WHO'STHATGIRL?Meet Merna. If you ask me to describe Merna in one word, I probably couldn’t. Because she’s not just “kind”, or “hardworking” or “funny”. She’s a little bit of everything, and that’s what makes her so special. She’s the kind of person who checks if you’ve reached home safely, remembers the little things you tell her, and somehow makes ordinary conversations feel comforting. There’s isn’t anything dramatic about the way she cares. it just comes naturally to her. being a Dentistry student isn’t easy. There are long days, endless lectures, exams that seems impossible, and moments when all she wants is a good nap. But even then she keeps going. She laughs through the stress, complains for a minute, then gets back to work. That’s just who she is.
One thing I’ve always admired about her is how hopeful she stays. Even on difficult days, she’ll remind herself “It's okay...we can do it.” 🤍 It’s a small sentence, but it carries so much of who she is. Merna has one of those rare hearts that knows how to appreciate people. She celebrates te smallest acts of kindness and somehow makes others feel like they’re enough, simply by being herself. She’s gentle without being weak. Strong without needing to prove it. She dreams big, works quietly, and keeps believing that every challenge will eventually become just another memory she’ll smile about.
