Page 1 — Medic Code • Remain professional while on duty. • Stay in character during medical calls. • Treat every patient equally. • Respect civilians, law enforcement, and other departments. • Follow the chain of command and Red Mesa server rules.
Page 2 — Scene Safety • Never enter an active gunfight. • Wait for law enforcement to secure dangerous scenes. • Watch for weapons and other hazards. • If a scene becomes unsafe, retreat and request assistance.
Page 3 — Medical Roleplay • Perform realistic medical RP. • Examine the patient before treatment. • Ask what happened when appropriate. • Use appropriate medical equipment. • Allow the injured player to participate in the RP.
Page 4 — Patient Priority • Priority 1: Critical / life-threatening injuries. • Priority 2: Serious injuries. • Priority 3: Minor injuries. • Priority 4: Stable patients. • Always address immediate life threats first.
Page 5 — Combat Rules • Medics do not participate in shootouts. • Do not chase criminals or help one side win a fight. • Never loot injured or deceased players. • Self-defense is allowed when absolutely necessary. • Retreat from dangerous scenes when possible.
Page 6 — Hospital Rules • Keep the hospital professional and roleplay-focused. • Transport serious injuries when appropriate. • Do not cause unnecessary disturbances. • Respect patients, staff, and hospital property.
Page 7 — Radio Procedures • State your unit number. • Give your location. • State the type of emergency. • Give your status: responding, on scene, or transporting. • Example: “Medic 12 responding to a shooting near Valentine. One patient reported.”
Page 8 — Law Enforcement • Respect law enforcement at active scenes. • Follow reasonable scene-safety instructions. • Do not interfere with arrests. • Coordinate during major emergencies. • Keep patient information private unless RP requires otherwise.
Page 9 — Prohibited Actions • No metagaming. • No powergaming. • No random revives. • No looting patients. • No favoritism. • No abusing medic vehicles, equipment, or authority.
