4 OVERVIEW Hatchx is a website created to organize all infromation into one platform. This way students , teacher and staffs have an easier time spreading long-lasting infromation. Hatchx’s mission is to bring newer and current student to join a community. We want to expose new opportunities, in and outsdie of Bayside High School. Through Hatchx, our goal is to see students thrive in Bayside High School. We hope to see more participation in our school’s events, clubs and sports. We also hope to see ideas and communities form faster and easily.
5 OVERVIEW Hatchx offers different pages to explore such as the home page, which displays the general information of the next few pages; club page, where clubs & teams are managed; update page, where all the announcements will go; explore page, where many different opportunities will be active; support page, which is for any questions & concerns regarding the website or the school in general.

CONFIRMATION EMAIL A confirmation will be sent to you DOE (nycstudents.net) email. Confirm you email to create an account! Click on ‘Confirm your email’ to finish setting up your Hatchx account 7

9 NAVIGATION BAR Look the bottom of the page, this is where the navigation bar is located Click on ‘Home Page’ to see an overview Click on ‘Clubs Page’ to view clubs & sports Click on ‘Calendar’ to view dates and deadlines Click on ‘Explore’ to discover the latest updates Click on ‘More’ to view the navigation bar in more detail
10 NAVIGATION BAR 2 Home: Click this button to return to the home page To view the navigation bar in more depth click on the three line menu called ‘More’ Updates & Calendar: This is the pageto check all announcements & updates Latest Updates: Check the latest updates on clubs & event meetings School Calendar: Check to see your events on a physical calendar Bell Schedule: Shows the current time + period for all periods Submit for Review: Submit annoucnement for you clubs(must have approved access)
Actvities & Clubs Page: figure out the perfect fit of extracurriculars and manageall clubs & teams All Clubs: Filter through options narrow down to your favorite options Manage your Clubs: If you are a board member of a club, you will gain access to update your clubs and see the overall club’s data Sports: View all sports tryout dates and meetings Club 101 Quiz: Take a short quiz to get a macth with a club Apply for a New Club: Any new ideas can be mad into a club! Opportunities: Bayside provides different opportunities for students to succeed even outside of Bayside All Opportunities: View different oppporrtunities fom scholarships to college courses you can take Scholarships: If you a senior you can apply for scholarships; make sure to check the deadlines Community Service: Earn Volunteer hours Internships: Make money while gaining hands on experience College Prep: Dual enrollment or any college prep courses will be offered either in or outside of Bayside 12 NAVIGATION BAR 4

This page offers a variety of options for you to succeed in outside of schools 26 OPPORTUNITIES You can find scholarships Some opportunities are only avliable to certain age groups Pre-College are courses you can take at a local college in or outside of Bayside Gain volunteer hours through community service event posted by clubs, local shelters, etc...
