STEP 2: REGISTER OR LOG INHOW TO ACCESS THE GABAISTEP 1: OPEN THE WEBSITEVisit https://gabai-8feaa.web.app/ using a web browser. Create an account using the required information or log in using your existing credentials.USER ROLESStudent: Requests academic assistance, participates in project collaboration, manages individual projects, and showcases achievements.Tutor: Uses the available tutoring functions to review and manage assigned requests or related activities.Vice President for Academics (Administrator): Uses authorized administrative functions to manage user verification, monitor activities, publish announcements, and maintain the platform.IMPORTANT GUIDELINES Keep your login credentials private. Provide accurate personal and project information. Use the platform responsibly and respectfully. Check requests and announcements regularly. Log out when using a shared device.
STEP 4: NAVIGATE THE MENUHOW TO ACCESS THE GABAISTEP 3: ACCESS THE DASHBOARDAfter logging in, explore the dashboard to view the features available to your account. Select the appropriate section to access tutoring, projects, portfolios, announcements, and other available functions.STUDENT PORTFOLIO 01Open the Portfolio section. 02Add or update your technical skills, achievements, and project information. 03Include relevant hardware or software project details. 04Review your entries to ensure that the information is accurate and complete.And you can now save your student portfolio.Add your profile picture if you want to. 05ANNOUNCEMENT 01Open the Announcements section. 02Read the latest updates and important notices. 03Check your notifications for new messages or activity updates, if available. 04Click the “Mark as Read” if you already view the announecement.
PROJECT COLLABORATIONOpen the Project Collaboration section.01 02Click Create New Project depending if it is a club project or individual projectHOW TO CREATE PROJECT 03Enter the project title, description, and other required details. 04Submit or save your project. 05View your project and manage its tasks and progress using the available options. Also, you can chat your members through clicking the Discussion. HOW TO JOIN A PROJECT 01Browse the available projects. 02Select a project you want to join. 03Click Join Project and choose the project you want to join. 04For private project, click join project and enter the code of the private project. 05After joining, you can now check the assigned task, download file or upload files and communicate with your members.PEER TUTORINGOpen the Peer Tutoring section from the navigation menu. 01Click the “Find tutor” to see the available tutors on the date that you are available. 02 03Submit a tutoring request by providing the required details. 04Check the status of your request and follow any updates provided.HOW TO APPLY AS TUTORTo apply as Tutor, click the “Be a Tutor”.Fill out the application form with the required information.Provide your academic details and subjects you can teach.Submit your application for review.Wait for the administrator to review and verify your application.Check your account for updates on your application status.HOW TO TRACK YOUR SESSIONSTo track your sessions, click “My Sessions” to access your scheduled sessions. To review the session details and status and to see the latest updates.
