This document is a student project report for a 3D animated short film called The Paper Plane, created by the Vertex4 team for class CP24Y0H02 under instructor Vo Duy Anh. It is intended for academic review and showcases the full production pipeline of a short animation project.

The pre-production section begins with a project proposal, planning timeline, and a script. It includes a shotlist, storyboard, and concept art for both characters and environments. The main character is a high-poly paper plane, while supporting children characters use a subdivision surface workflow.

The production section covers asset creation and animation. The main environment is a classroom with a flexible design mixing old and new elements for present and past timelines. A secondary exterior environment shows a schoolyard in extreme long shot, optimized with low-poly assets.

The post-production section details rendering and output. Technical standards include Full HD resolution at 24 fps, H.264 codec, and Maya project structure for archiving. The document also includes sections on knowledge enhancement, self-experience, and acknowledgements.
