Dear Students, Parents, and Members of the Presidium Family, It gives me immense pleasure to present this edition of our school magazine, The Making of Tomorrow: Where Aspirations Become Achievements. OUR STUDENTSDreamers, Doers & ChangemakersDean’s Block – MathematicsIncreasing and Decreasing OrderOur Grade I students explored Mathematics through engaging and interactive activities in the Dean’s Block. They practised counting, number recognition, and simple mathematical concepts using fun classroom exercises. The activities encouraged students to think, observe, and solve problems with confidence. It was a joyful learning experience that made Mathematics fun and meaningful! Our Grade I students learned about Increasing and Decreasing Order through fun and engaging activities. They practised arranging numbers from the smallest to the greatest and from the greatest to the smallest. Using number cards and classroom examples, students strengthened their understanding of number order. It was an enjoyable learning experience that made Mathematics simple and exciting!Five Sense OrgansOur Grade I students learned about the Five Sense Organs—eyes, ears, nose, tongue, and skin. They discovered how each sense organ helps us see, hear, smell, taste, and feel the world around us. Through engaging classroom activities, students identified and understood the importance of each sense organ. It was a fun and interactive learning experience for our young learners! ‘is, am, are’ – Learning Through Fun!The Grade II students enjoyed an engaging and interactive ‘is, am, are’ activity designed to strengthen their understanding of these important helping verbs. The children read simple sentences carefully, identified the correct helping verb, and filled in the blanks with ‘is,’ ‘am,’ or ‘are.’ Adding an element of excitement to the activity, they then placed their completed sentences into the correct pockets labelled Is, Am, and Are. The activity encouraged the young learners to think, read, and make the right grammatical choices while learning through hands-on participation. It was a joyful way to reinforce grammar concepts and build confidence in using is, am, and are correctly.

OUR STUDENTSDreamers, Doers & ChangemakersNumber Cards: Building Place Value Skills!The Grade II learners turned their Mathematics classroom into a fun and engaging space as they explored the concept of Place Value using number cards. With the help of colourful number cards, the children formed different numbers, identified the ones, tens, and hundreds places, and understood the value of each digit according to its position. They enjoyed arranging and rearranging the cards to create new numbers and discovering how a change in position can change the value of a digit. The hands-on activity helped the young mathematicians strengthen their understanding of place value while developing number sense, logical thinking, and confidence. Learning through play made the concept meaningful and enjoyable, proving that Mathematics can be both fun and fascinating! Blowing Colours, Creating Magic! – Blow Painting ActivityAs part of our Theme – Water, the Grade II children explored the colourful world of art through a fun and engaging Blow Painting Activity. With watercolours, straws, and lots of imagination, the young artists transformed simple drops of colour into beautiful and unique artworks. By blowing gently through the straws, they watched the colours spread, swirl, branch out, and take unexpected shapes—just like the fascinating movement of water! The activity encouraged children to experiment with colours, patterns, movement, and creativity while developing their breath control and fine motor skills. Each child created a one-of-a-kind masterpiece, making the classroom a vibrant splash of colours. OUR STUDENTSDreamers, Doers & ChangemakersMaan card activity - Grade III - MathematicsMultiplication is one of the basic mathematical operations which is extremely helpful in doing basic arithmetic calculations. These are the building blocks for doing fractions, exponents etc. Students of Grade III constructed the tables using straws, stickers and stripes. The objective of doing this activity was to understand how the tables are build. The students laid the straws and then counted the intersection points. It helped them to know the answer for each table. Students were very excited and build the table of 6,7,8 on their own using the given material. This activity really helped them to understand the foundation of tables. Intra-Class Ad Mad Competition (Grades IV-V)The Intra-Class Ad Mad Competition for Grades IV-V was successfully conducted on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. The event was a vibrant celebration of creativity, confidence, and communication, where imagination truly met talent. Students participated with immense enthusiasm, showcasing their advertising skills through both individual and group performances. Their innovative ideas, catchy taglines, expressive role plays, and confident presentations captivated the audience. The energy and participation level of the students were truly commendable, making the competition lively and engaging. The competition provided a wonderful platform for students to enhance their creativity, public speaking, teamwork, and presentation skills. Every participant gave their best, making the event a memorable and grand success. “Where ideas spoke louder than words.”

The session began on a magical note with a charming fairy-angel avatar who instantly captured every child’s imagination. With expressive narration, lively energy, and playful voice modulation, each story came alive and whisked the students into a world of wonder. Today, our students celebrated the spirit of Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotism. The children came dressed as soldiers and freedom fighters, beautifully portraying the courage and sacrifices of our national heroes. They respectfully greeted and saluted the National Flag, expressing their love and respect for our nation. The teachers presented an inspiring freedom story through enactment, helping the children understand the values of courage, unity, and patriotism. The celebration concluded with an engaging Independence Day-themed activity, making the day both educational and memorable for our young learners. Jai Hind!Celebrate the Pride of India!

The Declamation Competition was an absolute showstopper, a stage where words were dressed in confidence, delivered with fire, and transformed into something far more powerful than mere sentences. Students stepped into the spotlight and channelled the voices of remarkable personalities, bringing their speeches to life with precision, passion, and unapologetic charisma. Every pause was calculated, every expression intentional, and every line carried the weight of conviction. The atmosphere was electric. Voices rose, ideas collided, and the stage became a playground for rhetoric, rebellion, and raw confidence. Students didn’t simply recite speeches; they embodied them, commanding the audience with the kind of presence that makes a room fall silent. From powerful gestures to perfectly timed emphasis, each performance proved that speaking is an art, and that the right words, delivered fearlessly, can move an entire room. It was dramatic. It was polished. It was powerful. And if there was one thing the competition made crystal clear, it was this: Give a fearless voice a microphone, and suddenly, the entire room belongs to them. Presidium School came alive with imagination, wit, and entrepreneurial spirit at the much-awaited AD-MAD Competition, where our talented students transformed creative ideas into engaging advertising campaigns. From innovative concepts and persuasive communication to confident performances and compelling storytelling, every team showcased remarkable originality and stage presence. Team Rapunzel emerged as the winner with their brilliantly conceived hair-fall repair shampoo campaign, combining humour, creativity, and an innovative approach to advertising. Jodi Jaddu earned a Special Mention for its witty and unconventional concept of a matchmaking website, leaving the audience impressed with its clever presentation, humour, and refreshing creativity. The AD-MAD Competition was more than just an advertising challenge—it was a celebration of confidence, communication, teamwork, critical thinking, innovation, and the courage to think differently. At Presidium, we believe that education goes beyond classrooms and textbooks. Experiences like these empower students to discover their voices, embrace their individuality, and develop the skills needed to become confident communicators, creative thinkers, and inspiring leaders of tomorrow. Because every great idea begins with the courage to think differently—and every confident voice has the power to leave its mark!AD-MAD COMPETITION The school-level CBSE Young India Culinary Championship (YICC) was successfully held for Grade VI-VIII in alignment with the objectives of NEP 2020 under ‘Out of the Box’ Academy. The competition was conducted in two levels to nurture students’ culinary talent and creativity. The participants prepared innovative dishes without the use of fire or heating appliances. They showcased exemplary creativity using wholesome raw ingredients like fruits, vegetables, bread and dairy and curated aesthetic platters of gourmet sandwiches, vibrant salads and innovative canape’s. The culinary experts assessed students based on their workspace organisation, strict hygiene protocols, waste disposal, nutritional balance, taste and visual plating. The designated school winners, Priyanshi Kapoor from Grade VIII A and Gargi Bhati from Grade VI A , will now collaborate as unified team to represent the school in the upcoming CBSE Regional Level Competition.Culinary CompetitionCulinary Competition

The Design Thinking Competition was nothing short of a showstopper, a dazzling runway where creativity strutted in, innovation stole the spotlight, and imagination refused to play small. Students transformed bold ideas into thoughtful designs, showcasing solutions that were as fearless as a headline and polished as a red-carpet moment. Every creation reflected curiosity, problem-solving, and the courage to look at everyday challenges through an entirely new lens. From clever concepts to beautifully crafted designs, the competition felt like a celebration of “What if?”, because sometimes, the most extraordinary ideas begin with one rebellious little question. Each project had its own personality, proving that design is not merely about making something look good; it is about making an idea matter. The atmosphere was electric, with students proudly presenting their work and turning their visions into tangible creations. It was innovation with attitude, creativity with confidence, and imagination dressed to impress. By the end, one thing was crystal clear: these students didn’t just design solutions; they designed possibilities. And honestly? The future has never looked this fabulous.The Harangue Competition was not merely a speaking event—it was a revolution dressed in confidence. The stage became a throne, the microphone became a weapon, and every voice that rose carried the electricity of rebellion, conviction, and unapologetic truth. The Harvard Boot Camp was not just another training session, it was a full-blown masterclass in ambition, confidence, and thinking beyond the obvious. With an expert mentor joining us to lead the session, students were taken beyond the boundaries of the ordinary classroom and introduced to new ways of thinking, questioning, collaborating, and solving problems. The session was packed with engaging activities, thought- provoking discussions, and moments that made us pause and think, “Wait… why didn’t we look at it like that before?” Every challenge pushed students to step outside their comfort zones and approach ideas with greater curiosity and confidence. What made the experience truly special was its energy, it wasn’t a lecture where you simply sat and listened. It was interactive, dynamic, and unapologetically ambitious, encouraging students to participate, experiment, and think for themselves. By the end, we weren’t just walking away with new skills. We were walking away with a bigger perspective. Because sometimes, all it takes is one powerful session, one new idea, and one person willing to challenge the way you think to make you see what you’re capable of.Presidium School, Sector 57, Gurgaon, proudly hosted the inaugural edition of Kaun Banega Maths Maharathi, an engaging and intellectually stimulating quiz competition inspired by the popular Kaun Banega Crorepati. The event brought together enthusiastic participants from Grades IX to XII, with nearly 90 students registering for the preliminary round. Following a challenging preliminary round, 16 talented students earned their place in the grand finale, representing four teams named after eminent mathematicians and scholars : Neena Gupta, Ramanujan, Shakuntala Devi, and Aryabhatta. The grand finale began with the exciting Fastest Fingers First round and progressed through a series of interactive, KBC-style quiz rounds featuring multiple levels and lifelines. The participants demonstrated remarkable mathematical aptitude, sharp logical reasoning, quick thinking, and excellent teamwork. Every round added to the excitement, making the competition both challenging and entertaining. The presence and encouragement of Principal Sudhanshu Ma’am, Aparna Ma’am, Pooja Bhambri Ma’am, and Sadaf Ma’am added immense value and motivation to the event. The programme concluded with the felicitation of the winners and finalists, celebrating their dedication, confidence, and spirit of excellence. INVEST IT URE Ceremony The Investiture Ceremony was more than a formal occasion, it was a moment where ambition met responsibility, confidence met commitment, and a new chapter stepped boldly into the spotlight. With an atmosphere filled with pride and anticipation, the newly appointed student leaders took centre stage, receiving their badges and embracing the responsibilities that came with them. Every oath, every pledge, and every proud smile carried the promise of something bigger: leadership with purpose. But this wasn’t just about titles. It was about the courage to step forward, the strength to represent, and the determination to make a difference. The ceremony reminded us that true leadership isn’t about standing above everyone else, it’s about standing up for everyone else. There was elegance. There was excitement. There was paazaas. And, most importantly, there was a room full of young leaders ready to make their mark. As the badges were pinned and the pledges were taken, one thing became clear: A title may open the door, but it is what you do with the responsibility that makes you unforgettable.

Through engaging science‑integrated activities, participants expressed themselves with innovative ideas and colorful designs, turning their posters into canvases of knowledge and artistry. The event not only encouraged critical thinking and creativity but also built confidence as students showcased their talents in a collaborative environment. To honor their efforts, certificates and trophies were awarded, making the experience both rewarding and memorable. BEYOND THE FINISH LINE- SPORTS COLUMNVaahyn won a Silver Medal at the 37th Delhi State Taekwon-Do Championship 2026! At Presidium, sport is far more than competition—it is a journey of discipline, resilience and self-discovery. Every practice, every challenge and every milestone shapes our students into determined individuals who learn to rise, strive and persevere. From the thrill of the starting whistle to the quiet satisfaction of pushing one’s limits, our sporting arena celebrates not merely victories, but the spirit of participation, teamwork and sportsmanship. Beyond the finish line lie lessons that endure: courage to begin, resilience to continue, and humility to honour the journey. Aarav Srijith – XI-D - 2 Gold Medals Lavyansh Khandodiya – XI-D - 1 Gold Medal, 1 Silver Medal Adding to the glory, both Aarav and Lavyansh have been selected for the State Level Championship! Similarly, Ravi Tamta, a BA graduate with no engineering degree, relied on self-learning to build India's electric flying car prototype. Adding to this youthful innovation, 14-year-old Vinisha Umashankar designed a solar-powered ironing cart to replace charcoal irons, saving trees and reducing carbon emissions daily.
