A Message From Madeline Through shared care and teamwork, our classroom has become a welcoming space for learning and growth. A clean, safe, and welcoming classroom isn’t just nice to look at—it’s where our learners feel comfortable, motivated, and ready to grow. With that goal in mind, we’ve worked together, step by step, to make our classroom a better space for every student. None of this would have been possible without the support of our School Head, the generosity of our parents, the dedication of our school janitor, and the active participation of our learners and teacher. Together, we’ve added an Information Corner, installed curtains on the windows, received electric fans from parents, set up bookshelves, placed clearly labeled garbage bins, built a cabinet for cleaning tools, and prepared a medicine kit. Our school janitor went above and beyond by crafting the bookshelves and the cleaning tools cabinet, giving us proper spaces to organize books, materials, and other classroom resources. Our students, in turn, take pride in keeping the room tidy —arranging their belongings, using the bins correctly, keeping learning areas clean, and caring for our classroom facilities and materials. Thanks to our School Head’s support and our parents’ kindness—especially the donation of electric fans—our classroom is now cooler, more comfortable, and more conducive to learning. This journey reminds us that creating a better classroom doesn’t rest on one person. It grows from teamwork, cooperation, care, and shared responsibility among our School Head, teacher, janitor, parents, and learners. Because of your combined efforts, our classroom is now more organized, comfortable, safe, and welcoming—a place where every learner can truly thrive. May this success story encourage us all: when small efforts come together with a common purpose, they can bring meaningful and lasting change to our learning environment. CLASSROOM CURTAINS The installation of curtains on the classroom windows has significantly improved the overall learning environment. The curtains help control the amount of sunlight entering the classroom, reducing glare and excessive heat, especially during warm and sunny days. With the curtains in place, learners are able to see the board and learning materials more clearly and remain more comfortable and focused during lessons. The curtains also provide a more pleasant, private, and well-organized appearance to the classroom. This simple classroom improvement demonstrates the importance of maintaining a safe, comfortable, and learner-friendly environment. 6 SHOE COVER BOX To promote cleanliness, proper hygiene, and orderliness inside the classroom, a Shoe Cover Box was provided for the proper storage of shoe covers used by learners before entering the classroom. The shoe cover box serves as an organized and accessible storage area, helping learners keep their shoe covers in one designated place. This simple classroom improvement helps prevent the unnecessary scattering of shoe covers and contributes to maintaining a clean and orderly learning environment. The learners were oriented on the proper use and care of the shoe cover box. They actively participate in keeping the area clean and organized and are encouraged to practice discipline and responsibility in maintaining classroom cleanliness. Through this initiative, the classroom became more organized and hygienic. The provision of the shoe cover box demonstrates that even a simple improvement can contribute significantly to developing cleanliness, discipline, responsibility, and good classroom habits among learners. 6

The availability of a complete and accessible Medical Kit in our classroom has greatly contributed to maintaining the safety and well-being of our learners, teachers, and school personnel. It provides essential first-aid supplies that can be immediately used during minor injuries, accidents, and other health- related situations. Through the provision and proper maintenance of the medical kit, the school has become more prepared to respond to unexpected incidents. Teachers and designated personnel can provide immediate basic first aid while waiting for further medical assistance when necessary. The medical kit also promotes awareness among learners about the importance of health, safety, cleanliness, and preparedness. Regular checking and replenishment of supplies ensure that essential materials are available whenever needed. GARBAGE BINS BEFORE The provision of properly labeled garbage bins in the classroom has greatly contributed to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized learning environment. The garbage bins are strategically placed and labeled according to the proper classification of waste, such as Biodegradable, Non- Biodegradable, and Hazardous Waste. Through this initiative, learners have become more aware of the importance of proper waste segregation and responsible waste disposal. They are encouraged to practice cleanliness and take an active role in keeping their classroom free from scattered waste. The availability of garbage bins has also helped develop good habits among learners, promoting discipline, environmental responsibility, cleanliness, and cooperation. As a result, the classroom has become more pleasant and conducive to learning.
