After several days of anxiously waiting, the day had finally arrived. We woke up knowing that at any moment, everything could change. We had spent months imagining what it would be like to meet you, and now we were simply waiting for the moment that journey would finally begin. Ironically, your dad and I were on our way to your aunt and uncle’s house to watch Arsenal play in the Champions League. Thankfully, we already had our hospital bags packed in the car just in case, because only a few minutes into the drive, the phone rang. It was the hospital telling us it was time to come in to be induced. As we headed toward the hospital instead, we couldn’t help the smiles and the excitement that we felt. Once we were admitted and settled into our room, your dad snapped one last picture of my baby bump. It was the last photo of the two of us before you made us a family of four…a picture we'll always treasure because we had no idea just how much our lives were about to change. Since we knew labor could take a while, we got comfortable and turned on the Arsenal match while we waited. It still makes us laugh that one of your very first "family moments" included your dad proudly wearing his Arsenal jersey and cheering on his favorite team from the hospital room. As the hours passed, the excitement only grew and when day turned into night, it was finally time to push. Just a few minutes later, at 8:03 p.m. on May 30, 2026, you entered the world. It was a moment we'll treasure forever for so many reasons. Your dad had the incredible honor of helping deliver you into the world, and as he placed you in my arms for the very first time, our favorite worship song, Gratitude, played softly in the background. A few minutes later your dad proudly cut your umbilical cord. It felt as though everything had fallen perfectly into place, creating a memory we'll carry with us for the rest of our lives. All the waiting, the anticipation, and every emotion we had felt over the previous nine months melted away the instant we saw your beautiful face. You didn't just make your entrance that evening, you changed our world forever. From that very first moment, you were deeply loved, and our family felt complete in a way we never knew was possible.
