This year, we marked the 3rd anniversary of Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park with a new kind of celebration on Appreciation Day, 8 February, 2025. As shared by Mr. Yusmady, VP Theme Park Operations, we celebrated unity and gratitude by focusing on special actions rather than traditional festivities. To commemorate this milestone, we invited our team members to leave their artistic mark by drawing a special mural of the 3rd-anniversary logo. This activity served as a unique and lasting tribute to our shared journey and the creativity that makes our team so special.A COLORFUL JOURNEY OF UNITY & COLLABORATION For our guests, the day was filled with excitement and entertainment, featuring collaboration with Hitz FM, an awe-inspiring Spectacular Lion Dance, and performances from Benny the Entertainer and Callie the Dragon. The meeting kicked off with a video presentation that highlighted our major achievements and performance milestones from 2024. Following the video, En. Yusmady, our Vice President of Theme Parks Operations, presented the 2025 Strategic Plan, detailing our key goals and initiatives for the year ahead. S E T Y O U R G O A L S R I G H T : LDE hosted an insightful Objective Setting Workshop designed to deepen GTP’s understanding of the 2025 GTP Shared KPIs set by our management. Led by Ms. Wen Ing, participants explored key challenges and the intricacies of the bell curve approach to performance evaluation. Next, we also provided a hands-on demonstration of templates and real-world examples tailored specifically for our executive participants at the Thrill Seeker venue. A diverse group of 42 Executives and above levels from different departments at Genting Theme Parks attended the workshop. In addition, Mr. Alan Lein from Documentation, Policy & Process shared insights on process improvement strategies and procedures. His session focused on enhancing the process efficiency, optimizing resource utilization, and minimizing risks column. Mr. Lai Kin Hong from Planning and Revenue Management also joined us to provide insights and clarify the financial KPI aspects that participants inquired about, making the topic accessible for those without a finance background. To promote further engagement, we concluded the workshop with an interactive Q&A session, encouraging participants to voice their thoughts, ask questions, and clarify concepts discussed during the sessions. To ensure that the learning continues beyond the workshop, an email containing the Objective Setting & Appraisal template along with detailed guidelines were sent to all the GTP team members. 19 & 20 February 202505 FUNCTIONAL & TECHNICALJUN 2025 | ISSUE - 17 OBJECTIVE SETTING WORKSHOP
