蜘蛛》互动提问游戏 - 《猜鼻子》、《猜尾巴》、《猜动物》烹饪活动 - 《动物饼干》祝大家周末愉快！华文老师：亓老师/ 王老师/ 赵老师
