Conflux | Threshold in the City By replacing rigid boundary lines with highly fragmented, porous edges, "The Conflux" establishes a directed yet free trajectory for its users. Ultimately, the project transforms the İstinye shoreline into a generative landscape where diverse typologies, intergenerational experiences, and vibrant urban energy seamlessly converge. Paper BridgesThe very first community project ‘PAPER BRIDGES’ was designed in hopes of activating the imagination and problem solving skills of children that lived in the earthquake zone while create a safe play environment for children affected by the earthquake. We built the projects in Reyhanlı and Samandağ provinces of Hatay, Türkiye. Aside from our main goal of creating a safe play environment, as a team, the aim was to use only recyclable materials, paper bobbins and wooden sticks, to pursue the intention of creating sustainable structures in architecture. We wanted to highlight new ways of using waste materials’ efficiently and creatively in our project while also developing the structure based on mostly one material used in several different ways. We crafted each piece meticolously and took part in a hand on fashion through situating, building and every other phase of the project.
