Cut shuttle weaving is a technique that produces a distinct texture in fabric by using multiple shuttles to weave it. C U T S H U T T L E REFERENCE "Knotting" can refer to the process of tying knots, often seen in macramé or other decorative textile arts. Macramé involves creating textiles by knotting rather than weaving or knitting. Knots are tied in specific patterns to create a variety of decorative and functional items. K N O T T I N G REFERENCE The process of cut pile is as similar as loop pile weave but after looping ,the weaves are cut to make cut pile. REFERENCE L O O P P I L E
The process of cut pile is as similar as loop pile weave but after looping ,the weaves are cut to make cut pile. C U T P I L E REFERENCE The rib weaves are the derivatives of the plain weave. The vertical or horizontal lines get appeared on the fabric surface when the rib weave is woven. Rib weave is a very common weave. It can be woven on tappet, dobby, and jacquard. R I B REFERENCE Tapestry is a form of textile art, traditionally woven by hand on a loom. Normally it is used to create images rather than patterns. Tapestry is relatively fragile, REFERENCE T A P E S T R Y
SURFACE EMBELLISHMENT The world is a very colourful place to live in, starting from the environment, food, and society all the way to designing dresses. From the above research, I could find that we have to protect our world from disasters that will cause our colorfulness to fade away. We must preserve our culture, our heritage, and our mother earth. All the above designers mentioned are practising sustainability as well as keeping our art (embroidery) going. CLIENT BOARD NAME: LUCY MARK AGE: 25-30 STATUS: UPPER MIDDLE CLASS. WEARABLE ART Depression is a type of mood illness characterized by chronic sorrow and loss of interest. It affects how you feel, think, and behave and can cause a number of mental and physical difficulties. But depression isn't always ugly; it can give us the courage to push over our limitations and step forward, knowing that if she doesn't, no one else will. As a result, the individual could appear both confident and beautiful at the same time. Here, the concept of depression may be conveyed as rain, thunder, and storm, and as seen in the last slide, the individual can appear to be confident and attractive, where the imagination can be pushed over to the artist's strength, which is embroidery. In this project a wearable art has to be created showing "depression is beautiful". PROJECT- 4

GRADUATION PROJECT- 2"ଡାଲଖାଈ"DALKHAI One common narrative suggests that the Dalkhai dance originated as a form of celebration during the agricultural cycle, particularly during the harvest season. According to this story, the dance was performed by women from the tribal communities to express gratitude for a bountiful harvest and to invoke blessings for future prosperity. Another aspect of the story relates to the worship of nature and ancestral spirits. It is believed that the dance was performed as a form of offering to the deities and spirits believed to reside in the natural elements such as rivers, mountains, and forests. The rhythmic movements and lively music were thought to please these spirits and ensure their benevolence upon the community. The story behind the Dalkhai dance is deeply rooted in the cultural traditions of the tribal communities of the Sambalpur region in Odisha, India. While there are variations in the specific narratives across different tribal groups, the essence of the story revolves around themes of celebration, agriculture, and community spirit PROJECT- 8

I N S P I R A T I O NWhen the game first entered the pages of history, it was called chaturanga and was played by the kings to learn strategy and war concept. Chaturanga literally meant "four arms." Chatur is Sanskrit for "four" and the other half of the term, anga, meant "arms.” These are the "arms" who protect the king from the opponent party. The old Indian army was composed of four "arms": chariots, elephants, horse ,and pawn.PROJECT- 10
