ISSUE NO1 OCTOBER 24 2026TH THE STUDENT NOOKTHIS MONTH STUDENT POETRY FOR ALL THOSE OPPRESSEDWHEN WE LOOK UP AT THE SKY ANDTHE STARS, WE EACH SEE DIFFERENT THINGS, YOU SEE THE FULFILMENT OF YOUR HEART AND A BEAUTY THAT SINGS. WHEN THEY TRY TO LOOK AT THE SKY AND STARS, THEIR WORLD BECOMES TORN APART, TAINTED BY THE SILHOUETTES OF A THOUSAND PRISON BARS. THEIR VILLAINS POSE AS OUR HEROES, LINING THEIR POCKETS WITH GREED, FEEDING OFF OUR GENEROSITY, THEN TORTURING THOSE IN NEED.CONTINUING TO IGNORE THEIR CRIES AND PRAYERS, AND REVEL IN THEIR DESPAIR, THEN POSE AS A SYMBOL OF GLAMOUR, WE'RE ENAMOURED BUT STILL UNAWARE. THEY HAVE STARVED AND DIED FOR THE SAKE OF TASTING SAFETY, BUT STILL WE BOW DOWN AND ABIDE BY THE WEALTHY, AND THOUGH IT MAY SEEM DIFFERENT, THEM AND YOU, WE ALL LOOK UP AND ARE SILENCED BY THE SAME MOON.-HANA KHAN
