Education: 2019-2025 Moyne Community School 2025-Present ATU Galway My name is Kate Waters. I'm studying architectural technology in ATU Galway. Ive always had a big interest in architecture, drawing and design growing up. Over the past two years I’ve gained knowledge in BIM, architectural design and details. I’ve gained an understanding of the design process, from developing initial concepts to producing detailed drawings. The year 1 house project was one of the first big projects I did. It is a 4 bed room semi detached house. We had the whole of semester 2 to create all drawings, Revit build ups, details and Lumion. Ground and first floor plans 4

Year 2 house project This five bedroom, 4 bathroom house was created over the period of one month. The project is made up of elevations, plans, two sections and Lumion renders. Lumion renders 7

Garden room project The garden room project was the first project I had to design myself. I had to choose and corner in my garden at home and design a garden to suit that area. I had to made a series of drawing to show my design and the thought process behind it. I also had to create a model out of balsa wood. Site plan before and after 9

I had to do a series of drawing for history. This helped me to memorise and envision each topic we studied. 11

Year 1 graphics drawings I had to create may drawing/ sketch's for graphics. I thoroughly enjoyed this as I've always loved art growing up. We practiced drawing without sketching and without looking at the page while drawing. 13
