Through walkable spaces, accessible transit, and mixed-use areas, PUP becomes a collaborative hub that supports inclusive, people-centered learning. Aligned with Magnificent Manila, this vision honors cultural heritage while shaping a connected, sustainable future. “PUP Sinta, Going Hilaga!” is a call to move forward together with purpose and identity.Merges the clean, purposeful lines of Bauhaus with the vibrant, expressive nature of Maximalism. It balances function and creativity by using modern materials like steel, glass, and concrete while introducing bold colors, layered textures, and diverse patterns. This combination creates spaces that are both efficient and stimulating, structured yet full of character, reflecting a learning environment that is practical, inspiring, and deeply engaging.

Integrating narrow roads, buffers, green spaces like parks, art hubs and walking only zones. Buildings are enhanced with sun shading design inspired for HILAGA that represents the arrow going up, and the color scheme we used for the renovated PUP UNIVER-CITY which are maroon, white, and yellow.A collaborative work focusing on the connectivity of the community and the university campuses, providing a space that users can co-exist, promoting walkability, environment engagement, and prioritizing students and/or school zones for a friendly and safe environment for the pedestrians.

COLLABORATIVE ASPIRA RESIDENCES Proposed location at Maguinao, San Rafael, Bulacan; is a residential area that was formerly used for another housing project and was re- established with our proposal by expanding the residential area while also connecting the community. Aspira Residence provides affordable housing in San Rafael while creating a sustainable community through energy-efficient design, solar panels, green streets, and passive cooling. By using locally sourced materials and design that can withstand climate change, it emphasizes intentional community living and creates hope for future generations. An integrated green space as a connection within the busy urban areas and providing a space for recreation.

COLLABORATIVE PROPOSED TROPICAL HOUSE DESIGNThe design aims to provide a cozy and comfortable place for the users to live in at a tropical region. The residential house design seeks to create comfortable living conditions and achieve thermal comfort through the use of passive design elements while lowering the energy consumption of the buildings, particularly the cooling load.

SECOND YEAR MIDTERM PLATEMidterm plate: inspired by nature, specifically with the plant Xanthosoma as it is named after, derived from the cliche scenes from cartoons in which they use the leaf as an umbrella, making it the roof of my nature inspired chapel while countering the rainy or tropical season we have in our country making the leaf catch all the rain drop.

SCALE MODELSScaled model of a 2-storey residential made out of basic materials such as folder, paper, illustration board and glue.FIRST YEAR GROUP SCALE MODEL OF AN IFUGAO GRANARY HOUSE:A collaborative type of scale model project in which we were tasked to model a certain chosen type of Ifugao house: specifically, Ifugao Granary House. The materials used in this scale model are mostly recycled, bought (glue stick and B6000), and some indigenous materials like rocks and sand. Using a reference from google, the collaborative project ideas kept coming smoothly along with the process. We also used tissue, carton, varnish, small ropes, and wood itself.

The Cultural Weave Plaza acts as a spine, linking heritage zones like the Cultural Pavilion and Art Hub with social spaces like the Food Hall and Interactive Zone. To counter urban grit, "Green-Blue" features—the Mind Wellness Center, Reflection Garden, and Healing Grove—serve as biological buffers. From the Observation Deck to the Urban Garden, every space is woven to transform urban exhaustion into a living nexus of restoration.

CRAFTING THE THREADS OF HERITAGE THE CULTURAL NEXUS The Cultural NexUS — Reconnecting Heritage and Humanity in the Urban Landscape Through the connection of all the cultures that will travel to Cubao, we bring back and we introduce these cultures to one another, in a shared space, that also connects people to nature - a break from all the population and pollution. this design intends to bring back one’s connection to their hometown to where they may be now, through Cubao, the center for transportation and passenger traffic.

BRINGING THEIR HOMETOWN CULTURE TO MANILA To transform the sensory assault and environmental stagnation of Cubao’s high-density transit hub into a restorative cultural ecosystem.

COLLABORATIVE WORK PAHIMANÁ DOMESTIC AIRPORT Mula noon hanggang bukas, ang pamana ng banga at mangga na nagpapatuloy.

COLLABORATIVE WORK PAHIMANÁ DOMESTIC AIRPORT San Jose Del Monte Regional airports in the Philippines often operate purely as transit facilities, offering little connection to local culture and identity. In San Jose del Monte, Bulacan—known for its mango production and pottery (palayok) tradition—this presents an opportunity to transform the airport into a cultural gateway. The proposed design challenges this disconnect by integrating local agriculture, craftsmanship, and pasalubong culture into the terminal, creating a functional yet meaningful space that responds to the site, climate, and social context while supporting cultural display, artisan activity, and community interaction.

COLLABORATIVE WORK VITALIG - VERTICAL HOUSING Reimagining Socialized Housing Communities in Tondo, ManilaVITALIG is a vertically-layered residential community that integrates housing, livelihood, and shared civic spaces within a single structure. It reinterprets the Filipino extended family by organizing different living levels for small, medium, and large households in a vertical setting. The design reflects the life of Tondo—active ground, supportive middle spaces, and residential upper levels. It creates not just housing, but a complete living ecosystem for families.“The House is a Community”“Shelter. Livelihood. Community.” DESIGN PHILOSOPHY:

Form follows family.” VITALIG prioritizes the needs of families in socialized housing by integrating livelihood, healthcare, and community spaces within the building. Every design decision responds to one question: what does a family in Tondo need to live with dignity and stability? From market spaces to residential units, the project ensures that daily life functions are embedded within the architecture. Housing becomes not just shelter, but a support system for community life.DESIGN STATEMENT:
