The Anchor 2026 V1 I1 Dingalan Missions

Insiders:Beginning in January 2026, Sister Mhel’s proposal for a Values Formation and Moral Recovery Program at Dingalan Community College was approved. The program specifically targeted college students residing in the boys’ dormitory, most of whom came from the southern part of town - Umiray Dingalan and Umiray, Quezon. A total of 37 young men were divided into two groups to avoid class schedule conflicts: the second- year students in the morning and the first-year students in the afternoon. Throughout the year, Ptr. Jag and his team faithfully facilitated the sessions, instilling biblical values and guiding the students toward Christ-centered living. Meanwhile, since Ptr. Jayson was assigned to the Umiray Outreach, he, together with Bro. Brix and other youth leaders, used this opportunity to visit families, share the Gospel, and lead them to Christ. In addition, Ptr. Jag was entrusted with conducting the weekly Moral Recovery Program every Monday at the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO)—the largest office in terms of personnel and known for its frontline role in times of crisis. To nurture future leaders, he brought along Bro. Dariel and other youth to observe, learn, and be exposed to the responsibilities of Christian service in the community. Due to the growing number of attenders and the challenge of worshiping in a noisy neighborhood, the church made the decision to move to a rented space in the town proper. Truly, it was a blessing from the Lord to be placed in a venue where His people could experience peace, focus on the message, and worship Him wholeheartedly. In this new setting, the congregation found silence, reverence, and a deeper sense of God’s presence, allowing everyone to listen, reflect, and lift their praises in a more meaningful way. CAMPUSCAMPUSCAMPUSCAMPUSThe Official Journal of DINGALAN MISSIONS, Philippines January - June 2026Moral Recovery Values Formation Program The program began with a burden for students from the southern part of town— those far from home who faced various struggles. To support them, Sister Mhel, a faculty member of Dingalan Community College, proposed a Moral Recovery and Values Formation Program so these young men would not have to face their challenges alone but instead be guided toward the right path. After much prayer, the proposal was approved. Under the leadership of Ptr. Jag, together with Ptr. Jayson, Bro. Brix, and Bro. Dariel, the program was facilitated through discussions, interactive activities, and prayer sessions. Over the months, visible changes began to emerge: positive transformations in character and faith, while hidden struggles were brought to light. This ongoing ministry continues to impact the lives of 37 boys, helping them grow in values, resilience, and Christ- centered living. GUIDANCE & COUNSELING ADVOCATE The lack of a guidance counselor in the college left the heaviest weight of the students overlooked, not their academics, but their mental health. The Lord placed another burden on Sis Mhel’s heart. Since the guidance office was closed most of the time, with the counselor reporting only during the opening of classes, Sis Mhel asked permission from the college president to transfer my workplace there so students would have someone to talk to. And she was not mistaken. After the head approved, students began coming one by one, opening up about their struggles, challenges, crises, and confidential matters which is ranging from light concerns to serious issues. Dingalan Community College proudly offers 100% free education to the youth of Dingalan. Its students are diverse, many of them underprivileged, and not only from Dingalan but also from neighboring towns such as San Luis, Aurora; Gabaldon, Nueva Ecija; and Nakar, Quezon. Currently, the college serves around 300 first-year students. Within this population: 25% are working students balancing jobs with their studies. 30% are students with families who carry dual responsibilities at home and school. 10% face cases of pregnancy, requiring extra support and guidance. 15% struggle with suicidal tendencies, highlighting the need for strong moral and spiritual formation. 3%experienced harassment and sexual assault (only those who disclosed) 78% are dealing with mental illness, reminding the community of the importance of compassion and care. This snapshot of the student body reflects both the challenges and opportunities for ministry. It underscores the vital role of programs like Values Formation and Moral Recovery, which not only provide education but also nurture faith, resilience, and hope among the youth.FACT CHECK: ON- Every Monday morning, during the flag- raising ceremony, Ptr. Jag leads a heartfelt devotion for the college students, faculty, and staff. This weekly gathering sets the tone for the day, grounding the entire community in prayer, Scripture, and worship, and reminding everyone to begin the week with Christ at the center. SAVING THE WOUNDED GEN 2 She prayed to God about this new calling, and through His leading, she began learning and studying the right way to respond as she now enroled in Guidance & Counseling program. What started as teaching to fill intellectual gaps and striving for excellence in language learning shifted into a deeper mission: to understand the wounds of this generation, to carry their burdens, and to lead them to Christ.

Brgy. Umiray in Dingalan is the last barangay located at the southern part of the town. After this comes Brgy. Umiray in Nakar, Quezon, which already belongs to another province. Because of its distance from the town proper—almost an hour’s travel by motorcycle —people there need to be revived in their faith, as they have long held on to their usual beliefs. According to reports about churches, many Born Again groups and other denominations have struggled to plant a church in the area, as they continue to face threats from the Iglesia ni Cristo. Up to now, one of the residents shared that they feel forgotten. Yet the Lord has made a way for the people of Umiray to quench their thirst and hunger to know more about Jesus. Though they were once misled into other beliefs, they now hold firmly to the Good News. No more tears, Umiray! Reach the misreached In February 2026, the outreach in Umiray began under the supervision of Ptr. Jag, Ptr. Jayson Villamor, and Bro. John Brixter Perez, with visits to the families of Moral Recovery Program beneficiaries from Dingalan Community College. Ptr. Jayson and Bro. Brix, both disciples of Ptr. Jag, started their journey back when they were in Casiguran– Kawadi at the age of 14. Ptr. Jayson, in particular, grew up as one of Ptr. Jag and Sis. Mhel’s adopted children. They committed themselves to the mission, faithfully applying what they had learned from Ptr. Jag. After graduating from college, they decided to follow Ptr. Jag in Dingalan to continue serving in the ministry. A lot was borrowed and rented from one of the attenders, and it soon became the new place of worship. Immediately after the transfer, the church conducted Bible studies and prayer meetings, laying a strong spiritual foundation. Today, the ministry is blessed by the generosity of people who contributed and supported the improvement of the church structure. As a result, the number of attendees continues to grow, encouraging one another in faith and strengthening the community in Christ. Don’t Cry, Umiray!OUTREACHUMIRAY The Official Journal of DINGALAN MISSIONS, Philippines January - June 2026 . After both teachers, volunteered to serve in the ARAL Program of the Department of Education—a tutorial initiative for slow learners during vacation time. Despite receiving no compensation, they dedicated themselves wholeheartedly, using this opportunity not only to teach but also to reach people in the community with God’s love. Their service stands as a powerful testimony of faith in action, showing that true ministry goes beyond the classroom and into the hearts of those in need. 4

Casiguran Youth Organization (CYO) Camp Brgy. Bianoan, Casiguran, Aurora June 2026The Education Ministry began when Ptr. Jag was in Casiguran, Aurora, where their home became an orphanage for ten boys. The Lord used them to care for these young lives, supported by private individuals, family members, and friends who wanted to respond to the growing crisis in any way they could. Today, those boys have finished their studies, pastoring churches, built careers, and started families and in gratitude, they now commit to helping the next generation of students whom Ptr. Jag and Sister Mhel continue to guide in their education. As educators and mentors, they believe that education is the greatest equalizer in life and a powerful weapon to share the Gospel mightily. Among the current recipients are Raniel and Cedric, whose main challenge is transportation expenses. By blessing them with support, the ministry magnifies God’s goodness through service. At present, there are eight students on the list with all members of the church, three of them are living with Ptr. Jag’s family. If you feel led to take part in this mission, we invite you to join us. Together, let’s pay it forward and invest in the next generation for Christ.SENT OUT The Official Journal of DINGALAN MISSIONS, Philippines January - June 2026Pay it Forward!Education MinistryChurch in MissionDay of Worship Convention Center, Dingalan, Aurora June 12, 2026Bible Month Celebration Convention Center, Dingalan, Aurora January 20262 Burnt Swamp Baptist Association Assembly nd Kampu Canawer, Dilasag, Aurora June 202670 Founding Anniversary of Dingalanth Municipal Grounds June 16, 2026International Commission (IC) La Union and Baguio City April 2026BSBA Youth Camp 2026 May 2026 5
